* ReallyGetsAround / RoyalHarem: One of the many ways he passes the time is having sex with his personal harem made of young girls kidnapped and trained for servitude in Beauty Village and sent by Guame. From these concubines, Lordgenome has spawned countless children (Nia included) that he raises and later discards on a whim. The concubines also act as a BattleHarem by becoming drills for his Lazengann.

The ultimate BigBad of the series. This bizarre being appears to be the embodiment of the collective mind and will of the Anti-Spiral race. As he resides in AnotherDimension created by the Anti-Spirals, he has near-infinite levels of power (and yes, [[NotHyperbole we do mean that literally]]), up to and including manipulation of the very laws of nature.

* FallenHero: [[spoiler:Tried to overthrow the Anti-Spirals pre-series but was vanquished. In ''VideoGame/{{Super Robot Wars Z}}2'', Lordgenome acquired the Black Knowledge and chose to resist the fate it entailed. He fought alongside "[[Anime/ShinMazinger the gods]] [[Anime/GenesisOfAquarion of light]]", "[[Manga/GetterRobo those who seek endless evolution]]", "[[Anime/MacrossFrontier those who sail the galaxy]]" and the Dimensional Generals against Ba'al. The Anti-Spiral Tribe, who learned of the potential ultimate end of the universe due to overuse of the Power of Spiral, turned against their allies and allied themselves with Ba'al. The allied forces were ultimately defeated, and the Spiral races were sealed on their respective planets. Lordgenome fell into despair and spent the next 1000 years keeping the Earth's Spiral races suppressed.]]

* TheWorfEffect: In ''VideoGame/{{Super Robot Wars Z}}2: Hakai-Hen'', Lordgenome is not frightened at all by the protagonist group except for one man. [[{{Badass}} That man is]] [[{{Expy}} none other than anime]] Film/JamesBond, [[Anime/{{Daitarn3}} Haran Banjou.]]

* ClimaxBoss: The Grand Zamboa in ''[[VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsZ Third Super Robot Wars Z: Jigoku-hen]]'' because the Anti-Spiral was pretty much the General in charge of this "battalion" of the Ba'al with something like half the villainous series used under his authority. The entire original story practically surrounded what he was doing in the background. In a lot of ways, he was kind of like what the Aerogators were to the entire Balmar Empire in the ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsAlpha'' series. Everything in the story was leading up to the encounter with the Anti-Spiral.

* EvilKnockoff: [[spoiler:In response to the heroes' advance, he creates a twisted version of their own mecha, and even fights using drills during the climax. In the second movie, this includes his own version of the Giga Drill Breaker. In ''VideoGame/{{Super Robot Wars Z}}2'', [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-A96vSQKvA he pilots]] a PaletteSwap of the Gurren Lagann with Anti-Spiral Nia.]]

* VillainTeamUp:
** With [[{{Anime/Dancougar}} Emperor Muge Zorbados]] and [[Anime/GodMars Emperor Zule]] in [[VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsZ Saisei-Hen]].
** He also seems affiliated with the BigBad of the whole ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsZ'' saga.
** He also cooperates with the [[Manga/GetterRobo Invaders]] because the Invaders use Getter Rays incorrectly. Rather than simply inundating themselves in the Getter and allowing evolution to take its course, they forcibly "evolve" themselves. To the Anti-Spirals, the Invaders are not "evolving" so much as they are simply growing bigger and more primal. After all, Stinger and Cohen are the only examples of sapient Invaders after [[spoiler: Saotome]] kicked the bucket. "Correct" evolution is meant to be a slow process that increases not power and size (like in the case of Invaders), but all the attributes of a living thing. The Invaders do not contribute to Spiral Nemesis because they have no souls and therefore their rapid evolution does not increase entropy as much as a Spiral's would. Anti-Spiral himself states that regardless of how much the Invaders evolve, they are mindless beasts and therefore can be easily dealt with at the moment of his choosing.

* AbusiveParent: Just from his treatment of Nia and implications that he let all of his other daughters die on a whim. [[spoiler:If not for the presence of the Anti-Spiral, his trying to kill Nia could be considered a MoralEventHorizon.]]
* AmbiguouslyBrown: Though his outfit and facial features suggest he might be of Turkish or Middle Eastern ancestry. His Parallel Works, however, show thag he was light-skinned when he was younger.

* Irony: Like Viral, she's one of the more human looking beast men (seriously, remove the scorpion tail and she could easily pass for human), but is far more vocal about her anti human beliefs.
