* NeverMyFault: Her transformation was due to her stupidity of hosting a concert ''in the middle of a storm''. Superman tried to get her to cancel it as she was both putting herself and the audience in danger; she wouldn't listen and even though he saved her from getting hit by lightning, the bolt passed through Superman and hit her anyway, transforming her into Livewire. She then blamed Superman for the mess, mostly from seeing on TV a reporter interviewing Superman accusing that he deliberately didn't push Leslie out of the way when the lightning struck.
