Born Albert Heinrich, Cyborg 004, and his fiancé Hilda, failed to escape East Berlin to
the West. They were shot at by the border guards with Hilda dying and himself being seriously injured. Immediately after, he was abducted by the Black Ghost Organization, but the damage to his body great. Most of his bodily functions were replaced by machines. Becoming a cyborg type that specializes in battle and turned his entire body into an armory with his right hand now a machine gun, his left hand an electric knife, and micro missile launchers built into his thigh. In addition, he is known as “Shinigami” (“God of Death”) with him having an atomic bomb stored inside his body.

As Chang Changku, originally from a farm village in China’s Guandong Province. he lived in poverty and tried to take his own life before his attempt was stopped by the Black Ghost Organization. After his conversion, he can breathe searing flames and heat from his mouth hot enough to created tunnels in the ground. A cheerful, middle-aged, glutton, and coward, 006 is alsoopen-minded and has a deep personality at heart. He is a skilled master chef and runs the eponymous “Chang Changku” restaurant.

Cyborg 009 is the leader of the 00 Cyborgs and a universal type Cyborg Soldier that combines the attributes of the other 00 Cyborgs in one body. Born Joe Shimamura, the hafu son of a Japanese mother and a father of an unknown nationality, he was discriminated against growing up and became a delinquent. Just after escaping from a juvenile hall, he was captured by the Black Ghost Organization and converted.
