* FemalesAreMoreInnocent: While all of the Inquisitors are [[TragicVillain Tragic Villains]] to an extent, the Sisters are usually given more sympathy by the narrative. All of the Sisters save for the Seventh are revealed to have succumbed to villainy mainly as the product of intense torture and mental subjugation. All of them, as well as the Seventh Sister, are either given a chance to redeem themselves and/or have their deaths given a level of tragedy and somberness to them. In contrast, their male counterparts are cut down without remorse, with a few even being revealed to have [[NotBrainwashed chosen to join the Inquisitors completely on their own free will.]]

* TaughtByExperience: During a practice duel with the Thirteenth Sister, she is put on the defensive when her opponent summons a swarm of spiderbats with the Force to distract her. She later admits she took inspiration from this to advance her own tactics, with her Mimic droids substituting as the small, expendable horde of flying minions to distract her foes in combat.

* VoiceChangeling: Her Mimic Droids can copy any voice they've heard, even the droidspeak of other droids.

* TheCameo: The extent of his appearance in ''Tales of the Empire''. He appears in the final scene of "Devoted" to kneel at the throne of Vader along with Barriss, the Fourth Sister, and the Unidentified Inquisitor, without any lines or independent focus given to him.

* BloodKnight: Rather than wait for Ahsoka to return, he gives away his presence by immediately burning down a village and slaughters its inhabitants because he did not find the Jedi he was looking for...despite specifically being told by the informer that the Jedi in question would be returning shortly.

* RedEyesTakeWarning: Red Eye in their case. They use it to monitor and track their targets.

to:

* AnimalMotifs: Parrots. One of their alternate names is "Parrot Droids", they are able to copy the voices of people they interact with, and at least one of them takes a spot on the Seventh Sister's shoulder, like a stereotypical domesticated bird.
* MiniMook: They are noted InUniverse to visually resemble a smaller and more compact version of the Empire's more widely-employed Viper Probe Droids.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: [[CyberCyclops Red Eye Eye]] in their case. They use it to monitor and track their targets.

Added DiffLines:

* VoiceChangeling: The Mimic Droids can record and copy any voice they've heard, even the droidspeak of other models of droids. The Seekers used by the Seventh Sister both deliver important information to her and lure her foes into a trap.

* UnskilledButStrong: They're naturally very powerful thanks to being Force-sensitives and their double-bladed lightsabers are incredibly deadly weapons. Unfortunately, the majority of them were only Younglings and Padawans before they became Inquisitors, so their skill and training are incomplete, resulting in them only having passable-to-average swordsmanship and having very basic force techniques.

* TheStarscream: Many Inquisitors wish to be promoted to the rank of Grand Inquisitor, and some are willing to murder the incumbent for that position. However, many are too weak to face the Grand Inquisitor himself, opting to instead wait for him to die and then go after the position. Only Reva (Third Sister) has ever made a move against the Grand Inquisitor when he was still alive.

** This is best seen in '"WesternAnimation/StarWarsTalesOfTheEmpire'' with the Fourth Sister, who completely embraces the Dark Side, working alongside Barriss, who relies on her Jedi ideals. Barriss' kinder methods actually got immediate intel on the Jedi's whereabouts while the Fourth Sister's brutal interrogations leads her to a dead end. And the Fourth Sister's exclusive usage of the Dark Side makes her lightsaber skills predictable, while Barriss' combination of defensive skills and her silver tongue causes her tired opponent to surrender peacefully. [[spoiler:Unsurprisingly, [[HeelFaceTurn Barriss turns against the Inquisitorius]] because she cannot stand the evil, hypocritical, and impractical methods used by her colleagues.]]

** The whole organization is filled with [[TheStarscream ambitious, power-hungry backstabbers]] who see each other rivals rather than comrades thanks to their training. As such, they don't really work well together even for a common goal, especially when the Grand Inquisitor position is vacant. In a fashion, they represent what the Sith were before the RuleOfTwo was established, a large but fragile group that is more likely going to collapse upon itself through infighting than any real outside pressure.

* DwindlingParty: While it's unclear as to how many Inquisitors there were at any given time, the Inquisitorius gradually loses its membership over the course of the Imperial era, with the Inquisitors either dying (at the hands of their quarry or [[BadBoss Vader]]) or deserting for one reason or another. * JerkassToOne: [[FauxAffablyEvil An affectation though it may be]], the Grand Inquisitor usually conducts himself with a polite and gentlemanly demeanor, even in the course of his Jedi-hunting duties. * YouveGotSpunk: In ''Tales of the Empire'', when Barriss draws his blood in a training session, the Grand Inquisitor is visibly impressed and compliments her.

* AlasPoorVillain: [[spoiler:Trilla's demise, [[HeelFaceDoorSlam just before she could turn away from a dark path]], is a shocking and needless moment of violence, showing just how disposable the Empire's servants are to them.
