While Wile E Coyote is able to survive due to cartoon physiques, those Buzzards may have perished in the explosion as their car still explodes before Slit throws his explosive spear.

While the Monstars took the appearances of the NBA players they stole the talents from, but with monster features, at the end of the day, they're still their own characters as the Nerdlucks. The Goon Squad, meanwhile, can be argued that they ''are'' their NBA and WNBA players technically, but mutated and fighting for the enemy side. Another contrast is that while the NBA players in the original had their talent stolen, in this the NBA and WNBA players consent to being part of the game.
