Actually the more I thought about it, Black Star and Kid don't really fit for "Tritagonist" here. I would say that Soul makes the most sense for Deuteragonist here. Star and Kid are both main characters, but Maka and Soul imo definitely stand out as the protagonist and deuteragonist respectively. I think Tritagonist would be a better description for Star and Kid.
