And then when the minds of the three wizards manifested after the Genesis Wave? They immediately start fighting Naugus and ''each other'' for the opportunity to take their shared body for themselves, with Naugus only able to stay dominant in the moment by ironically exploiting said in-fighting and seeing an opportunity to score brownie-points with the New Mobotropolis citizens upon seeing another Eggman attack, giving him clarity and focus to push them down.

* MilesGloriosus: Upon taking over New Mobotropolis, he repeatedly dismisses the accomplishments of the Freedom Fighters, boasting he can easily protect the city for them. In the end, even with a Chaos Emerald, Naugus proves completely incapable of fending off attacks from both the Battle Bird Armada and Eggman's forces, with the Freedom Fighters doing so while making him look like a fool. Upon becoming a councilor, Isabella Mongoose cites Naugus' failures as one of the main reasons why she wants to overturn Nicole's exile.

However, she's also the "new" Evil Green Hedgehog, filling in Scourge's spot, at least to a degree.

Changing Expy to Suspiciously Similar Substitute because Breezie is replacing in-series characters that came before her.

* AdaptationSpeciesChange: While still a hedgehog, she is a fully organic one in the comic compared to her robotic counterpart of the [=AoStH=] cartoon.

* AdaptationPersonalityChange: In [[WesternAnimation/AdventuresOfSonicTheHedgehog her series of origin]], Breezie was TheVamp--a RobotGirl [[LadyInRed in Red]] who was built to seduce Sonic before she had a HeelFaceTurn herself. Archie's take on Breezie, [[CompositeCharacter borrowing heavily]] from the [[PutOnABus now-defunct]] [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Mammoth Mogul]], is an ambitious media mogul in her own right.

* TheBadGuyWins: Sorta in her introduction arc, yeah she knew she would lose the emerald sooner of later, but the ratings boost more then made up for it. She's even richer and popular then ever with no one, save those that really know her, the wiser of her true nature. All thanks to Sonic and Eggman whom she played like fiddles. Granted Sonic knew this going into the tournament but had bigger concerns and had to play along. Eggman though not so much and in the end he wound up with his with hired mercenaries and Metal Sonic outwitted and him losing the emerald.

* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Nack is a weird case of this. His [[Characters/SonicTheHedgehogClassicEraAntagonists game counterpart]] was designed to be a jerboa (hence his long ears and bent tail), but this somehow got lost in translation and he ended up as a weasel in the western release of ''VideoGame/SonicTripleTrouble''. With ''VideoGame/SonicSuperstars'' definitively labeling him as a jerboa in all regions of the world, Nack has had this retroactively applied to his appearances in the Archie comics (along with DubNameChange).
* BerserkButton: Don't damage the [[CoolBike Marvelous Queen]].
--> '''Nack:''' That tears it! You can backstab me, cheat me, kick me while I'm down, but ''nobody'' tries to blow up my bike!
* BornUnlucky: Nack is consistently shown to be a ruthless and skilled marksman with the track record to back it up, having sniped ''[[SuperSpeed Sonic himself]]'' on more than once. Unfortunately for him, though, more often than not his shots are blocked and/or intercepted by forces far outside his control. This is especially prevalent after the reboot, where he fails to assassinate Knuckles on two separate occasions that happen more or less back to back—first his revolver gets clogged with water, and then Metal Sonic gets in his way right as he's about to fire. The latter instance stands out in particular, as he was about to take out both Knuckles ''and'' Sonic [[OneHitPolykill in one shot]], ''and'' on live TV.

* IronButtMonkey

to:

* IronButtMonkeyFatalFlaw: His ego.
** True to his title, Nack is at his deadliest when sniping his targets from afar and consistently struggles in close quarters combat. However, he's so overconfident in his abilities that he often ends up challenging the heroes head on instead of standing by and waiting to get his shot. This is best demonstrated in the Champions arc, where he's obviously one of the weaker contestants in the actual one-on-one ringed fights but nearly assassinates both Sonic and Knuckles with one shot of his rifle after he's eliminated.
** Also in the Champions arc, Nack had Sonic and Knuckles dead to rights after Bean blew up the casino's power generator, but didn't pull the trigger because he wanted [[OneHitPolykill to get them both at once]]. He misses his opportunity as soon as Metal Sonic shows up and draws their attention.
* IronButtMonkey: Particularly true in his earlier appearances.

** He comes ''dangerously'' close to killing both Sonic ''and'' Knuckles with a single bullet from his sniper rifle in issue 271. The only reason he misses is because Metal Sonic drops in front of him ''just'' as he was about to fire. The scariest thing is that Sonic had no clue just how close he came to dying because ''no one even suspected he was there''!

** In a free-for-all for a Chaos Emerald, Fang tries to use the opportunity to snipe an unknowing Amy, having turned his vengeance onto her over last time, but this time gets blindsided by Cream and Cheese. An frustrated Fang lampshades [[IWasBeatenByAGirl he's having a bad track record with girls]].

Added DiffLines:

* MythologyGag: After the reboot, Nack's title cards started labeling him as "fanged sniper," an obvious reference to his game counterpart's name (at the time), Fang the Sniper.
