* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: Granted, she ''is'' technically a robot, but even then there are in-universe documented cases of Replikas reacting to various injuries and traumas that it's an oddity how Elster doesn't.
** No matter how badly she's beaten up, slashed with knives and cleavers, getting sliced with monofilament wires, or blasted with heavy-duty mining lasers, Elster only ever seems to utter the occasional grunt and nothing else. While she does hold her stomach and limp around when sufficiently injured, that's about the full extent of Elster's reaction to her body falling apart.
** [[spoiler:Upon ripping herself open trying to enter the Penrose's hatch in the false ending, Elster would lose her right arm and her entire chest plate, which exposes her ribcage and synthetic organs inside her torso. Not that this fazes her any.]]
** Lastly, [[spoiler:Adler [[EyeScream stabbing her in the eye]] with a large knife]] does nothing to falter her resolve, either, with Elster appearing to be more bored than hurt by the injury.

** The ADLR is not a combat unit, nor intended as such. It is an administrative and support unit meant to oversee the actual combatants. And yet Adler has by far one of the highest kill counts of the setting, and repeatedly kills Elster even if it is through trickery.

* NonMaliciousMonster: Unlike other corrupted Replikas, mutated Kolibris don't go out of their way to antagonize Elster or other survivors, being content to sit where they are and sulk under the massive psychological weight of their now-haywire bioresonance, that they inadvertently "bleed" out to those around them which can cause real harm. A note found in the dorm level describes how the author encountered the corrupted Kolibri in the 7th floor painting room, who just sat there weeping rather than getting up to attack, though her ambient psychological afflictions were still at full strength.

* BrownNoteBeing: A noted feature of normal Kolibris is their tendency to subconsciously create an emotional feedback loop as psychic "bleeding" of their own bioresonance. As a result, when a Kolibri becomes degraded or corrupted, she would act as an amplifier to massively damage the mentality of those around her as well. This is reflected by how the corrupted Kolibris don't even seem to bother attacking the player, with Elster taking damage simply by being near them, which gets worse with proximity. As well, due to the psychological nature of their "attack", [[HPToOne Kolibris cannot directly kill Elster this way.]]
