An evil sorcerer who summoned Tsuki and kept her as a slave for over a century, his cruelty was enough to break even the will of a demon, and send her into utter despair.

* NoNameGiven: "Mister Monster" is what Tsuki calls him. She never learned any other name. (The author claims even ''he'' may have forgotten it.)
* PredecessorVillain: Thusfar, he has only appeared in Tsuki's origin story, which was a [[{{Flashback}} flashback]]. Whether he'll ever appear in a story set in the present day remains to be seen.

* VillainousLegacy: While he has yet to appear in any present-day fic (and whether he is alive or dead is not known) it is strongly implied that the Bloodhulks used by Drumer in ''Conspiracy'' were created via a technique he invented.

* [[AntiHero Anti Heroine]]: Compared to most Shadowchasers. (For now, she seems to fit the UnscrupulousHero subclass best.)

* BreakingTheFourthWall: She briefly does this in her introductory chapter in ''Twice-Told Tales'', taking over the narration in describing her character file.]]

* {[Fangirl}}: While she's a fan of a lot of anime and video games, she seems to be a big fan of the Final Fantasy series in particular. As seen in her dialogue in ''Backwater'' and ''Tournament of Shadows''.

A spirit of the strangest type, the result of a what happens when a modern device becomes just old enough for ancient magic to take hold and give it life. Eccentric and vivacious, Kenshin loves nothing more than playing video games of all kinds, with only her love of hacking surpassing it. She classifies herself as a Technomage, but no other Technomage literally inserts themselves into the game they're playing...

* ILetYouWin: This was a big part of his origin. His opponent in the arena one day (see FightClubbing above) was someone who appeared to be a frail old man. Fearing that he might kill the old man, he decided to simply do nothing. As it turned out, the old man was actually a [[OldMaster powerful Muy Thai sensei]] who managed to shatter his arm with one kick. Gurren quickly lost and was disowned by his master, at which point he was taken in by the martial artist.

* KungShui: He has shown this yet, but seeing as he’s super-strong stone golem who knows martial arts, he’s more than likely capable of it.

* BadLiar: When asked by Jalal on how she got to Duelist Kingdom so quickly in ''Tournament of Shadows''.

* CruelMercy: She considers what she did to [[spoiler: Thaddeus by the end of her chapter as this. Instead of letting him die from madness after reading her thoughts, she traps him in the same permanent illusion that her parnets are trapped in.]] She tells Jalal that she did this because he called her a monster, and only a monster would allow him to die.
* {{Expy}}: Due to her Marvel deck being directly based on Pokemon, all of her monsters fall under this.

* OneWingedAngel: A rare heroic example. Usually, she appears human, aside from her tail. Her true form is a bestial, fox-like humanoid, with long claws, [[ScaryTeeth fangs]], and [[GlowingEyesOfDoom burning eyes]]. In the chapter where she was introduced, she assumed this form when angry; it isn't known if she can do so otherwise.

* RedEyesTakeWarning: Subverted in that she's probably one of the nicest members of the team. Played straight however when she transforms to her true form and/or gets very angry.
* ShipTease: With Jalal during her introductory chapter. Her Character file implies that this trope could possibly have led to the assumptions that she and Jalal were an item.

* [[SignatureMove Signature Card]]: Psychic Superior (fitting considering it's a Mewtwo Expy).

* AmbiguouslyBi: It's possible, considering her flustered reaction when Tsuki kisses her during a training session and brings up the possibility of inviting her to a threesome with her and Fayte. She (and Tsubasa) even gets a {{Nosebleed}} afterwards.

* {{Brainwashed}}: In her origin story, courtesy of Divine and later Lan'tao. Fortunately she snapped out of it after Lan'tao seemed to lose most of his powers at the Shadow Queen's hands.

* ForegoneConclusion: Since she appeared in the present as a Shadowchaser and is one of the major protagonists of ''Shadowchasers" Backwater'', it was already certain that she'd survive the events in ''Redux'' and would eventually leave Divine's and Lan'tao's control as well as cut any ties with the Arcadia Movement [[spoiler:(the end of ''Redux'' reveals that Hyde Vayne was responsible for her rescue and at least part of her recruitment into the organization.)]]

* LingerieScene: Not on-screen but at one point, Kenshin mentions that she once hacked her computer during a failed attempt at meditation and as a result, a picture of her in lingerie was found on her Facebook account.

* ReallyGetsAround: ''Possibly''. In the first chapter of ''Knightfall'', Tsuki claims she had "just finished [her] umpteenth boyfriend". (And she was playfully flirting with Tsuki at the time too.)

* DrinkingContest: He wakes up with a horrible hangover after his 21st birthday party after accepting a challenge like this from a dwarf (which, as ''anyone'' who knows ''anything'' about dwarves would tell you, is a pretty dumb idea).

* UnknownRival: Solex likely doesn't even know she's still alive at this point. However, she now ''despises'' him. (For obvious reasons.) Still, she has no plans for revenge at present, for the same reason the Backwater Shadowchasers cannot. As she explains Achan in ''Backwater Parallels'' "If it were possible to kill him for what he did to me, do you not think ''I would have done so already?''"

* ForegoneConclusion: Since she appears in the present as a Shadowchaser and is one of the major protagonists of ''Shadowchasers" Backwater'', it can already be certain that she survives the events in ''Redux'' and had left Divine's and Lan'tao's control as well as cut any ties with the Arcadia Movement (exactly ''how'' is still a mystery though).

However, by legal definition, an electronic device like a an NES cannot spawn a true Tsukumogami, so the best thing to call her would probably be simply a “spirit”; anything else wouldn’t fit.

* StockCharacters: The Adventurer Deck that she duels with while in I2's database consist of monsters that are based on stock video game characters.

* BerserkButton: In her origin story; despite her brainwashed state, the only thing that seems to get an emotion from her is when her duelist pride is insulted.
