* MotiveDecay: At first, they used their powers [[KickTheSonOfABitch to punish the pirates who killed their people]]. However, after that, they decided to use it to live forever by draining the life energy of other victims.

* KickTheSonOfABitch: After Chrissy rudely pushes Brick out of the way after her act and calls him a "loser", he coldly tells her that her father's been arrested before her mother can break the news to her gently.

* TheSociopath: Ben Ravencroft is easily one of the most evil villains in the entire ''Scooby-Doo'' franchise. He has an uncanny ability to manipulate the people around him into doing his bidding, all the while maintaining a veneer of genuine concern for them. No one suspects a thing until he reveals his true colors at the film's climax. Once he gets what he wants, he [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness turns on every single one of them]] without hesitation, making it clear that any attachments he may have formed with others (e.g. Velma, the residents of Oakhaven) were completely feigned. A megalomaniac, he is very much given to delusions of grandeur and shows absolutely no remorse for any of his misdeeds. His only redeeming factor (and "redeeming" probably isn't the right word) is that he wants to TakeOverTheWorld, but not [[OmnicidalManiac destroy it]].

* PeekABangs: Her bangs cover one of her eyes.

* KickTheDog / KickTheSonOfABitch: Simone [[BadBoss tells Lena to abandon Jacques after the zombies dogpile him]].

* WoundedGazelleGambit: Lena pulled this off by faking screams and concocting a story about how the zombies kidnapped Simone to lure the gang to a trap. Ironically, the zombies were after them instead of Scooby and the gang.

* SerialKiller: He forms a homicidal trio with Lena and Simone.

* RomanticFalseLead: Fred falls for Lena at their first meeting.

An enemy of Batman who is an intelligent scientist.

* AmbiguousSituation: Because Scooby-Doo crossed over with Batman in the past and because of how Scooby-Doo is loose with its canon, it's never stated if he's from ''[[WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooAndBatmanTheBraveAndTheBold Brave and the Bold]]'' or another take of the character.
* CompositeCharacter: He takes elements from the various incarnations of Scarecrow, such as the '90s animated. But also elements from Jack from "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" as Maxell Atoms wrote the special. Mainly how he uses a scythe and has a parade of mutated pumpkins attacking the city (though they are revealed to be drones).
