* PrincessClassic: She's not one herself, but she shares many of the tropes despite being a silly character; gentle nature, supposed ability to talk to animals, kind, helpful, and somewhat graceful. [[spoiler:Her execution even mocks this by having her casket start in a forest, mimicking the death of [[Literature/SnowWhiteAndTheSevenDwarfs Snow White]].]]

Although quite unhappy with his new city life, Eiji eventually worked up the inspiration to visit Mitsuishi shrine to see the fabled relic of “Oni no Tegata.” This visit and his talks with the shine keepers gave him the motivation to create something from his talent. He worked on a project for the Sansa Odori festival of the next year. He made illustrated Taiko drum covers based off of his knowledge of the tale. The new visuals caught the attention of many tourists and the popularity of the event fluctuated positively. Hope’s Peak looked into Eiji’s behind the scenes work and eventually found that he was a diligent reader and student of folklore and sent him and invitation to attend as the SHSL Yokai Specialist. [[spoiler: The first victim. Died of external bleeding on the head, stored in the fridge to be discovered by Kaitaro Kobayashi.]]

Both have a habit of disguising their uglier personalities under a more approachable, adorable facade, and both have the same sort of hairstyle (warm colored hair in a ponytail). There's also the fact that Ai ''used'' to be a delinquent before the start of the RP...

* EmbarrassingNickname: Miya calling her "Oshiri-chan", considering that she's calling her the equivalent to "Butt-chan".

* TeensAreShort: Not as short as Eiji, but he's on the low end for male height at 168 cm.

To most people, Terumi may seem like just an archetypal, bullyish snob - which really would be a pretty correct assumption. She’s acts arrogant, as if she believes herself to be superior to those around her, and in everything she does there’s a calm confidence. In her eyes, her own success is guaranteed - failure is just something completely unnatural to her. It doesn’t end with her having an unbearably smug aura around her, worse than that is the way that she will treat other people, with a strange mixture of pity, scorn and admiration. Being a person who has never had a need to work hard for any goal, the idea of doing so is both something Terumi views with disdain and envy, and as a result - views hardworking, energetic people in the same vein. [[spoiler: She's executed via Monodeath.]]

* BreakTheHaughty: Her drop in the pit scared the lights out of her.

* SpeaksFluentAnimal: Claims to do this during the early chapters. Ozu even refers to it as a "Literature/DoctorDoolittle routine".
