* BaldOfAwesome: Not ''totally'' bald but it's shaven pretty close, and he's a [[DeadpanSnarker sarcastic]], genuinely {{Badass}} AntiHero.

** Not to mention the whole reason he became a mercenary was to support his mother.

** FinalBoss: For Jake and Sherry.

* BookEnds: He's both the first and the last boss you face in Jake's campaign.

* HealingFactor: Subverted; despite being a C-virus B.O.W., it lacks even conventional healing ability. Six months later, it still sports the wounds Jake and Sherry gave it with a mining drill. A file mentions the C-Virus didn't even regenerate its lost right arm prior, prompting ArtificialLimbs to compensate.

Moving to YMMV on The Scrappy. For Ustanak, I wrote it wrong. Ada mentioned it about the Ubistvo. Why Wont You Die is about a character reaction Stock Phrase, not a viewer reaction.

-->''"I want 200,000 up-front, another 200 when this is over... oh, and B.O.W.s? Those are extra."''

* BadassAbnormal: Just like his father, he possesses superhuman strength, agility, and endurance. It's never specified if those are his natural abilities or he gained them when he injected himself with the C-Virus.
* BadassBiker
* BadassInDistress: He gets captured twice. He mostly rescues himself the first time, though it took him six months, but the second time he only managed it with outside help.
* BaldOfAwesome: Not ''totally'' bald but it's shaven pretty close, and he's a [[DeadpanSnarker sarcastic]], genuinely {{Badass}} AntiHero.
* BloodKnight: At first, it seems that Jake's jokes, taunts, and boasting might just be bravado on his part. But it eventually becomes clear that he means what he says, and he really is having fun fighting zombie hordes. He refers to the RecurringBoss [[NightmareFuel Ustanak]] as his personal punching bag without irony, after about the fourth time that it came within a hairs-breath of killing him and Sherry.
* [[spoiler:CoolShades: In his epilogue. Just like his daddy.]]
* ChekhovsGunman: His C-virus antibodies, in which Carla Radames uses to make the C-virus more potent.
* ChildSoldier: Began his work as a mercenary when he was still a young teenager to support his mother.
* ComicallySmallBribe: [[spoiler: His scenario's ending has him sending a text message to Sherry that he's dropped his price for his blood to 50 dollars. He goes even further in the secret ending, where he's seen taking an apple as payment from a kid for getting rid of some B.O.W.s. It's a pre-arranged price, too.]]
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Some of the things he’s done as a mercenary weigh pretty heavily on his conscience, causing him to speculate bitterly about what traits he might have inherited from his newly-discovered father.
* DeadpanSnarker: Potentially one of the snarkiest characters of the series.
* DistressedDude: Despite his {{badass}}ery and powers, he is captured twice during the game: once by [[spoiler: Carla pretending to be]] Ada and a second time by Neo-Umbrella.
* [[EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas Even Anti-Heroes Love Their Mamas]]: One of his main motivations for becoming a mercenary was to provide for his mother.
* FreudianExcuse: His fixation on money is more understandable once you learn that he was raised in poverty by a chronically ill mother, with no father in the picture, and became a mercenary at no more than fifteen to try and earn the money to treat her illness, only for her to die of it soon after. Then when he was seventeen, one of his trainers became a father-figure to him only to sell out the whole unit for money, getting all but two of them killed.
* GoodOldFisticuffs: While his gameplay is similar to the other characters, his melee is faster, stronger, and can combo and he has powerful counters. Throw in limited ammo and do the math.
* GoodScarsEvilScars: Sports a long, straight one down the cheek.
* HaveWeMet: Said by Chris in the Captivate trailer. Not surprising, considering Jake's parentage and Chris's antagonistic relationship with Albert Wesker.
* HeroicBastard
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: He's got about a good foot taller than Sherry, despite being about several years younger than her.
* IAmNotMyFather: Deciding this is an important turning point for him.
--> '''Jake:''': "You know what? I'm not my father. [[spoiler: And I'm gonna make damn sure it stays that way.]]"
* TheImmune: Immune to the C-Virus, and also his blood is its cure. Unfortunately, Neo Umbrella wants his blood so they can make the C-Virus stronger.
* InTheBlood: He questions if "crazy doesn't run in the family" after finding out his parentage, but he ultimately has little in common with Albert Wesker.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite his snarky behavior, Jake does seem to care for Sherry over time. [[spoiler: He also changes his price from 50 million to 50 dollars.]]
* LamarckWasRight: Despite the fact that they've never met, some of the attacks he uses resemble those used by his father, such as the way he drops one shoulder and rushes an enemy. Possibly partly justified by them having the same superhuman strength and agility.
* LightningBruiser: Although not to the same extent as Wesker, Jake is incredibly strong and agile despite being only 20 years old. He is the only playable character who has hand-to-hand melee instead of a knife. His melee is also faster, stronger, has powerful counters, and is the only one that can combo. [[spoiler: He is also strong and fast enough to dodge and trade blows with 20 ft-tall fellow LightningBruiser Ustanak.]]
* LukeIAmYourFather: He is Albert Wesker's illegitimate son.
* [[MacGuffinGirl MacGuffin Guy]]: His blood is the reason why everybody's after him.
* TheNicknamer: Calls Sherry "super girl" and the BSAA "boy scouts".
* NotEvenBotheringWithTheAccent: Jake has what is definitely an American accent, but he was born and raised in east Europe. Some of the things he says even indicate that he's never been to the US!
* NotSoDifferent: To his father, Wesker, despite his IAmNotMyFather. Downplayed, as this ultimately doesn't apply to personality. Both have fighting styles which resemble each other despite having never met each other. And of course, Jake [[spoiler: later adopts CoolShades just as dark as his father's.]]
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: One of his dominant character traits, and the trait focused on by the reveal trailer, is his fixation on money. This is explained in his story, as Jake took up a job of being a merc to provide for his mom since Wesker abandoned the family.
-->''"Well the world can have [my blood], as long as someone ponies up the dough."''
* ParentalAbandonment: Wesker abandoned an Eastern European woman before he was born. This may factor into how Jake is nothing like Mr. Wesker at all.
* ShaggyDogStory: His backstory. His mother was chronically ill with something curable, but they barely had the money for basic expenses, never mind treatment. To get the needed money, he became a mercenary, but his mother died soon after, leaving him with money but no mother.
* ShipTease: ''Lots'' of it with Sherry.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: Chris seems to recognize something of Wesker in him in their first meeting, even asking if they've met before, and later tells him that he can see his father in him.
* TroubledButCute: His poverty-stricken childhood and the bad experiences he's had as a mercenary have left him with some serious issues, even though he's barely out of his teens, but Sherry (and a sizable number of female fans) still seems to be attracted to him.
* [[spoiler: WalkingShirtlessScene: Spends a good portion of the game in nothing more than hospital pants.]]
* YoungerThanTheyLook: Jake is only 20 years old, despite appearances. This also makes him the second youngest protagonist in the franchise, after Rebecca Chambers.

!!Helena Harper
!!!Voiced by LauraBailey
Leon's companion in ''6''. She is a government agent who holds herself responsible for the virus outbreak in Tall Oaks.

* ActionGirl
* AlliterativeName
* TheAtoner
* [[BigBrotherInstinct Big Sister Instinct]]: When she found out Deborah's boyfriend was abusive, she ''shot him'' in the leg. [[spoiler: Simmons later used her sister's life to force her to distract the President's security detail, and she spends the first part of the game trying to save her sister and [[KnightTemplarBigSister the rest trying to avenge her]]]].
* [[spoiler:DeadLittleSister]]
* {{Determinator}}
* FairCop: Especially her alternate costume in Mercenary Mode.
* HairTriggerTemper: The files portray Helena as having serious anger issues, and she spends most of the game ''furiously'' pissed off.
* HotChickInABadassSuit
** WaistcoatOfStyle
* [[spoiler:[[IHaveYourWife I Have Your Sister]]: Simmons uses her sister's life as leverage to force Helena to call in a fake threat to distract President Benford's security detail, which allows Simmons to infect him.]]
* ItsAllMyFault
* MasterOfTheMixedMessage: Leon flirts with Helena, and she's vaguely receptive, and they've stayed by each other through armageddon, and when Leon arrives at the last minute to reveal that she's not going to jail, she responds by...giving Leon and Ada her blessing. Leon's face is priceless ("Women...").
* NervesOfSteel: Just as much as Leon, but arguably more noticeable due to her not actually having any experience with zombies.
* [[OverprotectiveDad Overprotective Big Sister]]: She got hurriedly transferred to the Secret Service after she shot her sister's abusive boyfriend in the leg.
* ShipperOnDeck: Seems to approve of Leon/Ada.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: ''Literally''. Helena's alternate outfit in the Mercenaries mode doesn't actually show that much skin, but it looks like she's about to break into a strip routine.
* WrestlerInAllOfUs: Helena can bust out an elbow drop or tilt-a-whirl slam.

!!Piers Nivans
!!!Voiced by: Christopher Emerson
A young BSAA operative serving under Special Operations Unit Alpha Team, and Chris's partner in ''[=RE6=]''.

* [[spoiler:AnArmAndALeg: Loses his right arm in the final battle. A C-virus injection gives him a new one.]]
* [[spoiler:BadassAbnormal: After becoming part-BOW.]]
* [[spoiler: BadPowersBadPeople: The apparent reason he opts for the HeroicSacrifice. He's struggling to maintain his sense of self throughout the final boss battle, and realizes that no matter how hard he's trying, the infection is slowly spreading beyond his arm. He couldn't have known, but it was probably a correct assuption: Helena's sister was infected by (presumably) the same sort of strain of the C-Virus, and she went on a rampage as soon as it took control completely.]]
* BrokenPedestal: He always dreamed about joining the army like the other men in his family, but when he did and saw his superiors treating their soldiers as expendable pawns... things changed when Chris recruited him into the BSAA.
** Subverted in his relation to Chris, as he never loses faith in him and helps him go back to what he was.
* {{Determinator}}
* EarlyBirdCameo: First appeared in the preview chapter of serialised manga ''BIOHAZARD: Marhawa Desire'', in September 2011.
** His first name was mistakenly translated there as "Beards," which caused a lot of amused reactions from Western journalists and fans.
* FriendlySniper
* [[spoiler:HeroicSacrifice]]
* TheLancer: Goes from Chris's second-in-command to Chris's conscience.
* MeaningfulName: Piers is a name of Greek origin, meaning "rock" -- fitting, since he is [[TheReliableOne Chris's rock]].
* NiceGuy: According to the files, he always has "time to offer a kind word to his fellow soldiers".
* [[spoiler:OneWingedAngel]]
* PassingTheTorch: Chris intends to have Piers as his successor, leaving him in charge of the BSAA. [[spoiler:The ending of the game ensures that this will never happen.]]
* TheReliableOne: To Chris.
* [[spoiler:RightHandOfDoom]]
* ScarfOfAsskicking
* [[spoiler:ShockAndAwe: And it can be [[ChargedAttack charged]].]]
* [[spoiler:TragicMonster: A heroic example. Especially since he remains an ally even after his transformation.]]
* WhatTheHellHero: Gives one of these to Chris about his vendetta, kamikaze-like rampants and heavy drinking and letting all of that overwhelm his sense of justice.
* WideEyedIdealist: Especially when compared to Chris. [[WordOfStPaul His VA]] comments that still being very young plays a part in his idealism.

!!Jake Muller
[[quoteright:250:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/250px-Jakemuller_6005.png]]
!!!Voiced by: TroyBaker
-->''"I want 200,000 up-front, another 200 when this is over... oh, and B.O.W.s? Those are extra."''

The mysterious third protagonist of ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil6''. Acting as a mercenary in war-torn Eastern Europe, he's apparently told that he's the "the man to save the world". Has been seen running around with [[VideoGame/ResidentEvil2 Sherry Birkin]], but other than this, as well as his being Wesker's child, almost nothing is known about him.

* [[spoiler: AdoptTheDog: Slowly starts to care, until he's genuinely trying to help Sherry save the world instead of just doing it for the money.]]
* ActionGenreHeroGuy: Has the appearance of one.
* AntiHero: Initially a [[SlidingScaleOfAntiHeroes Type IV]]; he's much more concerned about how much money he could earn with his blood rather than saving the world, [[spoiler: but by the end of the game he graduates to a Type II, becoming a much more heroic and self-sacrificing character.]]
* BadassAbnormal: Just like his father, he possesses superhuman strength, agility, and endurance. It's never specified if those are his natural abilities or he gained them when he injected himself with the C-Virus.
* BadassBiker
* HeroicBastard

* TroubledButCute: His poverty-stricken childhood and the bad experiences he's had as a mercenary have left him with some serious issues, even though he's barely out of his teens, but Sherry (and a sizable number of female fans) still seems to be attracted to him.

* ScarfOfAsskicking
* [[spoiler:TheStarscream: Carla's not exactly happy with how Simmons has been treating her.]]
* TeenGenius: Completed a doctorate course in genetics at ''fifteen''.
* UrbanLegendOfZelda: She was largely believed to be this before the game's release, to the point that "I believe in Carla Radames" became somewhat of a MemeticMutation.
* [[spoiler:VillainousBreakdown]]:[[spoiler:"Get over yourself...help me...I'm the real Ada Wong. I don't need help from anyone. My plans aren't failing...they're thriving. * ArtificialLimbs: And it has a lot of accessories for it.
** ArmCannon / GatlingGood
** EpicFlail
** FinalBoss: For Jake and Sherry.
** PlayingWithSyringes
** ThisIsADrill
** WolverineClaws
* AttackItsWeakPoint: Its only vulnerable point is its oversized heart. Takes alot of damage for it to be vulnerable itself though.
* BlondGuysAreEvil: While only tufts of hair on his head, they're still there.
* '''{{Determinator}}''': Just like his [[ResidentEvil3 predecessor]], he doesn't know when or how to quit. Once you have been targeted you are as good as dead, unless you are a BadAss like our heroes/heroines.
* TheDragon: To Carla
** DragonTheirFeet: Continues its mission [[spoiler:in spite of her death]].
* DumbMuscle: Subverted; despite its inhumanity, it keeps an impressive level of intelligence. It's capable of using and adapting its equipment to the task at hand and will wise up to Jake and Sherry's stealth tactics if they futz up too much. In fact, one file mentions the C-Virus may have actually ''increased'' its intelligence as a side effect.
* IJustWantToBeBadass: If one of the files really is his diary entry just before being injected, all he once dreamed of was being reborn as a super powered being.
* ImplacableMan
* LightningBruiser
* MookMaker: Creates the Oko creatures from an organ on its back. They function as a EnemySummoner for it.
* RecurringBoss: Hounds Jake from beginning to end and even has a round with Leon and Helena.
* TranquilFury: [[spoiler:After Carla's death]], a file mentions it may have this or sadness.
* UndyingLoyalty: A file mentions it has this towards Carla.
* WhyWontYouDie: Ada asks this about it after the second encounter with Jake and Sherry.
** [[spoiler: Seriously it has a number of things falls on it, gets blown up multiple times, got a freaking drill pushed into it. Even knocking it into the lava doesn't fully kill the thing. !!Haos
The ultimate creation of Carla designed to infect the world.

* AdvancingBossOfDoom: The first couple of stages just consist of running from the thing.
* TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt: Designed to do this, though it was awakened too early to be fully active, and is killed before it can carry out its mission.
* FinalBoss: Of Chris's campaign.
* HealingFactor: Regenerates from being blown in half a few times over the course of the battle.
* ImplacableMan: Takes multiple rounds of fire and battles to take down. [[spoiler:And even then it only dies from Piers's final attack and the base explosion.]]
* InformedAbility: Possesses no attacks that suggest its capable of spreading infection. Though it may be justified in it being incomplete.
* SequentialBoss: Has about five stages to him.
