[[spoiler: During the attack of the dragons, he amazingly rises to the occasion, defends Nyx from the Diamond Dogs, helps Spike by guiding him when he's blinded, and becomes like him a Crystal Champion.]] At the end, he moves to Ponyville.

[[spoiler:As of Chapter 24, he finally told Celestia what he felt about her, and one chapter later, Celestia and Triton are officially dating with further relationship possible.]]

* ObliviousToLove: It took Luna smashing his head with a potted plant and shouting it out loud for him to realize that Celestia did really have feelings for him.

!The Council of Celestial Stewards
A group of beings responsible for maintaining the various aspects of the world. Their numbers include:

* Princesses Celestia and Luna (Alicorn) - co-rulers of Equestria; control the sun and moon, respectively (a duty once held by the unicorns).
* King Triton (Hippocampus) - ruler of Atlantis; controls the ocean currents and tides (though he follows the moon's lead for the latter).
* High Emperor Eagle-Cobra (High Gryphon) - leader of the immortals of the Gryphon Kingdom, or Gryphonia (not to be confused with the elected High King rules the mortal clans); controls the high winds and jet streams (the air currents of the upper atmosphere).
* Emperor Zheng He (Ki Rin) - ruler of Neighpon; controls the magnetosphere (the electromagnetic field that surrounds the planet), including the auroras.
* Iormungand (northern serpent) - ruler of the frozen north; controls the North Star and guards Niflheim (a prison realm much like Tartarus).
* The Firebird (archetypical bird) - in charge of bird migrations. For the current gathering, he serves as Chair-being.
* Pelé (dragon) - oversees the movement of the tectonic plates (and by extension earthquakes and volcanos).
* The Treant - a tree-like creature that speaks for the forests.
* ? - a "creature that seemed like a cross between a squid and a party balloon" that speaks for the ozone layer.
* ? - a "thing of snow crystals and frost" with glittering wings that speaks of the icepack on the mountains.
* At least fourteen more (to match the twenty-four Cosmic Synchronizers that were to be built).

Cherry Blossom is a Unicorn, White Dove is a Pegasus, and Snowcap is an Earth pony.]]

Prince Blueblood's father, tries to con Twilight into a marriage contract with [[RoyalBrat his son]].
