* BitchInSheepsClothing: Publicly, he's a good friend to Willow Schnee, a well-respected chairman of the board, and an uncle figure to Weiss and Winter. Privately, he's a heartless sociopath directly responsible for the death of THOUSANDS of innocent Faunus, as well as the guy who indirectly turned Adam Taurus into a fanatical Knight Templar obsessed with destroying humanity.

* DirtyCoward: Gives up his stockpiles of money, dust and other resources to Salem purely to save his own skin.

* HateSink: He only appears in one chapter, but he stands out as one of the single most loathsome people in the story; even leaving aside the countless deaths he caused his true nature (once he drop the charm) is that of a slimy manipulative sociopath who looks down on everyone. When confronted with an audio recording that his secretary kept (Which proved his role in the Ausz Mountain Massacre) his only response is to annoyedly refer to her as a "worthless bitch" that he should have killed years ago. It's saying something that ADAM of all people actually looks sympathetic in comparison.

* SmallRoleBigImpact: The man appeares in one chapter, but the fact that he engineered the Ausz Mountain Massacre means that he's ultimately the one responsible for Adam Taurus becoming a monster. This in turn makes him indirectly responsible for pretty much every one of Adam's atrocities from his abuse of Blake to the attack on Beacon.
* TheDogBitesBack: How he's ultimately exposed. He bullied his secretary into destroying evidence by threatening her child, but because she didn't want him to get away she secretly preserved evidence. When she's mortally wounded in the attack on Atlas, she finally sends a message to Willow begging him to do the right thing. Since Willow has undergone CharacterDevelopment he actually does so.

* ThisCannotBe: When the cuffs are placed on him he devolves into a raving madman, unable to conceive of the fact that he's actually being punished for his crimes. He also has one right before the Son of Salem kills him.
