Third Sphinx-like spirit that is seemingly in league with the Sphinxes of Games and Truth.

* AntiMagic: Seems to have this power, his presence alone suppresses his siblings reality warping powers while hes around.

* NoNameGiven: He has yet to be named.

* AmbiguousGender: Calls itself a goddess, but is referred to using 'it' pronouns by the narration.

* DemonicPossession: It is the only spirit we have seen--whether in a Tool or a medium--capable of overriding its spectral completely. Max isn't even aware of what happened when it gives up control again. [[spoiler:It's implied this might be possible because of its unique power relating to binding oaths and promises, as well as the fact it is apparently bound to [[GuardianAngel protect Max]] in some fashion, allowing it to assume control in order to fulfil its oath]].

* MagicallyBindingContract: [[spoiler: Its powers are hinted to be linked to these. Both times it appears or has been hinted at are when Max is asked to make a promise, and a contract-themed item is the result of copying a sliver of its power. When it actually appears, its tail is a pen-shaped quill and it offhandedly mentions oaths binding it like a leash.]]

* NoSenseOfHumor: It says "I didn't end up with the sense of humor." Presumably a different piece of the broken god has it.

* AmazinglyEmbarrassingParents: At the PTA meeting, Davy performs a few karaoke songs for a massive crowd, including a "subtly bisexual rendition of ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man"". [[spoiler:Cody, who spots this while trying to sneaking in, puts on an [[TheUnsmile unsmile]] and [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere immediately marches out of the room as fast as he can]]]].

The King of Corpses, Saint of Skeletons, Reaper Regent, Shadow Secretary of the PTA and a figure worshiped by the Death Cult, maybe a leader if not ''the'' leader. Her aim is to kill death itself, removing its blight from the world.

A formal man who wears a gorilla-skull mask. He is a medium to a spirit named Mister Sun and uses a pair of Doctopi as his boxing gloves.

* AnimalMotifs: Gorillas. His name is Ape, his mask is a gorilla skull, and he's a big, hulking fist-fighter.

* CallingYourAttacks: Subverted and parodied. Her announcing attack names cause Crush to go on guard but the first time is a fake out and the second time, the attack isn't hers.

A trio of unnamed, very nasty, very ''wrong''-looking spirits who apparently cannot die.

* AnimalisticAbomination: These things look like (for a certain definition) dogs, but under their fur is something truly horrifying.
* BlackSpeech: They speak nothing ''but'' cursed words. Since a spirit learns one word for every atrocity they commit, it means we are dealing with some very nasty customers here.
* BodyHorror:
** When Isabel cuts one in half, it has teeth all the way down. And their fur is apparently just a removable cover for the nightmare within.
** She later [[TeleFrag tele-frags]] two of them by forcing one to respawn through the body of the other, putting them in an endless loop of dying and coming back. [[http://www.paranatural.net/comic/chapter-4-page-148 Here's where they are now.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: They are some of the most disturbing spirits in terms of appearance and it quickly becomes apparent that they are not just comedic, harmless villains, being dangerous monsters with some kind of agenda. [[spoiler:In their fight with Isabel, she's forced to sacrifice Eightfold to save Max]] and afterward, the series begins a gradual shift to darker and heavier content.
* ManipulativeBastard: They provoke Forge into throwing away his largest source of metal, preventing him from creating a usable door into Mayview. They then trick Spender and Forge into fighting each other (for some reason) and take advantage of Spender's absence to try to kill the kids.
* OverlyLongTongue: One of the pixhellhounds [[http://www.paranatural.net/comic/chapter-4-page-45 strikes the barrier with it]] in order to provoke Forge. Another grabs Isabel's book with it.
* NestedMouths: [[http://www.paranatural.net/comic/chapter-4-page-110 It gets worse.]]
* NightmareFace: [[http://www.paranatural.net/comic/chapter-4-page-124 ARGH PLEASE PULL THOSE BACK DOWN]]
* ResurrectiveImmortality: For most spirits, doing enough damage to them destroys their bodies and forces them to possess an object until they absorb enough energy to regenerate. The Pixhellhounds, on the other hand? Destroying them is rather easy. The problem is they keep coming ''back'' so quickly that the fandom has started calling it 'respawning.'
* ShoutOut: As confirmed in the comments section of the webcomic, their (exterior) design is based on the jet-back and nearly featureless monsters from ''Film/AttackTheBlock''.
* {{Troll}}: After Isabel mentions that she doesn't like dogs, they start barking and meowing to mess with her and psych her out while peeling their fur off.
* WouldHurtAChild: One of the Pixhellhounds instructs the others explicitly to kill Max and Isabel. Later on, one of them manages to kick Max out of the underground, runaway train and another takes a big bite out of Isabel's shoulder.

A diminutive spirit that follows around Brother Ape and Sister Cat.

* BlackSpeech: They're capable of translating the cursed words of the vile spirits, acting as the translator for Ape and Cat. That said, whatever the Mandrake itself ''says'' is never shown clearly, with only the reactions of those it's talking to indicating what it said, making it unclear what its normal speech is like.
* ForcedTransformation: Is capable of transforming others into objects, as demonstrated with Crush being turned into a 3rd place trophy.
* PaperTalisman: Has one attached to their forehead.
* SupportPartyMember: It somewhat shares the role with Sister Cat, as it acts as a translator for dealing with spirits like the Pixelhounds who only converse in BlackSpeech, and due to Sister Cat's non-spectral nature (barring loopholes through Razor Rex's power) it's the only means she has of launching attacks on spiritual entities. That said, the fact it favours ambush tactics whilst Cat acts as a massive distraction also indicates it's no frontline fighter.

A very cheerful sun-shaped spirit partnered with Ape. Fueled by [[EmotionalPowers feelings of joy]], it appears to be capable of some sort of SuperEmpowering.

* AmbiguousGender: It has a gendered title but is exclusively referred to with 'it' pronouns by the narration.
* EmotionalPowers: Its powers are linked to happiness, although not necessarily its user's happiness. It can't tell between the emotional state of its user and the emotional state of something in contact with its user - in this case, the happy doctopi attached to the put-off Ape.
* EndlessDaytime: It's always daytime in its spirit realm. Makes sense, since it's Mister Sun, so it'll always be brightening up its own home.
* EverythingsBetterWithRainbows: Its empowerment adds rainbows to Ape's attacks, along with flowers, stars, and other cutesy elements. Rainbows are also part of its design and present in its spirit realm.
* ExcitedKidsShowHost: An exaggerated parody of one. The first thing it does when summoned is belt out a song like a "recurring segment on a grating children's show" and apparently it does this ''every single time'' Ape calls upon it.
* ForHappiness: Absolutely ecstatic that his partner is happy (he isn't) and talks at length about spreading some joy. EVERYTHING'S better with a little bit of '''CHEER'''.
* NoInsideVoice: Its dialogue is bolded and frequently shifts into all-caps.
* RainbowLite: One of its eyebrows and some of its whiskers for a red-yellow-blue rainbow. This does not apply to the rainbows that appear in its spirit realm and as a part of its powers.
* SickeninglySweet: It is absolutely over-the-top with its loud, peppy personality and associated rainbows, butterflies, flowers, stars, and all other kinds of tooth-rotting imagery, making its spirit realm a SugarBowl. Ape cannot stand it, so he has to use happy doctopi as a substitute for channeling it.
* StylisticSuck: Its spirit realm is just the current environment changed into the style of a child's crayon drawing, becoming completely at odds with Ape's dark and intimidating appearance.
* SuperEmpowering: Able to augment whatever Ape wants by "cheering". Cheering on Ape's muscles allows him to shatter Crush's armor and launch him into the woods.

* TeamNormal: She's not a Spectral, though Razor Rex can "lend" her the ability to see or hear (or both) spirits. Since she's not a Spectral, [[NoSell Crush's attack phases harmlessly through her.]]
