Formed from the ashes of a {{Yakuza}} group, Akan Yatsura is a team of five people who's unity transcends all else. The group create exciting songs with diverse rap styles that draw from a number of genres to get the audience involved.

* FamilyOfChoice: Expanded deeper in the ''FAMILY'' tracks, where each of the members have their own baggage related to their blood-related families and eventually realized that the Suiseki group and Akan Yatsura has been more of a family than their real families will ever be.

* OddOneOut: Fitting with their traditional theme, Akan Yatsura is the only group with Japanese song titles.

* SecretKeeper: Along with Kanata, Hajun, and [[spoiler:the real Nayuta]], Iori and Zen are one of the members from the original main cast who know about [[spoiler:the side effects of the Phantometals besides the trap reactions]]. The two of them head investigations with the help of [[spoiler:Kanata, and even try enlisting Hajun to work together with them]]. They are determined to keep this a secret from the other members of Akan Yatsura to protect them, but [[spoiler:turns out the three already deducted this from observing the older two.]]
* SurvivorGuilt: The Suiseki group was annihilated two years prior to the main story, with the Akan Yatsura members surviving due to being out during the time it happened. Even in the present day, the younger ones are especially shaken up at the events that occurred and their inability to save any of their family members.
* ThemeNaming: All of their songs have English titles in capitalized letters with a subtitle that includes the group name Akan Yatsura. The exclusions are:
** "EMPEROR - WE ON FIRE!! -", which does not include Akan Yatsura in the subtitle. This is a collaboration song with Music/KodaKumi.

The leader of Akan Yatsura. Always smiling, he has an affable personality, but his true intentions are hard to read. He cares for his group members as if they were his own family, and is determined to make a place for them all.

* AFatherToHisMen: Views Akan Yatsura as an actual family instead of being just a {{Yakuza}} gang, and it's clear that the feeling's mutual with the rest of the team. It's also notable that he was the one who picked up Hokusai, Reo, and Satsuki, and gave the three a home in the Suiseki group.

* TheBartender: He owns CLUB CANDY, where the Akan Yatsura members are employees, while Anne (and at a time, Allen) works part-time.
* FirstNameBasis: He calls the Akan Yatsura members with their first names.

* TheLeader: Of Akan Yatsura, both as an {{Yakuza}} gang and as a rap group.

* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Not just within Akan Yatsura, but also to the younger members of other groups, notably cozmez.

* TeamDad: To Akan Yatsura, but also extends his concern to cozmez, even though Kanata won't admit his gratitude outright.

Powerfully built, straightforward, and passionate. Not too great at reading the room, but he maintains order among Akan Yatsura. He used to be a police officer, but for his own reasons, he ended up working with the Suiseki group.

* RealMenCanCook: He is the one who prepares the daily meals for Akan Yatsura.

A mysterious young man who was forced to live a lonely youth after his father was imprisoned. During a wild brawl, Iori Suiseki rescued him and he joined Akan Yatsura. Although often misunderstood, he has a kind and gentle personality.

* ParentalAbandonment: His parents abandoned him for being too wild. Iori and the rest of Akan Yatsura picked him up and taught him the things his parents didn't, so he refers to them as his family instead.

* TheBabyOfTheBunch: Is the youngest member of Akan Yatsura.
