* AdaptationalAngstDowngrade: Because Shunjin Academy staff were much more competent in dealing with Kamoshida's abuses, Ryuji doesn't have as much emotional baggage as his canon counterpart. His relationships with the Phantom Thieves, especially [[JerkassToOne Morgana]], are also less rife with tension due to AdaptationalNiceguy being applied on all sides.
