[[folder:Bob]]
!!Bob Yellow

One of the main characters. Bob was visited one day by Susie, a ghost girl, who initially planned to kill him until he responded with feeding her, forming a friendship between the two.
----
* DarkAndTroubledPast: His father was neglectful and abusive, putting down his interests and being generally overbearing.
* HulkingOut: Has moments where he becomes gargantuan and extremely strong, typically when annoyed.
* IAmNotMyFather: In sharp contrast to his father, Bob is a very loving and kind individual.
* JerkassToOne: Probably the only character Bob is outright hostile towards is the Fly.
* LethalCook: He's not a ''bad'' chef, but he has a bad habit of adding things to his cooking that completely ruin the dish, like a single drop of wine that managed to burn his entire steak dinner.
* RenaissanceMan: He can draw, cook, and clean. Sadly, the antics he gets into usually ruin the fruits of his labor.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: When HulkingOut, he greatly resembles his father, who looks like that by default.
* UnexpectedKindness: A staple of the series' humor comes from Bob appearing ready to assault someone, usually Susie, until it's revealed that he's doing something completely benevolent and kind.
* YourSizeMayVary: Generally, Bob seems very small and spindly, but there are moments where he will become huge and muscular, much like his father.

[[folder:Susie]]

The eponymous ghost friend. Susie is introduced to Bob when she tries to kill him, but he manages to get the upper hand, deciding to feed her. This leads to them befriending each other.
----
* CreepyChild: Being a little ghost girl who initially wanted to stab Bob to death, and has a habit of appearing ominously with a knife in her hand.
* CuteGhostGirl: She was already cute from the start, but the following shorts humanizing her definitely help.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: She died very young, and when reminded of this, she starts to cry.
* PrecociousCrush: It seems she has feelings for Bob, but being a little girl (and a ghost, of course), they aren't compatible.
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: She may be a ghost now, but she's still a little girl, so many things still scare her, and she bursts into tears being reminded of her human life.
* UnexpectedKindness: After her debut appearance, a RunningGag of hers is appearing behind someone, usually Bob, brandishing a knife, until it's revealed that she actually plans to do something nice, including using her knife to prepare some food.
* WhenSheSmiles: Bob has a habit of making her smile with his kindness.
