The Profile can observe someone and reduce them to data in his mind. With that data, he can reconstruct their past in minute detail, determine character traits, as well as predict their future actions accurately (beyond the ninetieth percentile). This manifests either as pictures scrawled around the person he is "profiling", or words floating around them which describe the person's personality. The Profiles ability works on both humans and superhumans alike. However, the Profile appears to not be immune to his own power, nor do his powers work on extra-dimensional beings (like Khonshu), something which has been exploited by Moon Knight on several occasions.

* CombatMedic: In addition to being a skilled doctor, Badr is a Fist of Khonshu. He's an expert hand-to-hand combatant and a near equal to Marc, getting the better of him in their first encounter but later being beaten by Marc's pragmatism.

The ''left'' Fist of Khonshu. An Egyptian doctor, Dr. Badr was attacked by a group of vampires one night. Left for dead, he underwent the same experience as Marc Spector did and was resurrected as the Hunter's Moon. Disapproving of his "brother's" methods and disregard towards their god, Hunter's Moon originally sought to punish him for his weakness. But circumstances eventually convinced him to reevaluate his views and he has since turned himself around to be Moon Knight's ally, even if the two admittedly don't like each other.

* AllianceWithAnAbomination: Rather than take the traditional step of either getting in one of Marvel's magical heroes like ComicBook/DoctorStrange to banish it back to its own dimension, or the mundane alternative of blowing it up with copious amounts of explosives, Moon Knight talks to it and offers it a deal. If it agrees to stop kidnapping, then Moon Knight will use it as his new Midnight Mansion, living in it as if it were any house. This is deemed acceptable by the House of Shadows.

* IHaveManyNames: Whilst it's primarily known as the House of Shadows, it's also been referred to as the Dweller in Shadows, the Haunted House, the House and even The Condo of Shadows. After allying itself with Moon Knight, it takes a new name: the Midnight Mansion.
* PoorCommunicationKills: The House of Shadows never really wanted to ''hurt'' people, instead just wanting to be used and being curious about humans. However, its alien nature made it unaware of human vulnerabilities, and it also took offense when people kept trying to run away from or hurt it.
* RealityWarper: Within the confines of its interior, the House of Shadows has tremendous control over reality. It can create and remove objects as needed, move objects through telekinesis, adjust its internal dimensions and external dimensions as it sees fit, re-orientate gravity, restructure its layout to create and remove rooms where and when it wants, erect a forcefield to shield itself from harm or trap beings inside, and even create eyes and manipulator appendages from its own mass.

!!The House of Shadows/Dweller in Shadows/Midnight Mission
!!!'''First Appearance:''' ''Strange Tales'' #120 (February, 1964)

The House of Shadows is a living building (or possibly an architecture-haunting spirit) from another dimension, first encountered by ComicBook/DoctorStrange in the form of reputedly haunted old cottage on the outskirts of New York City. The House attempted to abduct a TV reporter which tried to investigate the cottage, which drew the attention of Doctor Strange, who freed the reporter and banished the House back to its own dimension. It subsequently returned and was encountered by ComicBook/RomSpaceKnight; attempting to take ROM's human companions Steve Jackson and Brandy Clark prisoner, ROM battled the spirit and was mentally contacted by Dr. Strange, who advised the Space Knight to use his Neutralizer to banish the House of Shadows once more. It returned to Earth yet again by possessing a condominium and sculpting itself into a new floor; when it began abducting the residents, this once more drew Dr. Strange's attention, and he sent his disciple Rintrah to banish it. It manifested again and came into the possession of the zombie serial killer Digger, who eventually sold it. Finally, it came to manifest in New York as an extra floor in an apartment building, whereupon it came to the attention of Moon Knight. However, rather than banishing it, Moon Knight offered to accept the House of Shadows as an ally and even live in it, if it would promise to stop attempting to take occupants by force. Grateful for the offer, the House agreed and became Moon Knight's new Midnight Mansion.

Marlene Alraune was the daughter of Doctor Peter Alraune, Sr., a noted archaeologist. At an early age she married Eric Jules Fontaine, but their marriage lasted only a brief time. She joined her father on an archeological dig in the Sudan where they discovered the tomb of Pharaoh Seti III, which housed the statue of Khonshu. Their site was discovered and ransacked by Raoul Bushman and his mercenaries, one of whom was Marc Spector, who tried to defend the archeologists.

Her father killed in the struggle, Marlene brought Marc to the foot of the statue of Khonshu in desperation, where he was miraculously healed. After defeating Bushman in a rematch, Marc brought Marlene back to America where she became his trusted confidant. Falling somewhat in love with Spector, Marlene served as one of Moon Knight's agents, training in martial arts and other techniques to become a capable spy. She fell in love with the Steven Grant identity, and found it hard to separate Marc from Steven.

Marlene was always worried about Marc losing track of himself in his different personas, and encouraged him to seek help about them. After a string of fights, Marlene gave Marc an ultimatum: her or Moon Knight. He chose Moon Knight, and she left him. Years later, after becoming a social worker, Marlene checked in on Marc only to discover him a crippled wreck, prompting her to return in order to help him get well again.

The Profile is able to observe someone and reduce them to data in his mind. With that data, he can reconstruct their past in minute detail, determine character traits, as well as predict their future actions accurately (beyond the ninetieth percentile). This manifests either as pictures scrawled around the person he is "profiling", or words floating around them which describe the person's personality. The Profiles ability works on human and superhuman alike. However, the Profile appears to not be immune to his own power, nor do his powers work on extra-dimensional beings (like Khonshu), something which has been exploited by Moon Knight on a number of occasions.

* ManipulativeBastard: He is this, doing it to help Moon Knight or his own personal gain. He manipulated Carson Knowles, the Black Spectre, after Knowles was released from prison. He simply mentions to Knowles, at a museum showcasing armor, that knights were given love from those they saved. This ultimately led Knowles jumping to his death, something the Profile probably knew would ultimately happen.

Bertrand Crawley was a homeless man living in New York City, where he frequented Gena's Diner. Having a natural flair for the dramatic, Crawley often behaved as if he were a member of the British aristocracy as opposed to a man living on the streets. Crawley used to have a wife and son, and a nine-to-five job, but due to his alcoholism lost all of them. Since then, Crawley has served as one of Moon knights must trusted informants.

* HiddenDepths: He often acts like a fool, but also provides wisdom and insight into others matters.

* MyGreatestFailure: Part of his backstory is he left his wife and child due to his job, and became an alcoholic and never saw them again. His wife died alone at some point and his son became a serial killer, the Slasher. Crawley blames himself for leaving in the first place, and assists Moon Knight to repent for his actions.
* UndyingLoyalty: Of all of Marc's associates, Crawley is the one who never gave up on him, no matter how much Marc pushes him away.

Gena Landers ran a diner in Brooklyn, New York with her two sons, Ray and Ricky. A long time friend of Crawley, through him she met cabbie Jake Lockley. After learning that Jake was really the superhero Moon Knight, she became an informant for him, receiving a handsome payment which she used to help her sons through school. A kind and loving woman most of the time, she is not afraid to call out Jake or Moon Knight on their actions and often harmful consequences, serving as a much needed dose of reality for the hero.

Jean-Paul "Frenchie" Du Champ was a French pilot who became a soldier of fortune in Africa where he met and befriended fellow mercenary Marc Spector. After becoming Moon Knight, Spector contacted Frenchie and hired him on as the pilot of the Moon Copter. Frenchie would end up working in close tandem with Moon Knight on missions for many years, serving as his de facto partner for many adventures. In their time together, Frenchie had developed feelings for his old friend, something which Marc was completely oblivious to.

As the years went on, Frenchie became more disillusioned with the adventuring lifestyle, and with his friend Marc Spector as well. After loosing his legs on a mission, Frenchie retired from the adventuring business for good and opened a restaurant, where he met his future husband and personal trainer Rob Silverman.

Ray and his brother made good money working for Moon Knight, and enjoyed the adventure and excitement working for him brought, despite their mother's frequent objections. After a number of close call's, however, it became clear to Moon Knight that his line of work was too dangerous for children, and he relieved Ray from duty.

After Moon Knight briefly retired, Ray joined the Armed Forces with his brother, serving a tour in Afghanistan. Returning from duty, Ray was contacted by Moon Knight again, this time to serve as the new pilot of the Moon Copter. He accepted, but the team-up proved to be contentious as Ray felt he wasn't getting the same level of respect as Moon Knights previous partner, Frenchie.
