Ling is the first of the Great Dragon's disciples. Back then, he was always the better fighter compared to the newcomer Zilong. And yet, Ling was not chosen to be the inheritor, and instead it was Zilong who was chosen. Frustrated, Ling left the Dragon Altar and eventually enlisted to the assassin group, Finch. With his pure skills and aptitude, he earned the title "Cyan Finch", given only to the best assassin of the group. Eventually, he is hired by a certain Yu Zhong to assault the Dragon Altar; a task Ling accepts based on his grudge. He duels Zilong to a tie, but eventually is reminded of his good times as friends and Zilong's kind heart makes him bury the hatchet and rejoin the Great Dragon, now realizing that Yu Zhong is just using him and his Finch to reclaim the reverse scale of the Black Dragon. Even after Yu Zhong escapes, Ling now stays in his original home as one of the Oriental Fighters to prepare for Yu Zhong's next assault.

She even told the clan leader to hide her brutal job from the innocent Selena. As time passed, Selena grew more curious and snuck out of home out of concern of Karina's increasingly dangerous job that she came home battered and bruised. She was attacked by demons and Karina was forced to reveal her job, slaying the demons to protect her. Selena innocently decided to grow strong to be on the same level as Karina, so she asked for training by the clan leader. However, the clan leader has been thoroughly corrupted by the Shadow Abyss, so he instead offered her as a sacrifice to the Lord of Abyss. Karina was too late to prevent her sister's corruption and was driven away by her own sister. Now, Karina wanders the Land of Despair, killing all demons she can find as vengeance to what happened to her sister. Karina is an Assassin hero specializing in refreshing her skills so she can continuously slice and dice her targets until none remains.

While cold to everyone, Karina was warm-hearted to Selena and saw her as the only comfort in her cruel life; she always needed a place to go back home to. She even told the clan leader to hide her brutal job from the innocent Selena. As time passed, Selena grew more curious and snuck out of home out of concern of Karina's increasingly dangerous job that she came home battered and bruised. She was attacked by demons and Karina was forced to reveal her job, slaying the demons to protect her. Selena innocently decided to grow strong to be on the same level as Karina, so she asked for training by the clan leader. However, the clan leader has been thoroughly corrupted by the Shadow Abyss, so he instead offered her as a sacrifice to the Lord of Abyss. Karina was too late to prevent her sister's corruption and was driven away by her own sister. Now, Karina wanders the Land of Despair, killing all demons she can find as vengeance to what happened to her sister. She hopes to grow even stronger, that one day she will rescue her sister from the darkness she has gotten into.\\\
Karina is an Assassin hero specializing in refreshing her skills so she can continuously slice and dice her targets until none remains.
* Her passive is ''Shadow Combo''. If Karina hits the same target three times, the third strike deals bonus true damage scaling with the enemy's lost HP (and a flat number). If she does this to an enemy hero, her non-ultimate skills have their cooldowns reduced.

* HighlyVisibleNinja: Subverted. He wears a black outfit, keeps his spiky hair on the loose, and does not have an invisibility skill. However, Hayabusa at least makes an effort to trick his enemies into thinking he's never there, thanks to his shadow clones and excelling in hit and run tactics. He also cannot be targeted when he's using his ult.

* LoveTriangle: He's on top of the triangle between Kagura and Hanabi. Since Hanabi generally puts up a cold front on him while Kagura openly shows her support for him, Hayabusa's [[OfficialCouple official winner]] is Kagura.
* {{Ninja}}: Looking at his design, weaponry, fighting style, and story, there is no doubt that Hayabusa ''is'' a ninja.
* RescueRomance: Hayabusa's friendship and eventual blooming romance with Kagura started when he attempted to save her after slipping from a tree. While the Seimei Umbrella activating assisted him in choosing Kagura, his efforts were not in vain, and they became childhood friends and eventually lovers.
* ShoutOut: He is meant to be a homage to one of video games' most famous ninjas, [[VideoGame/NinjaGaiden Ryu Hayabusa]]. At least the Hayabusa over here at least makes an effort to be less visible.
