Unlike fellow original concept villain Mr. Pigeon, Mime's appeared in many fewer episodes.

* AntiVillain: Evillustrator only wants to get revenge on [[AlphaBitch Chloé]], who quite frankly deserves it; and date Marinette, and he uses no lethal force until she betrays him.

* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: While Ladybug and Cat Noir's first battle against him was an impressive high-stakes fight like with most other villains, by the time he gets akumatized for the ''23rd'' time in "Timetagger", the heroes activate their powers half-heartedly and take him down in less than ''10 seconds''. Even the observing crowd doesn’t seem to be scared of him. And Ladybug comments that they beat him quickly all the previous times they fought him, too.

Even the observing crowd seems to be tired of it.

* MinionWithAnFInEvil: All he wants is to get revenge on Chloé for being a bully, and date Marinette, and he's perfectly willing to give up on his revenge plan when she asks him to.

* WhyDontYouJustShootHim: One has to wonder why he resorted to attacking Chloé with buzz saws when he could've just straight-up erased her from existence on the spot.

* SensualSpandex: That rollerskating outfit of hers is really, really tight over her body.

* AffablyEvil: Evillustrator is downright nice as far as Akuma go: rather than abusing his powers on the innocent and [[CardCarryingVillain reveling in his newfound evilness]] as other Akuma are wont to do, Evillustrator initially focuses on Chloé, who had been the one to humiliate him. Once Marinette offers to go on a date with him to distract him, Evillustrator accepts her offer and spares Chloé, uses his powers to create a perfect romantic setting, and carries on a civil conversation with Marinette. Not even Hawk Moth threatening him is enough to make him do his will. It's only when he realizes he's been duped that he snaps and becomes your standard evil Akuma.

* AntiVillain: Evillustrator only wants to go on a date with Marinette, and he uses no lethal force until she betrays him to Cat Noir.

* ArtInitiatesLife: One of his main abilities. He can turn his drawings into real, moving objects.
* DeathbringerTheAdorable: Despite the name, he's among the nicest, if not the nicest villain in the show.

* EtTuBrute: His reaction when Marinette steals his stylus and reveals that Cat Noir was watching their date.

* LoveMakesYouEvil: He became the Evillustrator as a result of being teased about his [[HopelessSuitor one-sided crush]] on Marinette.
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: All he wants is for Marinette to like him, and he's perfectly willing to give up on doing any evil when she asks.
* RealityWarper: Can draw anything into, and/or erase anything out of, existence.

* StalkerWithACrush: He enters Marinette's room without permission to ask her on a date.
* StalkerWithoutACrush: He pursues Chloé first, intent on using his powers to humiliate her after she did the same to him. As soon as he's immobilized Cat Noir and Marinette, he goes straight to her home to continue.
* ThenLetMeBeEvil: Unlike the other Akumatized villains he has no villainous agenda other than getting revenge on Chloé, which he quickly drops once Marinette asks him to and agrees to go on a date with him. However, once he finds out that Marinette only agreed to the date to help Cat Noir get his Akuma, he promptly gives up on trying to be good for her and continues his RoaringRampageOfRevenge on Chloé.

* WrongGenreSavvy: Considers himself the real hero while Chloé is the villain. He's wrong on both counts.
* YouMonster: PlayedForLaughs. Chloé calls him a monster when he deletes some of her stuff to find her.
