* BigBrotherMentor: To Billy, to a certain extent. He starts teaching Billy more martial arts so he can defend himself better without morphing. This is ironic considering Austin St. John and David Yost were the youngest and oldest of the main cast respectively.

* BoisterousBruiser: Especially when morphed, he gets particularly loud and "in your face" when taunting and gloating at monsters especially Goldar.

* BigEater: Eats, and talks about food, more than his predecessor. "A Ranger Catastrophe" probably has the most notable example.

* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: Usually, Bulk treats Skull like nothing more than a minion in his rather stupid schemes, insulting him frequently. But they do show genuine affection to each other at times. A notable moment is during Power Rangers Zeo, in which Bulk initially dismisses classic music as something for dweebs, not knowing Skull is secretly a practiced pianist. Once the truth is out and Skull plays before an audience, Bulk freely admits he was wrong about classic music and openly admires his friend for playing so well.

* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: After her lone appearance in "Goldar's Vice-Versa" during Season 2, Scorpina was never seen again. Saban couldn't keep a full-time actress for her character and so she was dropped.[[note]]Though there were plans to include her as one of the many villains in the un-produced ''Hexagon'', which was intended to be the 11th season of Power Rangers. ''WebVideo/PowerRangersHyperforce'' finally clarifies her fate: she became disgruntled taking orders from Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa and wanted a chance to destroy the Power Rangers herself. She was unaffected by the Z-Wave as a result, and is still at large.[[/note]]
