* TokenGoodTeammate: Of The scion empire, she may be the only person there that isn't a terrible person. The Wolves' Bane side series focusing on her shows she isn't the only one, but they're definitely few and far between in Scion.

AGodAmI: He has a severe god complex and loves controlling people, and his goal appears to be ruler of Griva as a GodEmperor. [[spoiler: Technically by the game's cosmology he is a god, too.]]
BadBoss: He's not particularly pleasant to those who fail him, having used mind control to make one minion stab themselves after failing in one of his plots.
EvilChancellor: Initially, this is what his role is in Scion. He has the Emperor's ear and encourages him to have Scion try to conquer weaker countries in Griva. He also encourages and emboldens the corruption of Scion's highly corrupt aristocracy, allowing him to more easily get away with his own sinister plans.
GodsHandsAreTied: Averted and Inverted. [[spoiler: There are cosmic rules that are supposed to prevent him from unduly getting involved in human affairs. He breaks these regulations and it causes a SerialEscalation in the series once he does by getting the others involved.]]
TheManBehindTheMan: At least before he gets more directly involved, it turns out he was masterminding several of the series villainous plots, albeit indirectly. He has a large role in turning Scion into a corrupt, aggressive nation that threatens their neighbors. He was the one who masterminded a plot to kidnap Princess Aria to force Ferros into a war. He's also behind the [[spoiler:Eden project, of which Eva is a product of, and a lot of Eva's actions are her trying to get out from Draziel's control.]] He does have a good reason for at least trying to stay in the background, as him not doing so would [[spoiler:break the cosmic rules on gods in this setting, which he eventually does.]]
