The brother of Jeffrey Ridgway Sr. and uncle of Jesse and Jeffrey Jr. First introduced as a major appearance in the Psycho Series/Jesse's Vlogs in "MEET PSYCHO DAD'S BROTHER". Like Jeffrey Sr. does not hold any high opinions to Jesse's career choice in Website/YouTube
* AbusiveParents: More like an abusive relative. Even threatened Jesse that he'd strangle him for triggering his HairTriggerTemper if he wasn't his nephew.
* BigBad: Oh so very much, for the Farm series.
* BadBoss: Oh so much, even going as so far as physically assaulting Jesse by tossing dirt at Jesse and grabbing him, pinning him to a door post after getting caught filming. While Anita the farm owner is the top boss of the farm, Chris is the ultimate authority for Jesse.
* TheBrute: Much heavier and pudgier than his brother and is even willing to get physical with people.
* TheDragon: Would be considered one, especially given that Jeffrey Sr. is still the series' GreaterScopeVillain.
* TheDreaded: Even Jesse himself said that he and his Uncle Chris don't get along and was not looking forward to working for him.
* EnemyMine: While still antagonistic by nature, in "REAP WHAT YOU SOW," he learns a vague concept of what [=YouTube=] is and that Jesse gets paid for it. Even if his reasons are largely personal for it, you can tell that he WANTS Jesse to be telling the truth that he can make good money off videos and to be able to finally make his dad understand it.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: In "NO CAMERAS ALLOWED" vlog, he's shown tossing dirt at Jesse and pinning him to a door post and threatened to strangle him.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Even though he was willing to strangle Jesse, he held back because he's his brother's son. Though how long till the trope becomes averted is yet to be scene.
** He also steps ''right up'' to Jesse's defense after the destruction of the trailer.
* EvilCounterpart: Arguably to Uncle Larry. While Larry is shown to be a CoolUncle and supportive of Jesse, Chris is a {{Jerkass}} who has threatened Jesse and pinned him to a door post.
* HairTriggerTemper: Apparently, it runs in the Ridgway family.
* HeteronormativeCrusader: Downplayed. His colorful vocabulary is quite homophobic. Even assuming that Corn, Jesse's friend, is his boyfriend.
* {{Jerkass}}: Homophobic comments, belittling Jesse and his friend. It's hard not to see this man as anything other than a jerkass.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While his methods are a bit extreme, like his brother, he just wants Jesse to be successful and to grow up.
* LackOfEmpathy: Shows ''little'' to '''no''' remorse over his actions, much like his brother.
* TheNicknamer: Called Jesse's Friend "Cornhole" and a few other "colorful" languages, though rather justified as he has a homophobic personality and assumes Jesse and Corn are in a relationship. He has also taken to calling Jesse "Candy Ass", and sometimes "Yum Yum".
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: He's a jerk, but he at least acknowledges when Jesse does something right or shows improvement on the farm. He also seems to be somewhat more understanding of Jesse doing videos as a job, though he still doesn't see it as a job.
* SirSwearsALot: Has a much more colorful vocabulary compared to Jeffrey Sr. and Jesse. Including a spattering of homophobic slurs to the mix.
* SnarkToSnarkCombat: with Jesse. Though dishes physical aggression at any snarks Jesse sends his way.
* TheSociopath: Oh so much that it makes Jeffrey Sr. look like a saint in comparison.
* {{Tsundere}}: Turns out to be a rather decent guy by the end of "HELL TO PAY!". By sparing Jesse the full amount of money to pay for Warrior's damaged truck. Such revelation has even brought Jesse to tears even if Uncle Chris denied his own mercy.
* UngratefulBastard: Chris's default behavior is that no matter how much Jesse does, he's still unimpressed despite Anita's positive reviews.
* WouldHurtAChild: Even threatened to strangle Jesse.
** Taken up to eleven when he '''threatened Jesse's life''' if Jesse told Anita about the "conversation" between him and Jesse.

The BenevolentBoss of the farm Jesse now works at who, naturally, disapproves of Chris and Jeff Sr.'s actions towards Jesse.
* BenevolentBoss: A polar opposite to Chris.
* BigGood: Has more than fulfilled this role since Jesse started working at the farm. Best demonstrated in "LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON".
* CoolOldLady: Is quite up to speed to online mediums like Twitter and [=YouTube=].
* ParentalSubstitute: Jesse even comments that Anita reminds him of his own mother. See "LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON".
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Very much so.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: On the other hand, Jeffery has shown a little bit of this at times. A prime example is when he took two UsefulNotes/{{PS4}}'s and an UsefulNotes/XboxOne from Jesse's room to keep for himself after Jesse and Uncle Larry destroyed his [=PS4=], only to find out they were for fans as part of a giveaway. Not only did he instantly gave them back, but he also made a video apologizing to Jesse's fans. Not to mention later on he and Jesse are shown on ''somewhat'' good terms.

* MsFanservice: She has became more attractive and hotter when she started living with Melissa.

** A notable one is when Uncle Chris lowered the amount Jesse has to pay to Warrior's Truck, leaving him with $1200. Instead of taking up his advice or do what any sane person would do living with TheSociopath by quickly finding a place to move out, [[WhatAnIdiot he spends it on three consoles to use for a giveaway and expand his streaming hardware]]

** [[DrunkDriver Drinking Under the Influence of Alcohol]], even backed into the trash cans at Melissa's and was even uncooperative and unreasonable with Jesse when her own son told her '''not to drink and drive'''. Even chastised ''her own son'' for being controlling like his father. When in actuality, Jesse had justified reasons not to let his mother and Melissa drive [[WhatAnIdiot while under the influence of alcohol]].

* PoisonousFriend: Oh so very ''very'' much.

* NiceHat: And it's not because he's bald.

* NiceHat: Sports one in almost all of Jesse's vlogs.

* NeverBareheaded: Always seen sporting a NiceHat in videos. Justified due to hair loss and preventing sunburns on the top of his head during summer months.

* NiceHat: Has a variety of hats and headwear in each of his appearances and in his own vlogs.

* AdultFear: Has a genuine fear that the negative influence from Melissa would result in the death of his mother due to [[DrunkDriver Drunk Driving]], long-term health issues like liver disease, and/or injuries that will severely put his mother in harm's way under the influence of Alcohol. This is justified by his concerns about the amount of alcohol his mother and Melissa consume on a daily basis.

* BaldOfAwesome: Though largely covered up with a NiceHat from his collection.

** In Jesse's "Eviction Day"/Jeff's "Psycho Dad Throws Me Out (ft. McJuggernuggets & Kidbehindacamera) video, he drives up to the Ridgway household late at night [[FromBadToWorse after Jeff Sr. had already told off a bunch of kids for trespassing on his property due to Jesse and Jeff's shenanigans]] because he thought Jesse told him he wanted him to film for something. Jeff Sr. proceeds to [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech get on his case too]] before he promptly leaves.
