* BeehiveHairdo: Fittingly given her powers and how she claims to be "Queen of the hive", she has her hair kept in a beehive bun. When disguised as a regular civilian, she gets her hair styled into a beehive by a hairdresser, and she decides to spare him when she begins her plan because he is such a good hairdresser for her. When she makes her return in ''Spider-Island'' though she has [[LettingHerHairDown let her hair down]].

* InformedAttribute: Was said [[https://i.imgur.com/rtzYYtL.png at least once]] to be one of the strongest telepaths in the world, but has no feats to back that up, mostly her use of telepathy was for just for basic communication, which any telepath can do. Her biggest feats are making others forget specific memories, and managing to establish communication with Aunt May when she was dying in Back in Black, but those pale in comparison to what the strongest [[ComicBook/XMen mutant telepaths]] can do, even the ones who aren't Omega-level.

* InformedFlaw: After her death, [[ComicBook/SpiderIsland during Spider-Island's epilogue]], Spider-Man says Julia's vagueness when talking about her visions is just as annoying as Cassandra's, but Cassandra was never vague about her visions, nor did he think of her as annoying. Dan Slott was possibly mixing the comics Cassandra with the Madame Web from the 90's cartoon, who was vague about her visions, and Spider-Man did think of her as annoying.

* PoweredArmor: Formerly as Araña, she could summon Carapace, a blue spider-like exoskeleton around her body that emanates from the tattoo on her upper right arm, enhancing her abilities and protecting her from damage. She could control the thickness, coverage, and shape of the carapace. At its thickest, it is resistant to small firearms. There were no known mechanical parts in her carapace but it was frequently assumed to be "metal" by those who touched the carapace of ComicBook/MarvelComics2 Araña was feromagnetic! The carapace also doesn't hinder Araña in any way one would expect armor too, beyond being bulky, suggesting it is at least matching her movements if not enhancing them.

* ActuallyPrettyFunny: She plays with this between her and Spider-Man. When they first met, one of the first things he did was crack one of his usual jokes while trying to web her. This left her unimpressed with him, and she kicked him in the leg and stood over him, threatening him not to do that again or else. After he manages to [[LoveAtFirstPunch impress her in their resulting fight though]], she seems a lot more open to his quirks. While she [[CaptiveDate attempts to romance him while holding him captive]], and he cracks a joke at her expense, claiming he doesn't date "raving psychopaths", she actually laughs at it and admits she finds his sense of humor "cute", calling it a "bonus". It is unclear how genuine she was being with this and how much was just a façade while attempting to seduce him, but she does try to crack her own jokes to Spider-Man in a later encounter with him, possibly trying to emulate her "lover". [[EvilHasABadSenseOfHumor Too bad her own jokes are a lot less funny]].

* AffectionateGestureToTheNose: In one of her earliest signs of flirting with Spider-Man, as she has her drones restrain him and she begins rolling up his mask, she gives him a quick playful boop on the nose while talking about how survival is all that matters.
-->'''Queen:''' (''while booping Spidey's nose'') Think of me as a '''cockroach'''. The biggest one you ever saw.

** When she takes a liking to Spider-Man during their first fight she starts rolling up his mask as her drones restrain him and can be seen holding his head. Later after defeating him and pulling him into a hug, she holds him by the right cheek as she attempts to comfort him for his loss and continues holding it as she kisses him to keep his head steady.

to:

* ArchEnemy: Amun.Initially Amun was hired by The Sisterhood Of The Wasp to disrupt Anya's activities and developed a grudge against her when she managed to see his face and live to tell about it. Over time Amun become disillusioned with his employers and grateful to Anya for saving his life, transitioning to FriendlyEnemy and then just friend. The two hunters of The Web Corps and Sisterhood of The Wasp were set up as Anya's arch foes in a MeleeATrois in Tania de Toro's one shot, as Anya also had a falling out with her employers, who turned out to largely be {{villain| with good publicity}}s with good public images to the Sisterhood's more openly criminal activity, but this Anya+Amun vs Webs vs Wasps development was never followed up on.

Despite not being fully healed from it, Araña dealt one out to Arachne, who tried to ambush her as she was leaving work early after quitting. Under Puppet Master's control she also makes short work of ComicBook/MachineMan but proves ineffective against ComicBook/{{Sleepwalker}}.

* IAmNotShazam: It was a running joke for her to be mistakenly referred to as "Spider-Girl" by numerous characters. Even in the face of her impending execution, she angrily tells her captors "The name's Araña," after they take the gag off her mouth in order to let her give her last words to the camera. By late 2010, she [[AscendedFanon decided to just embrace the name]].

* SpiderSense: Her carapace would come out involuntarily in responses to danger (which caused her classmates in gym to accuse her of hiding some kind of metal weapon), with predictable results. It would even pop up in response to things she could not see coming ([[AmusingInjuries such as beverages to the back of her head]]).

* SuperSpeed: Amun was faster than her unless she drew on the hunter spirit. Even without the hunter spirit Anya was fast enough to avoid gun fire, even while suffering from a head cold that kept interfering with her carapace, which in turn demonstrated just how fast Amun was and how much the hunter spirit boosted Araña.

Added DiffLines:

* ThemeMobile: Anya uses her pay from The Web Corps to buy herself a vespa. She can't decide on whether to call it "The Webspa" or "The Spider-Scooter".

Spelling/grammar fix(es)

* GrapplingHookPistol: Formerly as Araña when she was incapable to produce her own webbing, she invented multipurpose spider-like grappling hooks, discs about the size of a palm, attached to cords; able to remotely grip objects, and act as both weapons (ranged or melee) and in a function similar to that of Spider-Man's web-lines. The multipurpose is so creative she can detach the cord at any length to use as a traditional bola or grappling hook for others.

* NamedByDemocracy: Numerous people kept calling her "Spider-Girl" no matter how many times she corrected them. The codename she chose for herself in the Web Corps was "Araña" and even after she got kicked out she kept it, but Anya eventually relented and stopped correcting people when she realized it wasn't working.

* OutOfFocus: Following the ''ComicBook/BrandNewDay'' SoftReboot, there was a concerted effort to position Anya as the premier LegacyCharacter in the Spider-Man line. She was given a major role in the ''Grim Hunt'' storyline, made a member of the Young Allies (Marvel's attempt at a new Teen Teem), and was eventually given a new costume & official took on the Spider-Girl mantle. Her ongoing unfortunately ended up underperforming and got cancelled after 8 issues. To make matters worst new younger characters like [[Characters/MarvelComicsMilesMorales Miles Morales]] and ComicBook/SpiderGwen became breakaway successes and became the new focus for the Spider-Office.
