* BreakingTheFourthWall: In chapter 4-2 of the Extreme timeline, Astrid actually speaks directly to the player at the end of a brief inner monologue.
* MediumAwareness: Astrid is aware that she's part of a video game and occasionally makes real-world pop culture references.
* RippleEffectProofMemory: Unlike the rest of the knights, Astrid retains all her memories of the previous timeline when the Monarch resets it, possibly in connection with her awareness that it's all a video game. In the Extreme timeline, the Monarch expects this to still be the case and is stunned when Astrid doesn't recognize her, [[spoiler:but Astrid can't keep the joke up for long and soon admits she remembers everything]].

[[folder: The Lord of Avillon (Protagonist)]]

The Lord of Avillon is the main character and avatar for the player in Lord of Heroes. They are the monarch of Avillon, a small kingdom of knights located on the Western continent. The Lord does not appear as a playable character similar to the Heroes, but serves as a commander during battle. All actions taken by the player are considered to be the Lord's commands.

* BenevolentBoss: The Lord absolutely put their trust to their knights. They always value the opinion of the knights and even encourage them to think and makes opinion by themselves, not just listening to The Lord. They undoubtedly soft for the knights and treat them as equal and never seek to forcefully exert their authority over others.
* KingIncognito: In one of the side story, it's said that as a child, The Lord sometimes disguise themselves as a normal commoner kid just to play outside the castle. No one actually recognize them that a vendor can even scold them when they're accidentally messed up.

* UniversallyBelovedLeader: The original Knight of Avillon (Johan, Fram, Charlotte, Mikhail, Lyn, and Schneider) all are absolutely loyal and adore The Lord. They interacting with each other like a family, not just like a subject with their Lord. It really shows their tight bonds. Even the Knight that joined later also show loyalty to The Lord. The ones that usually manage the castle, like Rouin and Mu, also clearly loyal to them.

Johan Talede (Korean: 요한 테일드 lit. Johann Teild) is a recruitable hero in Lord of Heroes. He is an exemplary knight who values faith and loyalty. Together with Fram and Charlotte, he is one of the original Knights of Avillon.

* FormerTeenRebel: Well, as much as you can get rebel teen in fantasy world.[[spoiler: In bonus side story, it's said that when he's young, Johan always have some sort of bruises and even dare to challenge The Lord, who's still a heir of the throne, to make a country where there's no one living like him.]]
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Johan has a blond hair, and he's also a kindhearted, loyal, and gentle person.
* KnightInShiningArmor: His character description even describe him as the ideal knight. It became perfect with his Avillon Knight Uniform series, Limited Outfit Oath of the Sword.
* LightIsGood: Notably have light color scheme with his appearance. Even his element is Light in Normal Main Story!
* PurelyAestheticGlasses: Or to be more precise, Johan used glasses to soften his own impression. He has lots of artworks where he didn't wear his glasses.

* SmartPeopleWearGlasses: Although the glasses isn't real, but this trope still applies since Johan is the strategist of the original Knights of Avillon, and he learned military studies too.
* StarterMon: One of the first recruitable character. You get him for free after playing the prologue.
* TheReliableOne: Within the original Knights of Avillon, he's the most reasonable and stable, making him this.
* TrueCompanions: With the other Knights of Avillon,especially the original roster (Fram, Charlotte, Mikhail, Lyn, Schneider).
* UndyingLoyalty: Absolutely loyal to MC, The Lord of Avillon. Notably, he and The Lord knew each other earlier than other knights.
