* PlatonicLifePartners: Seems to be this with Tigress in [[WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda3 Kung Fu Panda 3]]. Besides his father, she is the character he concerns himself the most with, he is able to have honest confrontations with her, is now able to read her movements and predict her arguments and, most importantly, is fully willing to be emotionally open with her, a far cry from his hesitance to be vulnerable in the previous film. It's clear that they've reached a point where they have no more secrets between them. At the end of the movie it is precisely Tigress describing herself as Po's friend, rather than a more romantic title, that ultimately ends up saving him.

* CoolBigSis: Seems to become something like this to Po in the second movie, wanting to be both a supportive figure and a source of comfort to him through the story. Played straight with Lei Lei in the third film, who instantly adores her. Tigress doesn't even mind the baby panda riding on her head and appears to genuinely enjoy training her, as well as playing with her.

* PlatonicLifePartners: By [[WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda3 Kung Fu Panda 3]], she seems to be this with Po. They're familiar enough to read each other's movements, know each other well enough to know what the other will do/say, are comfortable enough being honest and confrontational with each other and are able to show emotional vulnerability, a far cry from Po's hesitance to show Tigress his true feelings in the previous movie. Many even compared their dynamic to that of a married couple! By the end of the movie, however, Tigress saves Po's life by describing herself as his friend, showing her love for him is platonic.

* ShipTease: With a number of female characters. In the first movie, it's downplayed greatly in favor of Po's story, but Viper gets a little of it by being nice to him from the beginning, and kissing a training dummy that looks like him during the credits (she later gets a few moments with him in the TV series too); with Song in one episode of ''Legends of Awesomeness''; with Tigress in the TV series; and with Mei Mei in the third movie while training her with nunchucks.
%%* SitcomArchNemesis: Stairs.

Who and where her biological parents left her as a baby and if they're still alive or not.family are has never been explained.
