A second-year No-Star student at Honnouji Academy who becomes Ryuko's best, and only, friend as soon as the two meet. She is a complete and utter airhead whose odd and overly-energetic antics never cease to baffle everyone around her. Nevertheless, she has a good heart and provides Ryuko with invaluable moral support.

* {{Ojou}}: She is the dignified heir of the Kiryuin Conglomerate. She's treated like royalty by the student body as well as the faculty since she rules over Honnōji Academy with an iron fist as president of the AbsurdlyPowerfulStudentCouncil.

** We get one of the first indications that Satsuki isn't as bad as she pretends to be during Gamagoori's flashback when she saves a helpless student from bullies and ruthlessly punishes said bullies.

** After Nui destroys Senketsu, Satsuki forces her to leave Ryuko alive, then leaves Ryuko covered in a blanket and with one remaining piece of Senketsu.

Satsuki later gives Mako a powerful two-star Goku uniform in order to fight against Ryuko so she can maintain her family's new-found wealth.
