The main hero. He's known mostly by all of this friends (and enemies) for being a huge idiot loudmouth and for his unusually tall height. In his past life, he was a bandit who later gained recognition with the people for his heroic, Robin Hood-like actions against the corrupt government. In the present, he is currently the master of the greatest Good robot, Ultimo.

Yamato's best friend since the fifth grade. His family is apparently rich, as he has a huge mansion (in ''Tokyo'', no less) with a garden and statues. In his past life he was [[{{GenderBender}} a princess]] who was infatuated to Yamato the bandit, and it is implied that he had something to do with a terrible incident involving Ultimo. His [[{{StalkerWithACrush}} undying love]] for Yamato that has carried onto the present lets [[{{TheCorrupter}} Jealousy]] convince him to become his master.

A 16-year-old boy that was a [[{{SuperCop}} genius warrior]] in the future. He traveled back to the year 2012 to stop the Hundred Machine Funeral from happening, as it destroyed his future, and to capture Dustan. He is the master of Sophia, the doji of Wisdom.

A mysterious girl who is Yamato's crush. In her past life she was a little girl that was part of Yamato's band of bandits.

Just as Ultimo is the greatest of the Good doji, Vice is the ultimate form of Evil. You can pretty much guess what his [[{{AxCrazy}} nature and personality]] is from that fact. His master in the present is K. It is currently unknown if, in the past, he even had a master.

An Evil doji that embodies envy of the SevenDeadlySins. He is the second doji Ultimo and Yamato (not to mention the reader) are introduced to, both in the past and in the present. His master was Iruma Tomomitsu, [[{{YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness}} until he found him unfit to be his master, as it prevented him from learning about the difference between Good and Evil]]. His new master is now Rune Kodaira.

A doji who embodies Wisdom. He is one of the Six Perfections. He often wears a cape and visors that conceal his gauntlets, tail, and eyes. He has a rather quiet, observant personality. His master is Musashi Murayama.

The embodiment of patience. He has a calm and quiet personality, but not a very friendly one. He has little respect for Yamato and seems to be the quickest to put him down. Koun Shakujii is his master.
