* NighInvulnerability: Actually killing Uva is virtually impossible, as unlike all of the other Greeed he doesn't go dormant if reduced to just his central Kuwagata Core Medal. His success in setting up passive Cell Medal farms grants him even greater durability later in the show, and in the finale his SetBonus makes him so tough that even being hit repeatedly with attacks from the purple Medals doesn't so much as crack his Cores.

* BigBad: Out of the original (villainous) Greeed, he seems to be the one who fits this role the most. Despite all four being even at first, his [[TheChessmaster Chessmaster]] abilities and [[spoiler:absorbing Cores from other Greeed]] eventually promoted him to this. * KlingonPromotion: The show's GrandFinale sees Eiji use [=TaJaDor=] Combo to destroy the purple Core Medals once and for all, and with them the [=PuToTyra=] Combo that they granted him as his final form. Eiji eventually reclaims a full set of the other Medals, but the purple ones remain destroyed in canon movies, with the result that [=TaJaDor=] claims the mantle of OOO's final form for itself.
* LawOfChromaticSuperiority: Initially played straight with [=TaJaDor=], which seemed to be a stronger combo than any of the others, even getting a unique design from its pieces and chest symbols whereas the others were more proper combos. Then subverted when combos were proven to be situational, turning The all-red [=TaJaDor=] into "the form Combo is the only one that flies" changes one of the parts when fully equipped to give it a unified phoenix motif, also making it the only Combo explicitly based off a mythical animal. It's portrayed as considerably stronger than the other Combos, and has a unique weapon that lets it use the powers of other Medals. That said, [[DownplayedTrope it can't do everything]], and all of the other Combos as well as various non-Combo arrangements have situations where they're much like [=ShaUTa=] is "the form that swims".

Yup, that's the evolved bird beating its predecessor, the dinosaur.]]

%%* MythicalMotifs: Two of OOO's Combo forms have this.

* OurDragonsAreDifferent: [=PuToTyra=] is themed after animals that in the modern world are purely conceptual, combining extinct dinosaurs with mythological creatures. Each individual core is based on a specific real world genus but when combined, and particularly when he's on a rampage, the create the imagery of a European dragon.

horns, while the Unagi Medal uses electrified whips.

Added DiffLines:

* StoryBreakerPower: [=GataKiriBa=] earns its title of the Strongest Combo in spades: not only is it monstrously powerful on its own thanks to being able to produce a seemingly limitless number of clones, each just as powerful as the original, but those clones can switch into other Combos. [[RealLifeWritesThePlot It's also horrendously intensive on the effects budget.]] As such, Eiji never gains access to it except when he would be absolutely unable to defeat an enemy otherwise.

* LogicalWeakness: What happens to water when its heated up enough? It really seemed to be more of a burst of pure heat, much like the sun emits, rather than straight-up fire.
