* AbsurdlyCoolCity: The original goal at least was to unite the people of the plains to make, "the most beautiful and nicest city." This would quickly give way into becoming more of a government as factions arose across the island, but the city at large was still quite nice.

* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: Assumed from Sidefall's communications with the snow island that he was planning to betray the plains, causing him to set-up blockades on his side of the island and prepare for war, when Sidefall wanted nothing of the sort.

* ReluctantRuler: {{Downplayed}}, but when founding Pendaris, Horus had no original intent to actually be a leader of a political faction, but more or less fell into the role by default once UPS formed.

* NiceGuy: Genuinely formed his faction, not out of any want of power, but to look out for the other denizens of the plains, and when meeting Horus, he quickly made his intent clear that he wanted no part in an active war and would much rather they stayed on friendly terms.
* OddFriendship: With Seth, a cult leader who gladly takes advantage of his admirers for self gain from the jungle island.

* SmallRoleBigImpact: Them discovering the center island gives way into the rest of the factions discovering it, eventually leading to the center island becoming a cultural hub and safe place for the various groups.

* DirtyCommunists: A key part of his motivation is own desire to keep communists away from his faction at all costs.

A follower of [=20JP=] and Feebazz and a member of The Invisible Hand who initially follower his leaders in their various adventures and misadventures before stumbling upon a set of ancient texts on his home island and using their writings to become the cult's seer.

* {{Seers}}: He stumbled across a set of ancient books on the plains island and used them to see the future. Among the mystical writings within those pages was a prophecy about a person coming back from the dead. * TruceZone: In addition to remaining neutral, they often mediated diplomacy between different factions (such as when the plains [[spoiler:almost]] broke out into war) while selling their beer to whomever was visiting, including during the [[spoiler:battle for Aculon]].

* TheCynic: Had a rather cynical outlook on how negotiations between the Pendaris and UPS will go. While proven wrong, [[ProperlyParanoid it's hard to blame him in the moment for how he was thinking considering the harsh grounds the two factions were on in the moment]].
* DrinkingOnDuty: Shares a drink with Ish while on duty. Considering he believed his nation was about to go to war with itself, its hard to blame him.

* MeaningfulName: Named after part of the Greek word for freedom (eleftheria).

* AntiHero: Seen as a hero amongst the people of Theria for his belief in democratic election and free rights for his people. However, he also shows himself to be far less accepting or just in his actions toward the secondary factions of the desert, treating them as less important by downplaying their problems, and subjecting them to harsh trade deals. This isn't even the mention his [[spoiler:hidden conspiracy with Davarit to murder the Sultan, which had it gone wrong, very well could have led to Theria's destruction]].

* CorruptPolitician: Tries to have Tikkie pardoned for his crimes stealing from and attacking the Emirate, not even wanting to bother punishing him.

* PraetorianGuard: Protected by the so-called "Elite Team," composed of the Amazon members from Season 1, which served to deliver justice from the Sultanate onto anyone who wronged them, including [[spoiler: terrorists, mountaineers who encroached on their territory, and traitors]]. They were led by the twin guards Zombta and Davarit, who bodyguarded the Sultan himself. After, [[spoiler: the sultan's death, they remained in the Sultanate as the Sultanate militia, swearing vengeance on Zombta and the Alliance of Democratic nations, joining the [[FinalBattle Battle for Aculon]] on Aculon's side.]]

* EvilHasABadSenseOfHumor: Early on, Ryan made a joke about wanting to kill a leader, not intending to actually do so. Seeing this as a potential threat, the Sultan went on to send out his elite guards to kill him and anyone else they find under the guise of eliminating an assassin.

** Believed the Emirate when they reported one of his men as a thief in spite of not needing to; he chose to prioritize good ties between the factions then put preference on his own people.

* AdaptationalVillainy: In EJK's perspective, which insteads paints them as cold-hearted traitors looking to capitalize off of the Sultan's death for personal gain.

* EliteMooks: The strongest, most decked out members of Sultan's guard.

* NumberTwo: Served as the Sultan's represenative when communicating outside of the Sultanate, specifically in regards to communications with the Emirate.

A chicken who founds his own fried chicken restaurant within the Sultanate empire.

* TheAggressiveDrugDealer: Offers Ish drugs (called "sugar") when he visits the earliest version of the Los Pollos Hermanos stand. While he seemingly gives this up after a bit in favor of being a regular business man, he is forced to return to the trade when the farmers are no longer able to yield additional crop for his restaurant.

* RestaurantOwningEpisode: Gets an entire story arc dedicated to him and the farmers being forced to work on the Sultan's monument over looking after their restaurant, causing it to struggle and them to lose patience with his politics. This would lead to them soon [[spoiler:abandoning the Sultanate]].

* OddFriendship: With the Emirate as a whole, specifically EJK. He came to admire their hardheld beliefs and want for justice.

* BlatantLies: When caught trying to steal diamonds, he claims to be there for the trade, claiming he has the leather he wanted. EJK doesn't buy it.

* AntiVillain: While not direct antagonists like the Sultanate or the Aculon Empire, they still nonetheless allied with them. Unlike them, however, their actions were more so out of hatred for a specific enemy rather than any interest in having any sort of dictatorship, and often present themselves as considerably more noble than many of the other more villainous factions.

* NonActionGuy: Due to their lack of strong armor and weapons, they were considerably more reluctant to get involved in any sort of active conflict than the other factions, especially without promise of safety or allegiance.

* WhoNamesTheirKidDude: EJK is left exasberated at having to even say his name out loud.

A rookie player who missed the first day and is hastily recruited into the first faction he found.

* UndyingLoyalty: To [=2E2G=], genuinely respecting and appreciating them for taking him in. This is later extended to the Sultan, who he builds a monument in the likeness of. [[spoiler:After the Sultan's death, he completes the Sultan's holy city in his honor before heading off to defend the Aculon Empire.]]

* UncertainDoom: [[spoiler:We never learn his fate following the final battle. However, considering his allegiance to the losing side, its highly likely he didn't survive.]]

* WhamLine: Ram arranges a meeting with [=SeaPlural=], who killed one of her fellow [=2E2G=] members. You'd expect her to confront him about his crime or start attacking him, but instead:

* BornUnlucky: Just about every problem he encounters truly came down to just a horrendous series of bad luck. From a medicore spawn, to making an unfortunate joke to someone allied with the Sultan, putting him in the crossfire, Ryan never caught much of a break. [[spoiler:This would all come to a head when he was revealed to be on the Sultan's hit list, meaning if his guild was to survive, he'd have to die.]]

* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: He never returns after the first day, leaving his fate completely unknown following it.

* PoorCommunicationKills: Communicating in the Jungle in any large capacity proved incredibly difficult as a result of the dangers navigating the forest. This led to many civil disputes, the rise of banditry, and a lack of diplomatic channels between civilizations, which came to a head when the Sea People embarked on an anti-banditry campaign that unknowingly threatened the allies of [=SethHyphen=], [[spoiler:leading to the two factions being at each other's throats, before eventually taking different sides in the Aculon War]].

Well over two dozen smaller factions formed initially instead of any larger ones, and most of the early parts of the event were spent with them massacring each other for the limited food and resources they had.

* ScamReligion: Seth is fairly obviously ''not'' a God, being just as capable of dying to any random Joe Schmoe as anyone else. Doesn't mean he doesn't openly embrace his newfound status.

* HeWhoFightsMonsters: Decided that the jungle bandit problem needed to be solved by force, regardless of how culpable they were, since their base was raided by bandits earlier in the event, leading to the death of their original leader. Unfortunately, [[spoiler:they targeted people who were allies of [=SethHyphen=], leading to Seth preparing to wage war on them]].

* AntiVillain: Joins the Aculon Empire for the final battle, but his motives of a more lawful jungle are hard to argue against considering its long held reputation of being incredibly dangerous and full of criminals up to that point.

* ADayInTheLimelight: He and his faction received no notice in the original video, due to the jungle generally being chaotic and the factions there mostly minding their own business. In Ciarán's video, he and his team all get times to shine.
* DueToTheDead: One of his fellow leaders, [=TheLovingJevil=] who also served as the team's diplomat, was blown up by a Creeper on the very first day. He and another member of his faction built two monuments to honor his short life, Ciarán's being an angel statue, and the other member a church which was used for Jevil's funeral.

* ThisMeansWar: He was notified of [=TheLovingJevil=]'s death by a Creeper blowing him up, along with some other people in the Jungle dying to more Creepers, and he himself nearly got blown up by one. Angered by this turn of events, he tells his team they needed to declare war on the Creepers. Owing to Ish removing Creepers later into the event, however, the Legion doesn't get to fight any.

* GoodAllAlong: In spite of how he's introduced, [[spoiler:he ultimately proves himself to be more honorable and selfless than he let out, willingly sacrificing his own life to ensure the safety of the rest of jungle's people]].

* ZeroApprovalGambit: After the peace talks between [=SethHyphen=] and yeetspeak broke down, [[spoiler:he decided to use his sand trap to focus their grievances on him first so as to delay the inevitable war within the jungle, which he only revealed to Ish. Ultimately, after evading capture for a while, he willingly turns himself in, and is executed after giving a FinalSpeech. While it did allow for reconciliation to happen for a time, the factions still went to war due to siding with opposing factions during the Aculon War.]]

* AloofLeaderAffableSubordinate: The primary distinction between Emperor Elanuelo and his acting emperor, [=AFreakinTurkey=]. Turkey was a ReasonableAuthorityFigure, willing to listen and care for the people of Aculon even when their ideals opposed Elanuelo's, eventually deciding that [[spoiler:democracy would be better off for the people he served]]. Elanuelo, on the other hand, chose to put himself above the people, setting up an elaborate system of feudal authority that answered to him and him only in order to secure his position at the top of Aculon's hierarchy, keeping him isolated form the concerns of the people. [[spoiler:When Turkey came to discuss reforming the empire into a democracy, his paranoia got the best of him, and he ordered Turkey and his followers executed. However, this caused [[TheAlliance The Alliance of Democratic Nations]] to declare war on him, leading to his demise at [[FinalBattle the Battle of the Iron Torch]].]]
* HegemonicEmpire: The empire was formed not through conquest but by Elanuelo convincing the leaders of each of the snow island's settlements to throw their lot behind him.

* QuicksandSucks: Early on, the Snow Island suffers casualties en mass as a result of large, bottomless snow pits that would trap and suffocate players.

The secretive and ambitious leader of the united snow island, later known as the Aculon Empire.

* ShadowDictator: Rules over all of the Aculon Empire, but made an active effort to keep their presence hidden, instead delegating their duties out to their most loyal followers. He'd make his first active appearance around 1/3rd of the way into the event.

* NumberTwo: Being the acting emperor of Aculon before Elanuelo could appear in public, he, by necessity, was treated as second only to the Emperor himself. Thus, he organized events, gathered resources, and punished dissidents in lieu of Elanuelo's input, and became popular for his down to earth and amicable image. However, this led Elanuelo to distrust Turkey over his growing support and willingness to aid his people at the expense of Aculon, [[spoiler:leading to him executing Turkey when he proposed making Aculon more democratic]].

* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Willingly ceded the title of acting emperor to Turkey due to him being busy with disputes and diplomatic issues, and later assisted him with getting refugees out of Aculon due to their discontent with Elanuelo's rule and likelihood that they'd be killed for expressing that discontent.

* TheDreaded: ''No one'' wants her as an enemy. She was Elanuelo's commander and, by extension, his second in command, making her someone none would want to cross politically. Beyond that, however, she was a spymaster that everyone in Aculon's resistance feared, and was known as one of, if not ''the'', strongest warriors in the world. A consistent fact seen in all retellings was that she not only survived the war, but survived targeted attacks against her during the Battle of Aculon against ''multiple'' players at once, something incredibly difficult to accomplish even for veteran players in ''VideoGame/{{Minecraft}}''. As [=KaNukei=] put it, she and her knights were a powerful enough force that specific strategies had to be undertaken to keep them away from Elanuelo for the plan to assassinate him to work.

* KillerRabbit: Looks fairly unassuming, even friendly, on first glance, but she has some of the best gear possible on the server and is more than willing to get her hands dirty.
* OneManArmy: The closest the server could have to one. Even among the knights, who were chosen because of their ability to efficiently overcome other players, she typically got spotlight as being someone that was more or less unstoppable. It showed in the war, where she could engage several players at once with minimal assistance.

* BrokenPedestal: He upheld the Aculon Empire and the values its stood for in the highest regard, but after seeing shocking events such as the Knights' arrogance [[spoiler:and the death of Turkey and his followers at Elanuelo's command]], his high opinion of them was shattered and he even considered leaving Aculon and Kinoshima.
* DownerEnding: [[spoiler:While building defences in preparation for the Alliance's attack on the Aculon Empire and simultaneously wondering if he was actually in the right with everything happening around him, he accidentally falls to his death with the empire falling shortly afterwards in the subsequent war with the Bastion of Peace. The conclusion of his perspective sees him blaming himself for failing the empire, his cohort, and Turkey, wondering if the universe was telling him that he was never meant to be a hero.]]
* AFatherToHisMen: Resolves to ensure no one else in his faction dies after one of his fellow sub-faction members perishes saving Legacy from an Enderman. The events following that member's death see him building a snowtel together with his team and generally trying to be a good leader, but by the time war came to Aculon, very few remained in his sub-faction... [[spoiler:and all of them went into that battle without him, owing to the captain having a bad case of falling while trying to reinforce the castle's defences.]]

* MyCountryRightOrWrong: While his faith in the Aculon Empire was shaken by some terrible events culminating in Elanuelo's purge, he joined the war to defend the empire despite its flaws, following the deceased Turkey's advice to follow his heart. While building the defences, however, he starts to have doubts over his circumstances.

* WalkingSpoiler: His only action in Ish's video is his defeat of Elanuelo in the Battle of Aculon, making it impossible to to talk about him without giving away the event's endgame and Elanuelo's demise.

The host of the simulation. Despite taking a neutral stance to the ever growing conflict both within and between the kingdoms, he proves himself more than happy to interact with them and commentate on their spats, serving as a {{Narrator}} of the unfolding events.

* DemotedToExtra: Due to not being a participant, his role is severely diminished in other player's perspectives of the event.

An alliance born between the plains, Theria, the Seth Citadel, and defectors from Aculon to unite against the Aculon Empire. It began when the Seth Citadel and the plains welcomed in Aculon refugees fleeing from Elanuelo, eventually growing in a massive union with enough military power to take on the empire.

* HeWhoFightsMonsters: After the death of Elanuelo, The Alliance continued to attack the remaining allies of the Aculon Empire despite most of them surrendering in the wake of Elanuelo's defeat, much like how Elanuelo himself purged Turkey and his supporters despite Turkey not wanting to oppose him. This included killing people such as Shrimpatine who had no major role in the events leading up to the war.
