The Wind Tribe is a people closely related by blood to the Hylians who once served as the guardians of the Triforce after the departure of the First Sages. When the Darknut Legion, coveting the Triforce, initiated a crusade against the Wind Tribe and nearly wiped them out, the Wind Tribe decided to ascend to the sky far above Hyrule to avoid extinction. They succeeded with the help of the fledgeling Kingdom of Hyrule under King Gustaf.

On their new home, the Wind Tribe began to construct their cities, eventually awakening the First Sage Demoko, who approached their people impressed at how far they had come since the dawn of time. He then offered to help them ascend further as instructed by the Goddesses, transforming them into the Oocca after several centuries. Unfortunately the Triforce that was left in their care had been passed unto the Hylians, and thus the Oocca would work to guide them in their development so that they may ascend to the Heavens as well.

His work complete, Demoko ascended to the skies far above Hyrule and remained asleep for ages.

When the Wind Tribe ascended to the heavens after their war with the Darknut Legion, they began to construct their cities amongst the sky. This eventually awakened Demoko, who offered to help them ascend further as instructed by the Goddesses, transforming them into the Oocca after several centuries.

When Hylia created the Master Sword and unleashed Link, her first knight upon Hyrule, Demoko orders the Oocca to search the land and find the False Goddess. This leads to a brief conflict between the Oocca and Lanayru Province, who refuses to hand over Link. Eventually the Sages of Hyrule ascend to the Oocca Sky Cities, confront Demoko and nearly destroy him. With the combined forces of the Ancient Hylians and the Wind Tribe, Siroc was able to escape with most of her people to the skies before their civilisation was destroyed by the Darknuts.

The primitive Tokay are native to the lush Crescent island, just south of Labrynna. They are a culturally awkward peoples with many customs considered odd by many. Rank and stature in their society is usually determined by absurdly simple materials rather than skill: a Tokay that has a shirt with short sleeves is considered more important and superior than a Tokay that has a shirt with no sleeves for instance. This has made the Tokay extremely easy to manipulate and dupe out of their untapped resources by more civilised cultures. So naive and lost to their little reality are the Tokay that they often willingly let themselves become slaves to others, thinking that the outfit and food provided to them makes them better than their brothers.

After meeting Saria, [[spoiler: he learns about Kasuto's last wish for his children: take the last of the Deku Tree Sprouts, shed their animal bodies, becoming Koroks and vow to abandon war forever. Together with Saria, Fado sets out to explore eastern Hyrule and find as many Kokiri as he could with the hope of fulfilling Kasuto's final wish.]]

An ancient arachnid species that thrives in swamps and otherwise dark and damp places. They feast on all manner of both living and dead things and are known for hunting down unaware people in the night. All Gohma are mentally linked to each other, and that calling any lone Gohma an individual would be inaccurate.

The Gohma's power was granted by Sulkaris, the Fallen Sage, who spread across Hyrule, defiling all those that followed the Goddesses until their defeat at the hand of King Gustaf in 5000 BG.

The Zora are an elder race whose origin traces back to the times of ancient Hylians. They are an aquatic species that resemble humanoid fish but while they display many characteristics of aquatic life they also have vestigial mammalian traits that imply they might have had mammalian ancestors.

Zora soldiers usually are outfitted to look more imposing rather than fight and perform effectively, and most of their armour, weapons, and outfits are designed for form over function. For this reason the Zora generally are not very durable, but their high discipline and morale usually helps them last longer in a fight when most soldiers would make a run for it. They also have a natural advantage in the water, an advantageous trait none of the other races can claim to have.

The Zora are an elder race whose origin traces back to the times of ancient Hylians. They are an aquatic species that resemble humanoid fish but while they display many characteristics of aquatic life they also have vestigial mammalian traits that imply they might have had mammalian ancestors.

Zora soldiers usually are outfitted to look more imposing rather than fight and perform effectively, and most of their armour, weapons, and outfits are designed for form over function. For this reason the Zora generally are not very durable, but their high discipline and morale usually helps them last longer in a fight when most soldiers would make a run for it. They also have a natural advantage in the water, an advantageous trait none of the other races can claim to have.

The Wind Tribe is a people closely related by blood to the Hylians who once served as the guardians of the Triforce after the departure of the First Sages. When the Darknut Legion, coveting the Triforce, initiated a crusade against the Wind Tribe and nearly wiped them out, the Wind Tribe decided to ascend to the sky far above Hyrule to avoid extinction. They succeeded with the help of the fledgeling Kingdom of Hyrule under King Gustaf.

On their new home, the Wind Tribe began to construct their cities, eventually awakening the First Sage Demoko, who approached their people impressed at how far they had come since the dawn of time. He then offered to help them ascend further as instructed by the Goddesses, transforming them into the Oocca after several centuries. Unfortunately the Triforce that was left in their care had been passed unto the Hylians, and thus the Oocca would work to guide them in their development so that they may ascend to the Heavens as well.

The first Sage to be created by the Golden Goddesses, Demoko was created as a prototype and template for their future endeavours, and was ordered to operate and control their other inanimate creations. Demoko participated in battle against the Druthulidi during the creation of the Triforce.

When the Firstborn of the Goddesses awoke into Hyrule, Demoko, five of the other Sages, and the three Oracles passed the Triforce unto them and placed it in their care. Demoko explained the passage of time and taught them to construct cities and other inanimate creations. He gave the Dominion Rod to the Firstborn should they need to call upon the Triforce. His work complete, Demoko ascended to the skies far above Hyrule and remained asleep for ages.

When the Wind Tribe ascended to the heavens after their war with the Darknut Legion, they began to construct their cities amongst the sky. This eventually awakened Demoko, who offered to help them ascend further as instructed by the Goddesses, transforming them into the Oocca after several centuries.

When Hylia created the Master Sword and unleashed Link, her first knight upon Hyrule, Demoko orders the Oocca to search the land and find the False Goddess. This leads to a brief conflict between the Oocca and Lanayru Province, who refuses to hand over Link. Eventually the Sages of Hyrule ascend to the Oocca Sky Cities, confront Demoko and nearly destroy him. [[spoiler: It is revealed that Majora orchestrated the conflict in hopes of crippling the Oocca so that they would offer no resistance against it when it ascends to Hyrule.]]

The Sage of Fire, King of the Volvagians and Death Mountain during the rise of Ganon. The Gorons protest, but are driven out of Death Mountain after their leader Darunia is bitten by Dakkon and infected with his venom.

When Ganon's fortress is attacked by the Hylians and Gorons, Dakkon lends his Volvagians in defence, but is incapacitated by Darunia. With many of his fellow Volvagians slain and injured, Dakkon flees Death Mountain across Hyrule and into the Gerudo Desert. The Volvagians promptly lose their supremacy over Death Mountain to the Gorons.
