* AffectionateNickname: The main characters call her Krum, not just because they like her, but as an alias so she's not immediately attacked and set of a panic in town.
* AlternateIdentityAmnesia: Defied. She has full memory of her actions while in her berserker state.
* AmnesiacDissonance: Although she remembers ''who'' she is, [[spoiler: she can remember very little else. She's even forgotten how to fight.]]
* TheBerserker: When she's enraged, to the point of "awakening," she loses the ability to reason, and attacks indiscriminately, unable to tell friend from foe.
* BigEater: Place anything remotely resembling "biscuits" in front of her and she will eat a lot of it.
* BreakTheCutie: Sadraa and his motley crew of sycophants certainly tried.
* BreathWeapon: In her "Demon King" mode, she can fire a breath attack of the pure darkness element. Diablo suspects that even he wouldn't survive a direct hit.

As long as she isn't directly provoked, she's perfectly fine with "live and let live," although she occasionally voices the desire to burn up people en masse when she gets impatient. The fans note that she ''really'' takes after Diablo in this regard.
* ChildrenAreInnocent: She is an accurate representation of an elementary school child.
* {{Chuunibyou}}: The mission of the great demon lord is... to eat all the biscuits of the world!
* CuteLittleFangs: Diablo notes that she has rather sharp fangs when she playfully nibbles on him in volume 3. Although they hurt a little bit, they don't do any real harm.
* TheCutie: Everybody who meets her and ''isn't'' an OmnicidalManiac or otherwise completely batshit crazy and violent finds her absolutely adorable.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Her attribute is darkness, as expected of a demonic being, yet she's wholly innocent, cheerful, gentle and kind, as long as she's not deliberately provoked.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: She's blonde and is both sweet and innocent.
* HasTwoMommies: Despite Rem being the one who ''technically'' gave birth to her, she's latched on to Shera. Nobody seems to mind.
* HornedHumanoid: She has goat-like horns growing out of her head.
* HulkingOut: When she's forced into battle, predominantly as a result of harm to her loved ones, she transforms into a being at least three times Diablo's size, and gets a massive boost in her physical strength and ability to cause damage. Unfortunately, she loses her ability to reason, as well as separate friend from foe in the process.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Even in her berserker mode, she's not mindless. While it's true that she can't tell friend from foe, she does learn from her actions. After seeing Diablo dodge her arm swings, reflect her magical attacks, and block her BreathWeapon, she starts throwing coffins at him. When she sees the last actually prove effective, she goes and picks up the entire northern rampart and throws it at him.
* InvoluntaryShapeshifting: She has no control over changing forms.
* LittleBitBeastly: If not for her horns and lizard tail, she could very easily pass for an elf toddler.
* MadeASlave: This time, it's done willingly. Being presented with three options, none of them good, she chooses, nay '''demands''' to be made Diablo's slave, so that she can continue to live happily in Faltra and eat biscuits.
* MixAndMatchCritter: She has features of all three protagonists. She has horns and public attitude similar to Diablo's. She has blonde hair and pointed ears like Shera. She has animal features like fangs, claws, and a tail similar to Rem, though reptilian rather than feline, and it all makes her absolutely adorable.
* MortonsFork: After her rampage, due Sadraa's despicable acts, Sylvie is forced to give her two options, surrender herself up for public execution or become the enemy of the world and be hunted down. Fortunately, Diablo is able to come up with [[MadeASlave a third option.]]
* NighInvulnerable: When in her full Demon King form, an attack that turned the entire graveyard, and a portion of the northern rampart, into a crater failed to do any significant damage. It was only Shera's PowerOfFriendship that managed to stop her rampage.
* PhlebotinumBattery: She ''is'' one. Almost to the point of PerpetualMotionMonster. She generates mana inherently and can distribute it to others, especially as a result of extreme arousal, as Diablo learns first hand after Shera accidentally unlocked this ability.
* PointyEars: Rem and Shera are able to pass her off as an elf because of her pointed ears.
* PromotedToLoveInterest: [[spoiler: She willingly demands to join Diablo's slave harem at the end of volume 3.]]
* PurpleEyes: To highlight her supernatural origins, she's got purple eyes.
* RapunzelHair: Her golden-blonde hair reaches her knees.
* RageAgainstTheHeavens: She resents "god" for locking her spirit away many generations ago, and bears no malice against Rem for resenting her because of the suffering being sealed inside her and her ancestors brought.
* SacredFirstKiss: She gives hers to Diablo as part of the Master-slave contract into which she ''willingly'' enters.
* SealedInsideAPersonShapedCan: Soul was sealed inside of Rem. Was previously sealed in Rem's mother.

* SleepmodeSize: When she first appears, she's three times Diablo's size, but then shrinks down to the size of a small child.

* SuperpoweredEvilSide: '''Do Not Harm Her Loved Ones''' if you value your life. Threatening the people who she loves will drag her out of her SleepmodeSize and into an UnstoppableRage.
* SweetTooth: Although she likes coffee, she will happily praise any sweet snack-like treat she's given.
* TastesLikeFriendship: Shera was able to formalize a peace treaty with her by feeding her biscuits. She later does the same to Sylvie, sharing one of her biscuits with the guild leader because the guild leader offered to aid her any way she could.
* TokenMiniMoe: She's technically a newborn, making her the youngest girl in the cast, and she's ''adorable'' on both sides of the fourth wall.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Biscuits, jam biscuits, nut biscuits, all the biscuits of the world!
* UnskilledButStrong: As to be expected, her "fighting style" is the random lashing out that would come from a small child, but the level of firepower, both figurative and literal, that she brings to bear is more than enough to level an army, or even Diablo, should an attack actually manage to connect.
* UnstoppableRage: Literally. Once she's rightfully enraged, even she can't stop her actions.
* VerbalTic: She ends her sentences with "-noda" or some variant.
* WiseBeyondHerYears: While she doesn't have much in the way of her original memories, she does still have access to centuries' worth of wisdom to draw from.
* YouWouldntLikeMeWhenImAngry: She's a very sweet, understanding, well-behaved, and cheerful child, and it's very difficult to upset her. Should you actually succeed, especially by harming her loved ones, she will ignore any promises she made about sparing you, and go into TheBerserker SuperpoweredEvilSide which will not only annihilate you, but the entire army that came with you, and maybe the entire city behind you.

* AnArmAndALeg: Once Diablo gets involved and starts blasting him with magic, Gregor literally loses an arm, a leg, and his tail before he realizes just how outclassed he is. Unfortunately for him, this is far, far too late as Diablo stated from the beginning that pleading for mercy wasn't an option.
* BareFistedMonk: When not using magic, he attacks with his bare hands.
* CassandraTruth: Inverted. Diablo tells him before their "fight" that Edelgart has already been driven away and mentioned Edelgart by name. He refuses to believe it, calling it "an obvious lie" despite the fact that if Diablo was lying, there's no way he should have known Edelgart's name.

* MuggingTheMonster: When he challenged Diablo, he had absolutely no idea what kind of trouble he was getting himself into. By the time he realized it, there was no other option for him than to wait until Diablo got bored and killed him off.
* NoBodyLeftBehind: Diablo kills him by sucking him up into an UnrealisticBlackHole.
* PunchedAcrossTheRoom: Diablo blasts him away with an air bullet to protect Emil, Rem, and Celestine.

* CastFromHP: Her skill aptly named "Sacrificial Charge" uses up 15% of her hp upon activation.
* DragonRider: She's introduced riding up on some kind of reptilian mount.
* HellishPupils: Diablo notes that her pupils are slits, like a reptile's.
* JoustingLance: Diablo lampshades that she wields one due to being the self-proclaimed strongest spear-user among the Demonic Beings.
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: After taking a direct hit from Diablo's ultimate magic, she wisely withdraws when Diablo gives her the chance.
* LizardFolk: She has numerous reptilian features.
* MadeOfIron: She takes a direct hit from a level 130 spell, and is still standing with only minor clothing damage. Diablo is impressed.

* NobleDemon: She's a Demonic Being and is utterly ruthless in combat. Still, she's honest, noble, brave, loyal, and prefers the peaceful solution whenever possible, unlike most of the other Demonic Beings shown that act like omnicidal maniacs, and that's the "moderate" faction.
* RapunzelHair: In the light novel, Diablo notes that her hair reaches her waist.
* SupernaturalGoldEyes: To highlight that she's a Demonic being, she has golden eyes.
* TakeAThirdOption: Rather than fight Diablo and abduct Rem, try to kill her, or give up on resurrecting Demon King Krebscrem, she proposes a ritual that allows Krebscrem's soul to leave Rem's body without killing her. All parties involved are happy to go along with the idea.
* ThisCannotBe: Twice in the same fight. First when Diablo tanks her Sacrificial Charge skill, and again when Diablo unleashes White Nova on her.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Krebskrum. Her only purpose in life is serving Krebskrm. While her primary goal isn't the extermination of the Six Races, if that's what it takes to make Krebskrum happy, so be it.
* VillainousFriendship: She's genuinely very good friends with Alicia. So much so, that she will happily put her life on the line for the latter.

The High priest of the church of the divine beings, she is introduced being hunted down by "Holy Knight" Geibalt for assassination because she dared investigate complaints of fraud, corruption, and other unpleasantness from the Church Of Divine Beings.

* AccidentalProposal: She was raised to believe that the only man she should ever reveal her body to is her marriage partner, with the sole exception of "Kami-sama" who is a supernatural divine being that's been watching over her since she was born. Since she was buck naked after enduring a ShamefulStrip from Geibalt before Diablo showed up on the scene to rescue her... Fortunately, this mindset doesn't include men who rip of her clothes against her will.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindows: Her hair and eyes are the same color.
* EntertaininglyWrong: In ''direct response'' to her prayers, Diablo, who was testing "Flight" magic at the time goes to investigate. By sheer coincidence, his spell runs out, causing him to crash right on top of the monster threatening her, and since his aura is both the most powerful and most pure she's ever seen, she confuses him with "Kami-sama" whom she was specifically praying to.
* HateAtFirstSight: And it's mutual. When she meets Krebskrum, they immediately hate each other, due to their polar opposite origins. Krebskrum hates the gods she worships, for good reason, and she is repulsed by Krebskrum's Demonic Beast aura.
* LightIsGood: She wields light-based magic, prefers to dress in white, her name means "light," and she's an undeniably good individual.
* MysticalWhiteHair: She has long white hair to highlight her very high magical power.
* NecessaryDrawback: Her magical powers are incredibly strong, able to cure the gravest of wounds and curses with astonishing ease, but in exchange, healing magic doesn't work on her at all. The only method by which she can be healed is by the use of potions.
* ThePollyanna: Despite being ''directly threatened'' by the corrupt Cardinal Institution that is engaged in all sorts of unsavory activities and subverting the church, she refused to give up the investigations, expecting "Kami-sama" to protect her, as befits her station of High Priest. She was ''almost'' proven wrong.
* ShamefulStrip: As he was preparing to kill her, Holy Knight Geibalt summoned a "Beast Mushroom" monster that ripped of her clothes while he laughed at her distress and relished humiliating her by saying she'd be good as a whore, mocking her cries of desperation.
* SheKnowsTooMuch: Because she uncovered too much direct evidence of Cardinal Institution corruption, and refused to be cowed, the Church ordered her assassination. Unfortunately for these corrupt elements, they got Diablo involved.

!! Head of the Holy Knights, Baduta
The highest rank of Holy Knight. He leads a "Holy Knight Unit" or rather lets a bunch of people with the mindset of brigands run around calling themselves such in the town of Zircon Tower. When he realizes Lumachina is the one they were provoking...

* BitchInSheepsClothing: He pretends to be a good and devout Knight in horrible circumstances. In truth, the feudal lord of Zirconia town is right to call him and his followers "parasites" and "liars."
* INeverSaidItWasPoison: He carelessly reveals himself by saying "person" when he's told a certain "illness" is actually a magical curse.
* JoustingLance: He wields one brimming with powerful magic.
* MuggingTheMonster: By proxy. His "Holy Knight Unit" provoked and antagonized both Lumachina and Diablo, doubly so when he arrived on the scene, and then he recognized Lumachina...
* PoisonAndCureGambit: He is exposed when Lumachina and Rem analyze the fact that thousands of people per day are made ill ''with a curse'' and Baduta's clove of priests are the only ones who can heal them, for a "donation."

!! Holy Knight Sadraa

* AssholeVictim: The only complaint fans have regarding his death is that it was way, way too quick to balance the scales of what he's done, just on-screen alone.
* TheChosenMany: There are thirteen Holy Knights in total. [[FridgeHorror They all think the same way he does, and have similar power levels.]]
* ChurchMilitant: He is a devout follower of the church of the Divine Beings, and a powerful warrior.
* DoNotTauntCthulhu: He sees Krebskrum transform in front of him and utterly obliterate the church he's standing in, everything above the height of a small child, and he decides to ''trash talk'' a grieving and enraged Demonic Being King because he thinks he's "god" and his victory's already assured.
* FantasticRacism: Simply having demi-human traits is enough to be seen as a Demon Being worshipper. [[spoiler: In fact, he starts by cutting Rem's ears off with rusty shears as part of the "purifying ritual."]] It doesn't take [[spoiler: as she fights back and later illustrations show she still has them both]], but still.
* GeneralRipper: He is so eager to wipe out Demon Being Worshippers that he slaughters entire towns, and calls it "granting them salvation."
* AGodAmI: When Rem asks him, point blank, in volume 3, Chapter 4, he happily attests that he's "become god," by torturing people to death, and thinking he's "granting them salvation" because death is an immediate invitation to heaven, and the fact that none of the six races he's ever encountered could ever stand against him. Krebskrum proved him wrong.
* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: After being squashed like a grape, the upper half of his body is utterly vaporized by the flames of Krebskrum's hatred, leaving only his lower half. Precisely the same fate awaited his men, which he ordered to act as shields, just moments before.
* IgnorantOfHisOwnIgnorance: His "ultimate magic" is the ''chemical magic'' Flame Burst, which due to the rest of the races preferring Summoning magic, to prioritize their own safety, usually can't stand against. When he's up against a ''Demon King'', ie, the pinnacle of a race of beings that uses magic of that level as a parlor trick, at best, he's completely outclassed, but utterly fails to realize it because he believes himself to be "god made flesh."
* InsaneTrollLogic: He doesn't think using torturing tools is actually torture. And doesn't understand why torture brings death. He honestly believes he's god because the [[TortureForFunAndInformation "cleansing ritual"]] suddenly [[CruelAndUnusualDeath "invites souls to Heaven."]]
* KarmicDeath: He spent the vast majority, if not all his Holy Knight career, crushing people mentally, and emotionally, via torture on suspicion of being Demonic Being Worshippers, on the flimsiest of evidence, or no evidence at all, purely to sate his own ego. He ultimately winds up ''literally'' crushed like a grape as a direct result of his actions regarding Krebskrum and Rem.
* KnightTemplar: He is wholly devoted to rooting out Demon Being Worshippers. Unfortunately, he's quick to condemn anyone as a worshipper on even the slightest suspicion and considers it a mercy if they die quickly. "Having them blessed by the Divine beings."
* MoralSociopathy: He honestly believes he's living in a moral and upright manner, but he is utterly batshit insane. He is both willing and ''eager'' to accuse anyone he meets of being a Demonic Being Worshipper on a whim, without any kind of evidence, and torture them until they confess, guilty or not, so he can "offer them salvation" by brutally killing them. The church of Divine beings ''sanctions'' this behavior and gives its knights Carte Blanche to do it. Sandraa is supposedly the most "devout."
* MuggingTheMonster: In three ways. First, he willingly accuses Alicia [[AccidentalTruth falsely of being a Demon Being Worshiper]] on the flimsiest of pretexts, notably that she's meeting Diablo, a known savior of Faltra, simply because he's of the "Demon" race, strike one. Strike two, when Rem protests Alicia's innocence, he grows haughty, dismisses her as a "lowly slave" and uses the "chantless" skill, acting like a complete charlatan by hiding his spellcasting, to torment Rem with a magic spell that causes pain, the terror of having trouble breathing, and the "stun" debuff, effectively a magical form of "waterboarding," claiming it's an act of divine retribution delivered by the Divine beings, not knowing or caring that Diablo (if not others) could see through it. Strike three and out, when an enraged Diablo points out his theatrics, only refraining from violence due to the very real threat of collateral damage, and calls him out on how he's disgracing the name of the church, if not the divine beings themselves, by using petty magic tricks to throw his weight around and pretend the divine beings have given their sanction, he claims "divine judgement" will turn Diablo to stone as punishment for besmirching the name of the Holy Knights, only to be completely exposed when his "petrification" spell rebounds, and he is turned to stone instead.
** Utterly failing to learn his lesson, he does it again by antagonizing Krebskrum, through both threatening her directly due to having the appearance of a small, helpless child and by attacking her guardian, Rem, who he sees ''pleading'' for Krebskrum not to kill him. Upgrades to DoNotTauntCthulhu when he strikes down Rem while she was trying to protect the child, and Krebskrum, overcome by grief and rage, retaliate when he starts to taunt and mock the enraged Demonic Being.
* NeverMyFault: Any and everything he does, such as using his subordinates as shields? Why it's the will of "god."
* ObliviouslyEvil: He honestly doesn't comprehend why bathing entire towns in the blood of its citizens is a bad thing.
* OneManArmy: He alone is so strong, King Dalesh, with thousands of troops at his beck and call doesn't want to challenge him.
* PrinciplesZealot: He's so utterly devoted to "worshipping god" that he will do ''anything'' to carry it out, no matter how vile.
* TheSociopath: He is clearly clinically and criminally insane. Just check out this line.

* SuicidalOverconfidence: Since he's a Holy Knight tasked with hunting down Demonic Being Worshippers, and believes himself not only getting God's ultimate blessing, but ''being god'' he thought he could take a direct blow from an awakened Krebscrem, unscathed, and "divine intervention" would strike down Krum instead. [[spoiler: He was wrong.]]
* TakenForGranite: Combined with HoistByHisOwnPetard. While trying to deliver "divine judgment" on Diablo, using "Chantless" to conceal that he's using magic, his "Petrification" spell rebounds and turns him to stone instead. All the patrons in the bar where this is happening don't hesitate to heckle him for it. Diablo decides to not push him over and shatter him on the spot. [[spoiler: Given the damage Sadraa causes later he probably should have.]]
* TautologicalTemplar: He's so convinced himself that he's an invariably good and kind person, that anyone who agrees with him is a "blessed servant of god" while anyone who opposes him, regardless of the reason, is irredeemably evil, and needs to be tortured into despair before being "granted the blessing of the divine beings."
* TortureForFunAndInformation: Par for the course for anyone he suspects of being a Demon Being Worshipper, he tortures them until they confess, guilty or not, for his own gratification, and then he "grants them salvation" by killing them in brutal and horrific ways.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: [[spoiler: By striking down Rem in his attempts to go after Krebskrum, he awakens Krebscrum's SuperpoweredEvilSide.]]
* UnwittingPawn: His very own fanaticism, racism, and insanity make him very easy to manipulate.
* WouldHurtAChild: After cutting off at least one of Rem's ears, and Krebskrum angrily complained, he turned his sword on Krebskrum, and trying to strike her down "as a demonic" being despite thinking she's nothing more than just some kind of Demi-human hybrid [[FantasticRacism just because..]] The narration implies this isn't the first time he's done this, [[MuggingTheMonster but it sure as hell was his last.]]

!! Holy Knight Geibalt
The second Holy Knight encountered by Diablo. A "Holy Knight" in name only, he is a blasphemous fool that only serves "Kami-sama" due to being paid very well. He's also a depraved Okama, who hates being born male, and is murderously jealous of beautiful women.

* DirtyCoward: He "fights" by hiding behind monsters of a much higher level than himself, that he bought, many of which ambush their victims from underground, and then when the monsters are done, goes in to claim the kill.
* FemaleMisogynist: He sees himself as a woman born in a man's body, and is so jealous of actual women's physical beauty, and contemptuous about their relative lack of strength, that the term fully applies.

** Utterly failing to learn his lesson, he does it again by antagonizing Krebskrum, through both threatening her directly due to having the appearance of a small, helpless child and by attacking her guardian, Rem, who he sees ''pleading'' for Krebskrum not to kill him. Upgrades to DoNotTauntCthulhu when he strikes down Rem while she was trying to protect the child, and Krebskrum, overcome by grief and rage, retaliates when he starts to taunt and mock the enraged Demonic Being.

* TakenForGranite: Combined with HoistByHisOwnPetard. While trying to deliver "divine judgement" on Diablo, using "Chantless" to conceal that he's using magic, his "Petrification" spell rebounds and turns him to stone instead. All the patrons in the bar where this is happening don't hesitate to heckle him for it. Diablo decides to not push him over and shatter him on the spot. First, he calls Diablo "cowardly," looking to make excuses for his incompetence when he sought out mission-critical important info from Galford, which allows Diablo to counter with the fact that Galford did nothing during the invasion, and Galford launches a sneak attack after Diablo's exhausted from fighting with the Force Hydra to seize Shera, by force, killing everyone in his way on the pretext that "lowly adventurers can't secure Shera" despite the fact that Shera was only in prince Kiira's custody because the elven prince had used the citizens of Faltra as hostages to make it happen.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: He doesn't take chances in protecting the citly of Faltra. In order to keep the citizens safe, he's more than willing to launch a war of extermination against the elves, even if they've already surrendered, and hold their princess, Shera, hostage. Galak's response? Accuse Diablo of being rude for daring to outright and completely refuse Celestina's request.

He jokingly comments that he could "smell" Shera in trouble when he came to her rescue from kidnappers, but in truth had used his connections as the Warrior examiner for the Adventurer's guild to scout out Shera, when he heard of the bounty on her head, so he could be nearby if she needs help, which she did. It's also justified that looking out for the citizens of Faltra, of which Shera is a member, is also part of his job.
* TookALevelInBadass: His fight with Gregor and subsequent healing by Diablo's healing potion boosted his abilities so immensely, even Diablo did not recognize him on their next encounter until he took off his helmet and introduced himself, again.

They force her to study "proper" education until it damages her eyesight, then berate her for the glasses she wears so she can actually see (at least well enough to actually be able to recognize who she's talking to), routinely go through her possesions without notice or consent, despite her being a full-grown adult, and summarily destroy anything they consider "improper", only notifying her afterwards, and are constantly dismissive of her career and efforts, even going so far as to threaten her with ambushing her with a "proper" husband that they choose for her if she doesn't hurry up and find one for herself. Small wonder she dreams about their empty heads rolling on the floor.
* BreastPlate: As shown in the page image, her armor highlights her breasts. In her case, it's far more justified in that female knights who have earned enough merits and accomplishments to have the ear of the king (not to mention be regarded as his favorite, based strictly on merit) are exceptionally rare, and her armor had to be custom-made, and it's still shown to be quite practical, effective, modest, and realistic.

Though Diablo can't bring himself to forgive her either, he also can't bring himself to outright hate her because he remembers all the good she's done for the team before, and suspects that she's trapped in complicated circumstances like Shera was under Kiira.
* UndyingLoyalty: In exchange for Diablo and Krebskrum's aid in healing Edelgart, she first offers to take her own life, when Diablo prevents that, she willingly devotes her life to his service. It doesn't hurt that she interprets Diablo's words as seeking to root out and destroy the corruption of the kingdom she hates, even if it ultimately means overthrowing the kingdom in the process.
* VillainousFriendship: With Edelgart. The two are very close, and if push comes to shove, both are willing to lay their lives down for each other.

Not because she doesn't want to let them use it, but because there's no way she could make the people who showed up and turned the tide of the battle pay rent, saying she was very grateful, and told Diablo's party that they and the priests can use the chapel, rent free.
* MageMarksman: A sub-specialist of archery, she fights with magically empowered guns.
* {{Nerf}}: Inverted. In the game, Cross Reverie, the magic gunner class is so overpowered that it got nerfed, a lot. Diablo suspects that her version is the "original" form, and thus would be very hard to face against, even at his prime.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: All she cares about is collecting her taxes. While she does protect the town from powerful rampaging demonic beasts, she does it so the tax revenue keeps flowing.

* AccidentalProposal: She was raised to believe that the only man she should ever reveal her body to is her marriage partner, with the sole exception of "Kami-sama" who is a supernatural divine being that's been watching over her since she was born. Since she was buck naked after enduring a ShamefulStrip from Geibalt before Diablo showed up on the scene to rescue her... Fortunately, this mindset doesn't include men who rip of her clothes against her will.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindows: Her hair and eyes are the same color.
* EntertaininglyWrong: In ''direct response'' to her prayers, Diablo, who was testing "Flight" magic at the time goes to investigate. By sheer coincidence, his spell runs out, causing him to crash right on top of the monster threatening her, and since his aura is both the most powerful and most pure she's ever seen, she confuses him with "Kami-sama" whom she was specifically praying to.
* HateAtFirstSight: And it's mutual. When she meets Krebskrum, they immediately hate each other, due to their polar opposite origins. Krebskrum hates the gods she worships, for good reason, and she is repulsed by Krebskrum's Demonic Beast aura.
* LightIsGood: She wields light-based magic, prefers to dress in white, her name means "light," and she's an undeniably good individual.
* MysticalWhiteHair: She has long white hair to highlight her very high magical power.
* NecessaryDrawback: Her magical powers are incredibly strong, able to cure the gravest of wounds and curses with astonishing ease, but in exchange, healing magic doesn't work on her at all. The only method by which she can be healed is by the use of potions.
* ThePollyanna: Despite being ''directly threatened'' by the corrupt Cardinal Institution that is engaged in all sorts of unsavory activities and subverting the church, she refused to give up the investigations, expecting "Kami-sama" to protect her, as befits her station of High Priest. She was ''almost'' proven wrong.
* ShamefulStrip: As he was preparing to kill her, Holy Knight Geibalt summoned a "Beast Mushroom" monster that ripped of her clothes while he laughed at her distress and relished humiliating her by saying she'd be good as a whore, mocking her cries of desperation.
* SheKnowsTooMuch: Because she uncovered too much direct evidence of Cardinal Institution corruption, and refused to be cowed, the Church ordered her assassination. Unfortunately for these corrupt elements, they got Diablo involved.

The highest rank of Holy Knight. He leads a "Holy Knight Unit" or rather lets a bunch of people with the mindset of brigands run around calling themselves such in the town of Zirconia. When he realizes Lumachina is the one they were provoking...

* BitchInSheepsClothing: He pretends to be a good and devout Knight in horrible circumstances. In truth, the feudal lord of Zirconia town is right to call him and his followers "parasites" and "liars."
* INeverSaidItWasPoison: He carelessly reveals himself by saying "person" when he's told a certain "illness" is actually a magical curse.
* JoustingLance: He wields one brimming with powerful magic.
* MuggingTheMonster: By proxy. His "Holy Knight Unit" provoked and antagonized both Lumachina and Diablo, doubly so when he arrived on the scene, and then he recognized Lumachina...
* PoisonAndCureGambit: His is exposed when Lumachina and Rem analyze the fact that thousands of people per day are made ill ''with a curse'' and Baduta's clove of priests are the only ones who can heal them, for a "donation."

* DoNotTauntCthulhu: He sees Krebskrum transform in front of him and utterly obliterate the church he's standing in, everything above the height of a small child, and he decides to ''trash talk'' a grieving and enraged Demonic Being King because he thinks he's "god" and his victory's already assured.
* FantasticRacism: Simply having demi-human traits is enough to be seen as a Demon Being worshipper. [[spoiler: In fact, he starts by cutting Rem's ears off with rusty shears as part of the "purifying ritual."]] It doesn't take [[spoiler: as she fights back and later illustrations show she still has them both]], but still.
* GeneralRipper: He is so eager to wipe out Demon Being Worshippers that he slaughters entire towns, and calls it "granting them salvation."
* AGodAmI: When Rem asks him, point blank, in volume 3, Chapter 4, he happily attests that he's "become god," by torturing people to death, and thinking he's "granting them salvation" because death is an immediate invitation to heaven, and the fact that none of the six races he's ever encountered could ever stand against him. Krebskrum proved him wrong.
* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: After being squashed like a grape, the upper half of his body is utterly vaporized by the flames of Krebskrum's hatred, leaving only his lower half. Precisely the same fate awaited his men, which he ordered to act as shields, just moments before.
* IgnorantOfHisOwnIgnorance: His "ultimate magic" is the ''chemical magic'' Flame Burst, which due to the rest of the races preferring Summoning magic, to prioritize their own safety, usually can't stand against. When he's up against a ''Demon King'', ie, the pinnacle of a race of beings that uses magic of that level as a parlor trick, at best, he's completely outclassed, but utterly fails to realize it because he believes himself to be "god made flesh."
* InsaneTrollLogic: He doesn't think using torturing tools is actually torture. And doesn't understand why torture brings death. He honestly believes he's god because the [[TortureForFunAndInformation "cleansing ritual"]] suddenly [[CruelAndUnusualDeath "invites souls to Heaven."]]
* KarmicDeath: He spent the vast majority, if not all his Holy Knight career, crushing people mentally, and emotionally, via torture on suspicion of being Demonic Being Worshippers, on the flimsiest of evidence, or no evidence at all, purely to sate his own ego. He ultimately winds up ''literally'' crushed like a grape as a direct result of his actions regarding Krebskrum and Rem.
* KnightTemplar: He is wholly devoted to rooting out Demon Being Worshippers. Unfortunately, he's quick to condemn anyone as a worshipper on even the slightest suspicion and considers it a mercy if they die quickly. "Having them blessed by the Divine beings."
* MoralSociopathy: He honestly believes he's living in a moral and upright manner, but he is utterly batshit insane. He is both willing and ''eager'' to accuse anyone he meets of being a Demonic Being Worshipper on a whim, without any kind of evidence, and torture them until they confess, guilty or not, so he can "offer them salvation" by brutally killing them. The church of Divine beings ''sanctions'' this behavior and gives its knights Carte Blanche to do it. Sandraa is supposedly the most "devout."
* MuggingTheMonster: In three ways. First, he willingly accuses Alicia [[AccidentalTruth falsely of being a Demon Being Worshiper]] on the flimsiest of pretexts, notably that she's meeting Diablo, a known savior of Faltra, simply because he's of the "Demon" race, strike one. Strike two, when Rem protests Alicia's innocence, he grows haughty, dismisses her as a "lowly slave" and uses the "chantless" skill, acting like a complete charlatan by hiding his spellcasting, to torment Rem with a magic spell that causes pain, the terror of having trouble breathing, and the "stun" debuff, effectively a magical form of "waterboarding," claiming it's an act of divine retribution delivered by the Divine beings, not knowing or caring that Diablo (if not others) could see through it. Strike three and out, when an enraged Diablo points out his theatrics, only refraining from violence due to the very real threat of collateral damage, and calls him out on how he's disgracing the name of the church, if not the divine beings themselves, by using petty magic tricks to throw his weight around and pretend the divine beings have given their sanction, he claims "divine judgement" will turn Diablo to stone as punishment for besmirching the name of the Holy Knights, only to be completely exposed when his "petrification" spell rebounds, and he is turned to stone instead.
** Utterly failing to learn his lesson, he does it again by antagonizing Krebskrum, through both threatening her directly due to having the appearance of a small, helpless child and by attacking her guardian, Rem, who he sees ''pleading'' for Krebskrum not to kill him. Upgrades to DoNotTauntCthulhu when he strikes down Rem while she was trying to protect the child, and Krebskrum, overcome by grief and rage, retaliates when he starts to taunt and mock the enraged Demonic Being.
* NeverMyFault: Any and everything he does, such as using his subordinates as shields? Why it's the will of "god."
* ObliviouslyEvil: He honestly doesn't comprehend why bathing entire towns in the blood of its citizens is a bad thing.
* OneManArmy: He alone is so strong, King Dalesh, with thousands of troops at his beck and call doesn't want to challenge him.
* PrinciplesZealot: He's so utterly devoted to "worshipping god" that he will do ''anything'' to carry it out, no matter how vile.

* TheAce: As "Diablo." In Cross Reverie, nobody who dared to challenge him could beat him, and that was with him holding back to make the challenge enjoyable. If he goes all out, Nobody, but nobody can even get close. And now he finds himself in an alternate world running on the same mechanics, where everybody of the six races is grievously underleveled. Even the only two other players in the entire [=MMORPG=] who had a higher [=PvP=] rank than himself still could not beat him if he went all out.
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: In the original light novels, Diablo is ''highly uncomfortable'' whenever he's stuck in what could even be remotely construed as an erotic situation, such as being alone in a room with either Rem or Shera, and it isn't until after Rem and Shera have been openly throwing themselves at him for a while that he starts to mellow, such as only blushing and turning away when they strip to bathe in a river, right in front of him, and although he does notice Shera's breasts, it's because she constantly either glomps him with them, or sticks them in his face. In the manga, although he tries to hide it, he's a raging pervert, who not only explicitly fantasizes about Rem, Shera, or both, at the drop of a hat, but goes out of his way to openly ogle them, and gets ''excited'' when Medios orders Shera to strip, as opposed to being repulsed with the idea of making her uncomfortable by having her strip suddenly in front of a stranger. The manga adaptation even has him immediately conjure an imagine spot of Alicia being molested by tentacles, for no reason, after meeting her. The light novel counterpart would never do anything of the sort, and became enraged beyond reason when Shera was subjected to a similar fate.
* AntiMagic AttackReflector: His equipment the 《Demon King's Ring》 reflects all magic whether it is an attack, healing or support. It forces him to rely on his potions for restoration. ''Especially'' mana.
* AuraVision: In the second volume he learned how to do this.
* AwesomeButImpractical: His two ultimate spells, "White Nova" and the UnrealisticBlackHole are this. The former requires a 30 second cast time, which he was able to hide by monologuing, and the latter requires Diablo to ''touch'' the target, both of which are very dangerous, under normal conditions, for any pure spell-caster class. If Diablo wasn't so insanely overpowered for the world setting, it's unlikely he'd ever get to use either of them.
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: He's not ''just'' a magical powerhouse. The primary reason he was the first player to take down Demon King of the brain, Enkvolus is not that he simply overpowered it, but that he calmly and carefully analyzed its strengths, weaknesses, weapons and tactics, while he was actively fighting it, and countering each and every thing it did with brutal efficiency. He does it again, in story, with the Force Hydra. Instead of wasting his time and energy [[AttackItsWeakPoint trying to focus on the small, hidden, and constantly shifting]] AchillesHeel, he uses carefully gauged attacks to figure out the Force Hydra's rather counter-intuitive special ability [[HoistByHisOwnPetard and turn it on the Hydra itself.]]
* BagOfSpilling: Played with. He only brought his character's own personal inventory into the new world. This does not include his tremendous financial fortune, nor the countless treasures he's collected over the life of his character. It might prove subverted completely if his personally created dungeon is linked to this world as well, though considering the exponential difference in travel times between the game and this world, he doesn't yet have sufficient justification for a several day journey with no guarantee of success at the other end.
** In volume 4, it looks averted, and justified. [[spoiler: His dungeon does indeed appear where he put it in the game, and adventurers have been raiding it, trying to get at the treasures inside.]] Now the real question is if Diablo can legally lay claim to it or if "monster houses" like his personal dungeon are considered public property.
* BattleAura: While it's not present in the manga, in the original light novel, he begins to emit mana when he becomes enraged at the thought of his friends or loved ones being threatened.

* CovertPervert: In the manga, he's constantly imagining himself in "intimate" situations with either Rem or Shera, sometimes both at the same time, and it doesn't take much to set this off. * CruelToBeKind: Realizing that he doesn't have the proper conversational skills to politely wrestle Rem's secrets out of her, especially after Celestine, the most powerful mage in the world setting shows concern because of it, he openly declares his intent to "torture" it out of her. Once Rem reveals that she's afraid of being abandoned when he hears it, that's when he gets "creative."
* ADateWithRosiePalms: Implied. In the manga, when Rem rightly worries if "Diablo" is going to violate her, he has a flashback to a box of tissues with the words "even in real-life, I was a solo player."

Edelgart surviving a direct hit with only the loss of her weapon, and minor clothing damge, after having already sacrificed 15% of her HP in a powerful attack impresses him beyond measure. The rest of her 100 demonic being army was instantly vaporized.
* GoodIsNotNice: Having no social skills, and being a hikkikimori level otaku, the only way he can interact with the world is by roleplaying as "Demon King Diablo," so he's rude, crude and abrasive, but he's genuinely decent, kind, and morally upright, and most of his intimidating bluster is purely for the sake of ''avoiding'' conflict because all he really wants is to be left alone and lead a peaceful existence with his TrueCompanions.
* GreenEyedMonster: As a player, he always went easy on those who challenge his dungeon, as a courtesy. Unless the challengers looked like a romantic couple, and then he pulled out all the stops to brutally slaughter them without mercy, at a time that he lived alone, as a shy otaku who ''froze'' speaking to a pretty female cashier.
* HealingFactor: Diablo's 《The Distorted Crown》 automatically restore his HP.
* HeroicNeutral: All he wants is to be left alone with his TrueCompanions, and lead as simple a life as possible. He will do anything that aligns with that goal and strongly opposes anything that threatens it. The only reason he ever fights the Demonic Beings is that they're far more likely to come after his loved ones than the six races will, though when people of the six races are the threat, he shows little hesitation fighting them, delivering as much of a beat-down as necessary, and if the only way to make the threat stop is to kill the offender, so be it.
* HeroWithBadPublicity: Invoked and exploited. In D&D terms, it's like a Half-orc character placing most of his non-class stat points into Bluff and Intimidate. This serves Diablo just fine as his lack of social skills would seriously hinder him in trying to relate to the world any other way.
* HornedHumanoid: Diablo wears an item called 《The Distorted Crown》 that makes it look like he has horns growing out of his head that makes him look like a Demonic Being.
* HumbleHero: Ironically. Despite projecting the image of a haughty and boastful Demon King, he really just wants to be left alone, and is not actively seeking praise or glory.
* {{Hunk}}: Diablo has a very well built physique for a mage, possessing six pack abs, sculpted obliques, large pectoral muscles and impressive biceps and arms. Though perhaps a little less impressive when one considers this body was the result of character creation and not physical effort.
* IGaveMyWord: He will honor any promise he makes to the best of his abilities. This does have limits, however. If the other party is not honest and forthright in their dealings, either breaking their end of the deal, using brainwashing, or some other despicable act that goes against either the letter or the spirit of the agreement, he will '''immediately''' "forget" any such promise he made, and hold the other party to task, violently. Doubly so if it involves his TrueCompanions.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Whem Shera called him "a companion", he blushed with joy.
* InnocentCohabitation: More or less. While he does share a bed with both Rem and Shera, and has even gotten to see them completely naked, at their invitation, not to mention Shera's frequent erotic acts, he has yet to go all the way with either of them, not because he's opposed to it, but due to his own ParalyzingFearOfSexuality, and the fact that he priotizes their trust above his own gratification.
* InsecureLoveInterest: Due to his ParalyzingFearOfSexuality and poor social skills, he is very reluctant to progress romantically with either Rem or Shera, no matter how much they ''both'' throw themselves at him.
* {{Irony}}: The kind of players/challengers he hated most were those with obvious romantic relationships. The first thing he does after being dragged off into another world, running on the mechanics of the game he knows and loves, is form a LoveTriangle with two very attractive women, who are almost constantly fighting over him, all completely by accident.
** In the game, chemical magic, at which Diablo universally excells, is ''the'' prime choice for players who want to be magicians while in the new world, running on the same mechanics, it's considered a joke, good only for teaching the basics to children.
** In the new world, summoners are the type of magicians people hold in awe above all others, while in the game, summoners are treated with derision, not only because chemical mages could easily provide more damage per second [=(DPS)=] for similar relative levels, but summoned monsters had little in the way of utility, with each monster having only one special ability, and being relatively easy to defeat in a straight up fight; the same not being true in the new world, where summoned monsters '''can''' be stronger than the mage that summons them, but still bound to a slave contract, making them obey their summoners without question.
* JerkassFacade: At least at first. He's nowhere near as overbearing as he pretends. He's actually very shy. He just projects the image of "Demon King, Diablo" because that's the only way he's ever successfully spoken with a girl. In fact, he has flashbacks of freezing in front of a female cashier because he doesn't know how to talk to her.
* LastChanceHitPoint: Diablo's mantle called 《The Curtain of Black Clouds》 has one of the effects to have him survive an attack that could kill him.
* MagicKnight: Eventually Diablo comes to the conclusion that fighting strictly as a mage is a detriment to himself, so he changes to a heavy armor setup allowing him to get up close and personal while delivering spells through a sword that intensely amplify their effects.
* MagicStaff: Diablo's staff called 《The Staff of Tenma》. [[spoiler: After Diablo losses it when he saved Horun from drowning, he replaces it with the 《Tonnerre Empereur》.]]

* NecessaryDrawback: Using his magic consumes MP. While this isn't a problem in the game, in the new world, it saps away at his mental strength, which could be quite dangerous if he uses up all his MP.

Since the only way he knows how to interact with others is through "Demon King" roleplay, and he's of the "demon" race, he projects himself as a fierce and arrogant demon, but he protects innocents, honors his word, and fights with courage and nobility, often taking damage that he could have easily avoided, in order to protect others. Also, as long as one doesn't deliberately try to provoke him, he's actually quite harmless.
* NominalHero: In truth, he only sees the citizens of Faltra as [=NPCs=] and only cares for their well being as it benefits him personally. Still, he does not seek praise or glory when he comes to their aid.
* NormalFishInATinyPond: In ''Cross Reverie'', his character is officially ranked "middle-tier." In the new world where he finds himself, he can, and does, solo an army when sufficiently provoked. Diablo eventually figures out this is the result of RealityEnsues in a RPGMechanicsVerse with permadeath where its inhabitants can't really risk challenging too many or strong enemies to LevelGrind unlike the game where DeathIsASlapOnTheWrist.
* NoSocialSkills: The closest he can come to a conversation is his Demon King roleplay. As such, a great deal of what he says tends to get misunderstood, and provoke needless conflict.
* OneManArmy: He is officially recognized as one by the new world by the time volume three rolls around.
* PapaWolf: He's ''very'' protective of his LoveTriangle, and later little Krebskrum, and it's a fundamentally bad idea to offend or threaten any of them.
* ParalyzingFearOfSexuality: While he is heterosexual, and admires beautiful women, happily imagining himself in intimate encounters, his natural fear of rejection, lack of social skills, and inherent shyness, almost to hikkikomori levels, have combined to the point that he is ''literally'' paralyzed when he finds himself in even a marginally actual erotic situation, like in the BedmateReveal above. This is something he ''also'' hides behind his "Demon King" persona. As such, if he finds his hands on Rem's or Shera's breasts, or anywhere intimate, for any reason, he literally can not pull away, especially if he wants to. While [[ACupAngst Rem]] has issues with it, [[DCupDistress Shera]] doesn't seem to mind, actually going out of her way to thank him for paying attention to her figure on several occasions.
* TheParanoiac: Aside from earning enough money to put food on the table, a daunting task with the likes of [[BigEater Shera and Krebskrum]], his primary motivating factor is the highly irrational fear of losing Shera's and Rem's respect and admiration, even though the two of them have made it abundantly clear that they love him unconditionally. For now, this manifests as a MoralityChain to keep him from going AGodAmI considering how overpowered he is for the world setting.
* PoorCommunicationKills: Diablo is well aware of this, but since he has NoSocialSkills, has serious trouble avoiding it.
* PotionBrewingMechanic: Diablo has the 《Compounder》 sub-class. It's much more important that one might initially guess for him as the effects of his [[AntiMagic <Demon King's Ring>]] mean that he has to rely on potions for self-recovery.
* PragmaticHero: While he does act in terms of the greater good, specifically where it concerns Rem and/or Shera, he's not averse to "bending" or outright breaking the law, or a few limbs, to get the job done.
* PromotionToParent: He, more or less, becomes the father of little Krebskrum after pouring his mana into her so she could be born and separated from Rem's body. Krebskrum winds up really taking after him.
* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: His party's make-up is truly bizarre, to say the least. It starts with a level 40 summoner/fighter Pantheran and a level 40 archer/level 30 summoner elf who pointedly bicker about everything, especially himself, then he adds Krebskrum, the Cross Reverie's yet-to-be-introduced FinalBoss ''Devil King'' who turns out to actually be a sweet, innocent child, with a powerful SweetTooth, and if the pattern continues in volume 4, he's likely to add the female ''High Priest'' of the Church of the Divine Beings to his collection, who unsurprisingly suffers HateAtFirstSight with Krebskrum, and the feeling's mutual.
* ReadingsAreOffTheScale: When the Adventurer's guild tries to measure his magic level, the magic mirror goes completely dark, and starts putting out black miasma.
* RedBaron: Diablo is known as the Demon King in the game ''Cross Reverie''. He often introduces himself in the other world as the Demon King.

Diablo initially tried to rebuff her until she mentioned that the alternative is a BureaucraticallyArrangedMarriage, due to the fact that her upbringing requires her to marry the first guy to whom she willingly shows her naked body. Since she had endured a ShamefulStrip before Diablo showed up, and was more concerned with protecting her life than her modesty, Diablo sees playing along as "Kami-sama" being the safer option.
* UselessUsefulSpell: His level 30 spell, "Stardust" doesn't nurmally allow him to deliver much damage, but considering that it can be cast in rapid succession, at least for Diablo, allows him to keep it in his repertoire in many useful ways, primarily a smokescreen.
* WeirdnessMagnet: If something odd can happen near or to him, it will. Numerous characters lampshade this.
* WeWantOurJerkBack: Rem and Shera grow to become so accustomed to his JerkassFacade, that if he shows genuine tenderness, it terrifies them, and they are quickly relieved when he goes back into his "Demon King" persona.
* WildCard: He has no loyalty to any faction except his own which just happens to include Rem and Shera, (and little Krebskrum). He will become an ally, no matter how temporary, to anyone that serves their interests, and bring overwhelming force to bear on those that threaten them, even if they were "allies" just moments before.
* WillfullyWeak: He has the power to level entire towns. He strives to use the absolute ''minimum'' force he can, and still utterly obliterates just about anything and anyone he comes across without even trying. Those who can challenge him in the world setting can be counted on one hand, and even then, have to resort to WorfHadTheFlu to stand a chance.
* WrongGenreSavvy: On occasion. While the new world he finds himself in does run on the same mechanics as the game he knows and loves, there are numerous subtle differences that can make his knowledge get him or his companions in trouble. Fortunately, when he used to play Cross Reverie, he made it a habit to ignore the consesus or even his own first-hand knowledge to examine any situation he found himself in, and act accordingly.

* AmbiguouslyBi: She doesn't object very convincingly when Shera plays with her body, and she blushes when Diablo has her share Alicia's bed until such time as Rem gets accustomed to the idea of sharing a living space with Krebskrum.
* BarrierMaiden: She's got Demon King Krebskrum's soul trapped inside her, and if she dies, it comes flying out, "wrong". She inherited this fate from her mother... [[FridgeHorror which brings up all sorts of unpleasant questions.]] By the end of Volume 3, this no longer applies.
* BettyAndVeronica: The Veronica to Shera's Betty.
* CatGirl: A Pantherian, she has black cat ears and tail.
* DistractedFromDeath: She's well on her way there at the end of Volume 4. [[spoiler: She's described going into shock, if not rigor mortis, at the end of "part 4" which is the final chapter in the volume.]] Unfortunately at this point, Krebskrum is already consumed with hate and in a berserker state, no longer able to act rationally, forgetting why she's full of hate in the first place.

If ever she finds herself in battle without Diablo present, she gets her ass handed to her and taken away by nefarious individuals, forcing Diablo and Shera to come to her rescue. In her defense, this is due to her opponents being vastly overpowering, outclassing, outnumbering, or all of the above.
* FantasticArousal: Diablo accidentally finds out that her ears are...sensitive.
* FauxActionGirl: She doesn't get much opportunity to show it, but she is at least a level 40 adventurer in a world where level 50 is usually sufficient to become a guild leader. In the fight to rescue Shera from Kiira, although Diablo did take the lion's share of the elven army, she was clearly no slouch with her summons and hand to hand combat, pulling off a BackToBackBadasses OffscreenMomentOfAwesome. Sadly, while she is quite powerful and competent, her on-screen battles have her so badly outclassed that she needs rescue the vast majority of the time.
* HatesBaths: Combined with CatsHateWater. Justified because of very practical reasons. Pantherians like her don't bathe in pools of water well becuase their fur gets heavy and it affects their combat prowess, and if done outdoors, like in a river, it leaves their equipment unattended. She also points out that Pantherian sweat has no smell. A few paragraphs after Shera drags her into a river to bathe, ''right in front of Diablo'', her fears are justified as they are set upon by both Edelgart, who amazingly was ''not'' hostile, and bandits from the six races who were.
* ImmodestOrgasm: When she's set off, she's quite loud.

Lastly, as a summon, if some enemy does strike it down, it returns to Shera's hands as a gem, only needing a bit of time to recover before it can be summoned again.
* CassandraTruth: She mastered AuraVision as a small child, but nobody believed her. When she met Medios, her talent was officially recognized to the level that she could easily run a slaver caravan if she wanted.
* ChildProdigy: She was officially recognized as a level 40 archer, as a small child too young to be an adventurer. For example, she masters mana manipulation from being Diablo's model as he's learning it, and without practice, but wouldn't be able to plan out a budget for living expenses if the team didn't have Rem's resourcefulness to draw from.
* GoGoEnslavement: She does this '''to herself''', of her own volition, when she tries to get Diablo out of his funk due to his depression from overusing his MP. It happens to her again in Medios's tent while Diablo is learning Slavery magic as Medios puts her in an outfit designed for a sex-slave because it's the only thing she has that fits (or so she claims).
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Diablo describes her hair as so blonde that it could easily be mistaken for molten gold, and she's easily one of the sweetest and kindest women in fiction or reality.
* IJustWantToBeFree: She ran away from the elf kingdom and chose the path of a summoner so she wouldn't be shackled and treated like a puppet by her people's traditions, not to mention becoming a BabyFactory.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: The reason she's so desparate to make Diablo her summon, is that she's actually desperately lonely, and wants companions. When she sees that Rem and Diablo will happily fight on her behalf, she's overjoyed.
* ImmodestOrgasm: She's every bit as loud and sensitive as Rem.
* IncorruptiblePurePureness: To the point of AllLovingHero. She doesn't have a drop of malice, cruelty, deceit, or vice of any kind in her entire body. While she is aware that there are times where fighting, and even killing is unavoidable, she simply can not bring herself to bear a grudge against anyone, not even her depraved elder brother, who abused her horribly, and despite being well aware that he ''fully deserved'' the death he got, she still can't stop herself from mourning him.
* TheIngenue: While she's not stupid or mentally retarded, she's very immature, and childishly innocent. She thinks women get pregnant simply by ''sleeping beside'' a man. It seems she's never been around livestock, pets, or told how "the birds and the bees" work. She also engages in wildly erotic activity with Diablo, Rem, and Krebskrum because she knows it feels good, and wants them to feel good too, but doesn't fully grasp the implications or ramifications of her behavior.

She masters it completely, without practicing it herself, by simply being his practice model, and demonstrates her competence on Rem the moment they get to bed for the night. When she manages her first offical summon, Turkey Shot, Diablo suggests trying to snipe ''a coin'' using only the beast's sight to paint the target. She splits the coin in half, ''with her very first shot.''
* {{Irony}}: She set off, running away from the Elf kingdom, so she could be free because her own elder brother not only openly proclaimed his intent to make her a BabyFactory, but abused her and insists on calling her his slave. This is an apparent exception because as long as she's only around people she knows, trusts, and loves, she sees absolutely nothing wrong being underclothed or in behaving erotically.

* SkilledButNaive: She's officially considered a level 30 summoner by the adventurer's guild and a level 40 archer by the Greenwood kingdom when she was a child (Volume 5 reveals that her bow is suited for levels 70 & up so she is at least a level 70 archer), a powerful combination in most combat situations, but when it comes to day to day life, she's even more clueless than Diablo, who is a near helpless otaku.
* SleepCute: Think Rem's adorable? Well, when Shera glomps her in her sleep, and treats her as a body pillow, it triggers CutenessOverload ''in the readers of the manga!''

* EntertaininglyWrong: As Sylvie tells him that Diablo is not a bad person, as a result of her first-hand interactions with him, Galford retorts with a list of accusations that do fit neatly with the information he has on hand, but just happen to be 180 degrees out of character for what truly happened, except for the "attacking the Town lord" bit, where Sylvie reminds him that Galford is the one who attacked Diablo, not the other way around.
* FamedInStory: His exploits as a hero who single-handed fended off an army of demon beasts to protect the city of Faltra are well known.

* JerkassHasAPoint: In volume 4, the audience learns that Diablo's experience with the adventurers in Faltra is the exception, not the rule. In general, adventurers are a selfish, greedy, cowardly lot that will screw each other over, given the chance, and cannot be trusted.
* KillMeNowOrForeverStayYourHand: He ''dares'' Diablo to kill him after Diablo beats him in a duel to protect Shera. Diablo rightfully suspects a trap of some sort.
* LightningBruiser: Not only does he move so fast, even the level 150 Diablo can barely track him, but he hits hard enough to break metal.
* ManInWhite: Goes to show how wealthy he is since a white uniform easily gets dirty.

This leads him to make two critical mistakes. First, he calls Diablo "cowardly," looking to make excuses for his incompetence when he sought out mission-critical important info from Galford, which allows Diablo to counter with the fact that Galford did nothing during the invasion, and Galford launches a sneak attack after Diablo's exhausted from fighting with the Force Hydra to seize Shera, by force, killing everyone in his way on the pretext that "lowly adventurers can't secure Shera" despite the fact that Shera was only in prince Kiira's custody because the elven prince had used the citizens of Faltra as hostages to make it happen.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: He doesn't take chances in protecting the citly of Faltra. In order to keep the citizens safe, he's more than willing to launch a war of extermination against the elves, even if they've already surrendered, and hold their princess, Shera, hostage. He only made one small mistake, by antagonizing Diablo in the process.

* LargeHam: He has a very loud and boisterous personality. His "womanizing" antics are purely for show, and he does it purely to get a large reaction, good or bad. When a lady responds to them stoically, in a calm and rational manner, he's visibly downtrodden.
* MySignificanceSenseIsTingling: Subverted. He jokingly comments that he could "smell" Shera in trouble when he came to her rescue from kidnappers, but in truth had used his connections as the Warrior examiner for the Adventurer's guild to scout out Shera, when he heard of the bounty on her head, so he could be nearby if she needs help, which she did. It's also justified that looking out for the citizens of Faltra, of which Shera is a member, is also part of his job.
* TookALevelInBadass: His fight with Gregor and subsequent healing by Diablo's healing potion boosted his abilities so immensely, even Diablo did not recognize him on their next encounter until he took off his helmet and introduced himself, again.
