* ForWantOfANail: She's what Roza would have become had Roza truly lost her sister and had no emotional encouragement from anyone but herself.

* ForWantOfANail: Unlike Bronya, Bronie never went through the X-10 experiment, and as such retains the use of her legs and higher emotional responses, though this also means that she neither floats nor has an advanced RobotBuddy like Project Bunny 19C. With Project Bunny out of the picture, Bronie's a lone fighter who enjoys danger and employs various conventional weapons like firearms, grenades and bombs.

* OlderThanSheLooks: {{Exaggerated|Trope}}. Luna, like Theresa, hasn't physically aged since reaching around 12 years old, but she is far older than Theresa since she's a vampire. In "After the Blood Moon Fades", she uses a time dilation trick to try to escape the Captain, but he pursues her [[spoiler:and the distorted time is apparently long enough that she actually ages into an adult, represented by Lunar Vow: Crimson Love]].

* LoveTriangle: The Captain is in a love rectangle with Kongming, Luna, and Rita. Kongming and Luna are both head over heels for him and neither is willing to share, so whenever they're both with him, they constantly passive-aggressively snipe at each other and try to monopolize the Captain's attention. For his part, he's devoted to each of them in his own way and has yet to give any hint of choosing one, which annoys them both to some degree. He also does his best to ignore them when they're being catty to each other. Rita's attachment to the Captain is more about demure attraction; she coyly expresses her interest when they're together in private and doesn't hesitate to flirt with him regardless if anyone else is around, which gets under both Luna and Kongming's skins.

* TeethClenchedTeamwork: This seems to be the default state of everyone the Captain's brought to ''Hyperion'' as of the "[=TeRiRi's=] Magical Quest" and "Before the Endless Dream Ends" events. Kongming is as haughty as ever. Bronie and Delta would just as soon fight each other as be in the same room; Delta finds Bronie's irreverent attitude very irritating, while Bronie thinks Delta has a stick up her ass and enjoys needling her. Bronie also doesn't trust Yae Kasumi one bit, which Kasumi's secretive loner nature doesn't help with. Rita tries to be the peacemaker, but her personality and shifty ways mean no one fully likes or trusts her. On top of this, since Delta and Kasumi work for "the Ferryman", they are adversarial toward the Captain. Bronie and Rita initially pair up to help [=TeRiRi=], then run into Delta and Kasumi who have similarly teamed up, and after some initial friction they settle into an uneasy alliance behind [=TeRiRi=]...and then [[spoiler:it all goes south thanks to Luna Kindred's machinations]].

TheCaptain of the ''Hyperion'', who represents ''you'', the player, when you're not directly controlling the Valkyries. He isn’t part of the main storyline and only appears in certain events, especially ones where he travels to parallel universes.

* {{Determinator}}: In "The Day You Vanished With the Stars", he tries over and over to save Kongming from her fate, but he fails every time. Even after realizing that he's only a "pawn" in this whole "game", he keeps going on as that's the only thing he knows. After so many attempts to go back in the past by activating Tesla-Zero, she fully awakens, and goes on to explain everything to help him. She lampshades it, saying that he's the biggest tryhard she's ever seen, but it's also thanks to such persistence that he managed to awaken her in the first place. She says that the "future Captain" has set up the "consciousness mapping threshold" as "absurdly high", believing that the current Captain can reach it by his repeated attempts, and that he can find a completely different resolution than the future him did.

* CloningBlues: After her boss fight, Kallen says that she preserved Sakura's dead body to keep the Herrscher of Corruption inside her from going out and causing havoc. She first thought of creating a clone of Sakura so that she cold move the Herrscher into the new body, because Sakura's genes have a great affinity with the Honkai energy. But she ended up not going through with it because she grew attached to the clone, so she went with a second plan: the soul transfer experiments. When the clone gained a life, Kallen decided to bring her out, name her "Yae Kasumi", and send her to Schicksal, where she ended up being in Otto's care. Kallen's experiments failed, so she just stopped them and kept watching over the Yae Town and her lover's dead body for around 500 years. As the Herrscher of Corruption further reveals, the first soul transfer experiment actually succeeded: that was how Kasumi came to life, which means that Kasumi was indeed "Sakura" all along (even if she has her own identity and personality that she grew up with).

She returns in the "Before the Endless Dream Ends" and "After the Blood Moon Fades" events, seemingly as an adversary to the Captain and his companions.\\

Her battlesuit is Luna Kindred (A-rank BIO-type, physical, awakened Valkyrie Pledge) and her weapon is Blood Embrace.

She first appears near the end of the "Odd Drifter" event as the one masterminding the whole event in order to fix the anomaly that the Captain caused by mistake. In the "Honkai Kingdoms: Zero" event, she receives the Captain's help to slay a certain Honkai Beast that threatens her country. She also stars in the next event, "The Day You Vanished With The Stars".\\

She's also available as a stigmata set. In version 4.0 she becomes playable as a battlesuit of Theresa called "Starlit Astrologos" (A BIO, SP). Her signature weapon is Zither’s Lament.

The main character of the "Sanka Saga" event in version 3.6[[note]]rerun in version 5.1[[/note]], she’s a ninja from Shicksal’s "Anbu" section, who looks exactly like Yae Sakura and is helped by a mysterious informant called the Ferryman. She reappears in version 4.7, clashing with the hacker Bronie in another bubble universe.\\

Her battlesuit is Darkbolt Jonin (A-rank Bio-type, lightning). She was the first "SP" battlesuit introduced in the game, meaning she has special unlockable abilities.\\

Unlike most valkyries, she has no signature weapon, although Domain of Sanction and Seven Thunders of Retribution (the weapons of [[spoiler:Herrscher of Thunder]]) usually fill that role.

A mysterious wandering girl who appears in version 4.3's "Honkai Quest" event, where she’s searching for a certain "Dark Lord" with the young aspiring adventurer Seele. She combines the physical traits of both Rozaliya and Liliya but is a rather cynical and sarcastic girl with little patience.\\

Playable as an augment core upgrade of Molotov Cherry called "Fervent Tempo Δ". Her signature weapon is Sleeper’s Dream[[note]]pri-arm of both Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake[[/note]].

Becomes playable as the SP Bronya battlesuit Haxxor Bunny (A-rank PSY-type, ice) in version 4.7. Her signature weapon is Crusher Bunny 19C.

Becomes playable as Miracle ☆ Magical Girl (S-rank MECH-type, fire) in version 6.9. Her signature weapon is Dream Cutter[[note]]PRI-ARM: Dream Cutter: Polar Star[[/note]].

* HardLight: The introductory cutscene for "Arc: Light Bound"'s story mode reveals that her guns are hard light holograms. Near the end of the story, as she is talking to Kasumi, she mentions that she was born with the ability to proect the guns, as well as her drones.
