** Cheatball parodies Pokemon, being a strange creature that [[PokemonSpeak only says it's name]] and has very confusing battle mechanics. Cheatball is also known to transform into a spaceship, not unlike cabbit Ryoki from ''[[Anime/TenchiMuyo]]''.

* MagicalGirl: The Main Page variant for the universe features a version of Marzipan who looks almost identical to any of the [[Anime/SailorMoon Sailor Senshi]].

* HamAndCheese: Homestar does this as Stingy Relenque in "Dangeresque: Puppet Squad - the Hot Jones Hi-Jack!" with an ''outrageous'' French accent.

The {{Animesque}} 20X6 is the future where all the Homestar characters have Japanese cartoon versions of themselves. Here, everyone seems to be obsessed with challenging, especially Stinkoman (Strong Bad). There is currently a [[VideoGame/Stinkoman20X6 game]], in which Level 10 has been in the works for... a while now...

* AdaptationalVillainy: [[spoiler:Coach Z]] is possibly one of the least antagonistic characters among the Homestar Runner cast. Not this case in the 20X6 Universe.

* BigBad: For this universe, it seems to be a figure who is constantly in shadow. Fans seem to theorize based on his appearance that he’s this universe’s version of Coach Z.

* HiddenDepths: He's an avid metalhead, a decent if amateurish director in the ''Dangeresque'' movies, and occasionally shows a more keen awareness of the world than others, usually when [[JerkassHasAPoint pointing out the moronic activities of his neighbors.]]

* FakeHigh: Strong Sad somehow gets caffeine high from Sanka (a ''decaffinated'' coffee).

* DancePartyEnding: The time comes for everyone to bend at the knees, at which point they do.

* StylisticSuck: Basically what a movie made in a weekend would look like if Strong Bad was writing, starring, and directing.
