** This is easily the weakest incarnation of Godzilla to date, lacking the ability to shoot atomic breath or withstand assault from the military. This was actually an intentional decision to make him seem more like a giant frightened animal rather than an invincible force of destruction. The ''real'' threat comes from Godzilla's ability to produce hundreds of offspring that could potentially flood the world in Godzillas. Moreso when his son in the animated sequel can shoot radioactive fire, meaning the other 199 could have that ability. He also appears to not have a HealingFactor as his son in the animated series has one and can recover from injuries, but he's been wounded by 14 missiles, two from his encounter by US submarines, and 12 from F-15 jets.
** His animated version is even ''weaker''. While this version was put down by 12 missiles, it only took four to kill his animated version.

* AgeLift: This version of Godzilla was created by French nuclear testing in the South Pacific, which means it can't be more than thirty years old. As a result, this version of Godzilla is the youngest official take on the character by far.

* AscendedToCarnivorism: He's a mutated iguana, which are herbivores, but he eats fish and his offspring are also seen hunting humans. In ''Godzilla: The Series'', when his son is given a seaweed-based fish substitute, he spits it out in disgust.

* BreathWeapon: This is the only incarnation of Godzilla that lacks this ability, but as a reference, he can send cars flying, set off explosions by igniting the fuel, and then propel the flames, [[SuperScream by screeching]]. In ''Godzilla: The Series'', Cyber-Godzilla gained a blue version of his son's atomic breath thanks to the aliens' tampering.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: This Godzilla heavily contrasts the previous three: The [[Film/Godzilla1954 original]], [[Film/GodzillaRaidsAgain Showa]], and [[Film/TheReturnOfGodzilla Heisei]] Godzillas started out hating humans upon their reveal, but the Showa and Heisei Godzillas eventually lets go of their grudge against humans. This Godzilla is more curious and indifferent towards humanity, and unlike the other three, he would rather avoid conflict, but will retaliate when he's angry enough. The only commonality he has with the Showa and Heisei Godzillas is that he's fiercely protective of his children, and like Heisei Godzilla, he will go out of his way to attack someone responsible, not humanity as a whole. And just like Heisei Godzilla, he's just a lost big animal just trying to survive. He's only an antagonist because of the level of destruction he causes upon landing in New York, which wasn't intentional.
