He takes several hits from Kyubei and the Yorozuya, crashes from a tall building when the stairs fall apart, survives getting buried under dozens of wooden logs, breaks apart the log that Gintoki tries to smash down on his head with just a headbutt, and finally survives a huge barrage of kunai from Tsukuyo and the Hyakka. When Gintoki finally seems to have ended the fight by bashing a kunai through one of his horns and into his forehead, he gets back up shortly after with the kunai broken.

He is one of the few characters able to overpower Kagura. He first appears when aliens go berserk in Edo, and he uses the opportunity to take Kagura away with him, despite her desire to stay with the Yorozuya. He relents after fighting an especially powerful alien off together with Gintoki.
He's appeared rarely afterwards, first via a letter, warning Kagura about Sadaharu, and then via his own [[ADayInTheSpotlight day in the spotlight]]. He appears again after Gintoki defeats Hosen, warning him about Kamui, who now wants to fight Gintoki himself.

He takes several hits from Kyubei and the Yorozuya, crashes from a tall building when the stairs fall apart, survives getting buried under dozens of wooden logs, breaks apart the log that Gintoki tries to smash down on his head with just a headbutt, and finally survives a huge barrage of kunai from Tsukuyo and the Hyakka. When Gintoki finally seems to have ended the fight by bashing a kunai through one of his horns and into his forehead, he gets back up shortly after with the kunai broken.

He first appears when aliens go berserk in Edo, and he uses the opportunity to take Kagura away with him, despite her desire to stay with the Yorozuya. He relents after fighting an especially powerful alien off together with Gintoki.
He's appeared rarely afterwards, first via a letter, warning Kagura about Sadaharu, and then via his own [[ADayInTheSpotlight day in the spotlight]]. He appears again after Gintoki defeats Hosen, warning him about Kamui, who now wants to fight Gintoki himself.
