* TheStoic: Hilichurl rogues seldom interact with the other hilichurls much, only helping their tribes out if necessary and then going back on their merry way as recluses. Because of this, they have calm and tranquil personalities in their lifestyles to the point that they don't shout any grunts, roars, and battle cries in combat, and in general, hardly ever talk. They'll only utter out a barely-audible post-mortem phrase in Hilichurian when defeated.

* ShootTheMageFirst: Samachurls do not hold up well in direct combat, with their only defense against a player that closes the gap on them being a slow staff whack (albeit one with a high knockback rate), then retreating to a safe distance. Their main strength is the various GeoEffects they can create on the battlefield, such as creating platforms for ranged enemies to sit out of reach, sprouting vines to restrict movement, creating wind vacuums to hold you in one spot, and summoning rain clouds to heal allies under it (which overlaps with ShootTheMedicFirst). They will make fighting the other enemies harder for you, so it is best to take them out first.

Restoring this bit of the entry I removed a while ago because, on further examination, the contrast it offers is still relevant to the mystery of why mask types for each hilichurl sub-species differ.

* BlindfoldedVision: Many hilichurls wear masks with no visible eye holes in them, being just flat surfaces that bear either their tribal insignia or the symbols of their elements. Despite this, they're still able to accurately "see" and attack your characters without any impairment to their performances. Their behavior and role as tribalistic {{mook}}s are very obviously based on is similar in role to the bokoblins from ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild'', while the stockier mitachurls resemble moblins. Their dark grey skin, manes, and the horns on their helmets also invoke the appearance of lynels, especially bokoblins, being smaller beings that fight with mitachurls and lawachurls, which closely resemble a bipedal version of clubs, though the lion-men. slight difference is that they substitute bows for crossbows as ranged weapons. The unarmed hilichurl in-particular in particular even have share a similar animation to an unarmed bokoblin where they dig-up dig up dirt and throwing fling it with their left hands.hands.
** The stockier and muscular mitachurl is based on the moblins, both primarily act as hard-hitters while their smaller brethren serve as a distraction for them to open up an attack. Similarily to moblins, mitachurls will throw someone as a projectile (though in their case, it's slimes rather than hilichurls). The difference between the two is that the mitachurl is slightly smarter, not only they can infuse their axes with slimes, but can even use them to reconstruct their shields if it's destroyed (though only the Wooden Shield variants are observed doing it).

Added DiffLines:

* {{Expy}}: Interestingly not to hinoxes (a cousin to the moblins and bokoblins), but rather lynels. They are gigantic, hard-hitting opponents that are not to be underestimated, and their general appearance is closer to that of the latter as they sport long horns and their manes give them a resemblance to lion-men. The difference between the two is that the lawachurl is bipedal rather than quadrupedal, and, in-lieu of weapons, they simply enhance themselves with their respective elements to deal devastating punches and [=AoE=] attacks.
