* SharpDressedMan: He wears a formal attire, with the same striped purple necktie that he had way back as "Dawei" from ''[=HI3=]''.
* UniqueEnemy: {{Downplayed}}. Only one Unusual Hilichurl can spawn in the whole map at any given time. After killing him, he will immediately respawn somewhere else. And after killing him for the second time, there will be a 12-hour cooldown before he spawns again. This odd spawning restriction is then set on a cycle.

A rare type of Hilichurl introduced in Version 1.1. He's a hilichurl avatar version of Forrest Wei Liu, the CEO of miHoYo.

* TheFaceless: His "face" is only a pair of eyebrows and the hanzi for "Wei".

* AlwaysChaoticEvil: Not only always evil and eager to attack anyone they see, but also chaotic, such that it's deemed suspicious whenever they perform anything resembling a coordinated strategy. However, later quests move towards [[SubvertedTrope subverting]] this: A pair of daily commissions involves a girl trying to learn their language, and she enlists your help to practice on a friendlier tribe than usual. During Venti's story quest, you encounter a Hilichurl who's carrying a shield you need. It's possible to talk it into giving you the shield without a fight, but with the wrong dialogue options, it will grow angry and attack.

One of the most common monsters in the world of Teyvat, Hilichurls are masked, tribal, goblin-like, humanoid creatures that live out in the wilderness. While they have limited intelligence, that doesn't mean they're not dangerous. Later on, it’s revealed that the Abyss Order has taken control of them and used them for organized attacks on Mondstadt to further their schemes.

* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Dendro Mitachurls wield very big wooden shields, making them practically invulnerable unless they're in the middle of attacking.
