Verel willingly ceded the Central Globe's facilities for the EDEN explorers to utilize and was promptly relegated to the sidelines as the NEUE Survey Campaign and the Rune Angel Wing Recruitment began.

First, he retreats into ABSOLUTE and seals the NEUE Chrono Gate from inside, thinking that Tact's fleet won't be able to pursue him, until Kazuya and his chosen Angel manage to do so with the help of the Fairies. The three regents of the Arms Alliance serving as retainers to the Duke of Izayoi. The Three Marquis represent each of the three planets that make up their civilization, Cudgel, Pike, and Hatchet. Around half a year after Verel's attempted takeover of ABSOLUTE, the Arms Alliance entered Seldar space after decades of exile to wage war on Seldar and its allies, conquering the nearby planets as well as the planet itself without any resistance using technology far more advanced than thought to be capable of their civilization. The Three Marquis personally issue a challenge to the Luxiole and the Rune Angel Wing to face them in combat, and if they should refuse or try to run away, they threaten to destroy a planet. They consistently refer to their deeds as all "part of the game" to obtain "the key" and reveal that they are working under their own set of rules similar to the challenges they issue to the Luxiole and the Rune Angel Wing.

Most notably, they end up sharing a similarly dark fate as both groups end up [[spoiler: forcibly integrating with their ships by orders of their benefactor.]]

They set up rules for their confrontations with the Luxiole and the Rune Angel Wing, but they still try to stack the odds in their own favor, like Benedictine forbidding sneak attacks after the heroes defeat Calvados with such a tactic, and demanding that they don't ask for assistance from the Magiic fleet. Still, they're willing to allow their foes some time to prepare and resupply between battles.
