Dr. Mizzete Brown was a doctor who worked at an USN field hospital near Fort Monus. [[spoiler: It turned out he was one of the most important scientists behind the BD Project, but had ran away because he didn't want to help with the ethically questionable practices. He was thus wanted by the OCU, who feared he might expose the truth to the world]]. [[spoiler: He was also involved with the Grimnir terrorist organization, who were working against globalist forces such as the OCU]].

* MrExposition: His role after [[spoiler: the Crows defeated his forces in the Spirit of Huffman HQ (Mission 22). Being a former employee of Sakata Industries, he knew a lot about the inner details of the BD Project. In fact, after the said battle, he told the Crows about the Nirvana Institute factory (which the Crows then investigated), kicking start the next arc - Crows attempting to bring down the BD Project]].

Leader of the terrorist group "Soul/Spirit of Huffman." Gentz once spied on a factory of Sakata Industries, and the information he gathered drove him to attempt to bring down the company once and for all. He tried to assassinate Chairman Reniji Sakata once, as well as targeting Koichi the President by association. Gentz is being constantly thwarted by Driscoll and the Black Hounds until [[spoiler:Frederick attempts to stop the Canyon Crows' last battle against the Spirit of Huffman. While the Crows later investigate an abandoned factory, Driscoll and the Hounds waiting for them to show, Gentz was waiting for the Hounds to appear. Gentz is a Crows member from then onward]].

It ended with the Type 90 losing control and Laurent dying. After the fight that ensued, Gilmore attempted to poke around Laurent's machine, and was caught by the Silver Lynxes. Kevin and co. finally had enough and intimidated Gilmore, who then confided to them about the BD Project and the truth of the Second Huffman Conflict. It inspired Kevin to embark on his quest to expose the truth]].

* MakeItLookLikeAnAccident: [[spoiler: At the neutral town of Lark Valley, when a "black op" shipment of [=OCU=] subjects for the BD project was compromised by Kevin accidentally discovering the transfer, Maria called Driscoll who then told Winger to initiate contingency protocol which resulted in the shipment and Lark Valley being destroyed with cruise missiles. Kevin then stormed into Winger's office and angrily demanded to know why he gave the order to destroy a neutral town and all of the innocent civilians living there to which Winger blatantly lied and claimed that what Kevin saw a concealed [=OCU=] base]].
* TheManBehindTheMan: [[spoiler: Brigadier General Patrick S. Winger, a High-ranking Officer who is responsible for managing the USN side of the BD Project, was released back to civilian status after a lack of evidence and key witnesses to prove his involvement in the conspiracy concluded his trial in only a dishonorable discharge. The USN Intelligence Agency actually allowed Winger to go free in order to find his superiors who are the real authority behind the BD Project]].

* BigDamnHero: She stepped in to save the day when the Black Hounds B-team (i.e., Kevin, Johnny, and Matthew) were getting trounced by a mobile weapon (USN Mission 1).
