* KamehameHadoken: Guaranteed to be part of his powers. His actual Kamehameha is powerful enough to make a huge crater in the ground that future archaeologists would think that a dragon nested in it.

* RageBreakingPoint: Hits it in chapter 144 where he drops the TechnicalPacifist shtick and decides he's going to make sure that Nirix never hurts anyone ever again.

* KryptoniteFactor: [[spoiler:Because she is half-etherious]] Kallen's power can be sapped by exposure to high concentrations of ethernano, such as the quantities found in certain types of lachryma as revealed by her battle with Ambassador Armstrong.

His father, Genbu, was an S-class mage in Fighting Spirit when it was still known as Angel’s Feather.

Genbu Found Suzaku on his doorstep during his vacation from the guild about a year after he was mind controlled by Selina Victoria of the dark guild Demon’s Horn. He raised Suzaku on his own and trained him in the art of kinetics.

After Hebiga Shinigeki fails to ColonyDrop [[{{Lunacy}} the moon]] into Earthland, [[ForegoneConclusion resulting in the disbandment of Angel’s Feather]], Suzaku is the only one who believes that Selina is sincere in wanting to help the guild take its desired revenge on Demon’s Horn.

As of chapter 112, [[spoiler:Suzaku is now the guild master of Sabertooth]].

* MyGreatestFailure: Zig-zagged. [[spoiler:Suzaku ‘’NEVER’’ sought anyone’s death when he turned Lelouch in and betrayed Knightmare Frame. He was just following his principles and he realizes that his actions caused the death of Marianne. However, he firmly believes that he made the right choice in bringing Lelouch’s actions to the attention of the council, so good luck getting him to apologize for it]].

** The Power Of Order which he receives during the Oracion Seis arc takes this UpToEleven

* WhatTheHellHero: ''Nobody'', both in-universe and out, seems to be letting him get away with [[spoiler:Selling out Lelouch to the council]]. Read some of the reviews and how many people are calling for Suzaku's castration. [[spoiler:Euphie's breakup speech in particular also deserves a mention]].

* ShoutOut: His last name borrows its namesake from a character from VideoGame/TalesOfVesperia. However, while Cornelia’s last name later led to an Expy of her namesake, Schneizel’s namesake already has an Expy so it’s unknown if there’s to be a connection drawn.

17 years ago, Guinevere was a high ranking noble along with Schneizel and their friends. Their souls were sealed inside a sword for seven long years. Upon being freed, their home and family were gone. Eventually both she and Schneizel found their way to Knightmare Frame. Guinevere apparently met Carine Celestine before arriving at the guild.

As of chapter 108, Guinevere is [[spoiler:The only S-class mage in Mermaid Heel and it's pride and joy]].

* NumberTwo: She is this to Undine as her guild master refers to her as her First Mate.

** When she reappears in chapter 108, she is this to the entirety of the Mermaid Heel guild as she's older than every last one of its members sans the guild master herself.

* OutGambitted: [[spoiler:Lelouch becomes so desperate to take VV down that he walks right into a trap set by Teak to garnish his help into stealing a priceless artifact from the council. Teak even outs Lelouch as Zero. The only reason Lelouch isn't in prison and Teak isn't dead is because [[CantKillYouStillNeedYou both need the other alive for various reasons]].

* {{Badass}}: Certainly no question, but as of X788, he has it in him to use Amaterasu upwards to formula 55.

* {{Badass}}: Where Erza, Jura, Jellal and Kasumi all failed, Kallen manages to go toe to toe with Zero by [[spoiler:activating the true power of her takeover magic]]. Also, to date, Kallen has yet to lose a legitimate fight when in her demonic form except to Nonette in chapter 9.

* CharacterDevelopment: Goes from being so scared of her own power that she won't so much as look at her right arm, to a bonafide {{Badass}} willing to take down anything in her path with no concern about if someone will be all right or not. She simply ''knows'' having been TaughtByExperience.

* FriendlyRivalry: With Suzaku. Despite their difference in ideology they get along pretty well. Kallen even describes their relationship as this. [[spoiler:Or rather [[WeUsedToBeFriends at least it was this way at first]].

* LateArrivalSpoiler: The fact that she's a demon takeover mage, along with her SuperPoweredEvilSide is established as earlier as chapter 9. The series is well past that point now.

* TheWorfEffect: While Kallen is utterly terrifying when she's in a full demonic state, she's been beaten soundly twice despite her immense power, once by Oracion Seis' Zero and the other time by Edolas' Knight of Four [[spoiler:Acnologia]].
