[[folder:In General]]
* CallingYourAttacks: Just like in the game, the characters shout out the name of their attacks when they use them.
* CharacterDevelopment: In an interesting twist, most of the cast already have their character development off screen and have matured into adults near the beginning of the story. However, that doesn't stop them from learning with each other about how important friends are.
* ColorCodedCharacters: Elsword is red, Aisha is purple, Rena is green, Raven is black/dark grey, Eve is pink, Chung is light blue, Ara is orange and Elesis is crimson.
* IGotBigger: The group was quite surprised to see how tall Elsword and Chung became after their separation.
* PlotRelevantAgeUp: Everyone, but most apparent with Elsword and Raven. Less so, but still apparent with Aisha and Chung. It's hard to tell with Rena and Eve due to them being an immortal elf and a Nasod respectively.
* StatusBuff: Aisha is capable of casting a support spell that can temporarily increase the stats of her comrades.
* SuperMode: Each of the protagonists are able to perform the "Awakening Mode" in which their bodies are flooded with the power of El and their speed, power, reflexes, and senses are doubled. In order of who learned it, Rena was first, Aisha was second, Raven was third, Eve was fourth, Chung was fifth, and Elsword was sixth.
* TookALevelInBadass: All of them have grown to become incredibly strong but the most notable example has to go toward Elsword and Chung. They both drastically improved their overall abilities to the point where they both could be considered One-Man Armies.
* TrueCompanions: Not so apparent at first but as time goes on and they go on more adventures, their bond increases to the point that not a single one of them would ever leave one another.
* VictoryPose: [[spoiler:At the end of the prologue, where it shows the El Team posing in victory when they defeated King Nasod.]]

Rena is an elf living in the mortal world. Her place in this world is jeopardized by the weakening of El, the power gems that energize everything including the connection to her home world. If this power fades the ties that bind the two planes will vanish as will Rena herself. She uses her abilities as a Ranger to protect the El and her friends.

Rena is a marksman with ranged weapons but can call on the elements to fuel her magic attacks as well. When cornered though, she has no problem striking enemies with her awesome kicks. She also has the ability to seemingly fly through the air with her double jump.

After the group had defeated King Nasod and returned the El to Ruben Village, Rena decided to go back to her Elf Village to protect the El crystal from bandits and other criminals. It was during this time that the Elder from her village entrusted her with Evergreen, the bow of the fairies.

Using her new found bow, Rena continued to grow as an archer and within a almost a full year was recognized as the most powerful Elf Guardian in her village.

In the time she spent at home, she grew more graceful and more patient with her temper and opted herself to become more lady like for a certain someone.

* 1st Weapon: Evergreen (Received when she became an Elf Guardian)

Aisha was already a mage of the highest order at the tender age of 12 until a ring of sinister power absorbed her abilities. Intelligent and brash, she once again starts her journey to relearn all that she lost.

Aisha is a mage who relies on her spell-casting abilities to inflict major damage to an opponent. She also has the abilities to attack multiple targets at once. All of the Mage's spells are elemental, meaning she can gain an advantage by tailoring her attacks to a monsters natural element. In hand to hand combat, she favors the staff.

After the group had defeated King Nasod and returned the El to Ruben Village, Aisha thought it was a good idea to go back to her hometown and finish her studies to become a certified mage.

In only half a year, Aisha graduated from her final year in Magic Class and was gifted enough to become a Mage instructor at the age of 18. Through the months, Aisha became more strict and clung to her studies a lot more often, but didn't forget about the adventures she shared with her close friends, especially with a red haired brat.

Even with her powers sealed by the mysterious ring, her powers are still far greater than any mage in her hometown and she is recognized as one of the most dangerous woman in all of Elrios.

* 1st Weapon: Star Wand (Received when she became an instructor of Magicians Academy)

A Velder commoner who nevertheless crawled his way up and made a name for hismelf as the captain of his mercenary group. That is, until he got beaten (and his senses got beaten back in) by Elsword and co; he now works alongside them in atonement for his sins.

Raven excels in close combat as he uses his Nasod arm to strike down enemies with a single blow to those who dare get near him. He also uses his sword to slice up anything in his path in order to build up all sorts of combos to tear down the enemy.

After the group had defeated King Nasod and returned the El to Ruben Village, Raven followed Elsword to Velder Kingdom in order to watch out for him until he felt he was ready to go on his own. In his short time with the young boy, Raven taught Elsword everything he knew about fighting and reservation in his fighting style, which in turn changed Elsword’s personality completely.

After leaving him at Velder, Raven decided to travel to ancient Nasod sites where he could train alone and find a way to gain full control of his left arm.
