!!Shooting Starlight

* CityOfAdventure: The entire planet is regarded as such thanks to Shooting Starlight, an AdventureGuild where different races far and wide gather to obtain passports to all kinds of worlds.
* FloatingWater: There is a floating river of water in the sky as a result of the planet's Water Ether, which can also be seen from space.
* MegaCity: Every square inch of the planet seen by Shiki is a bustling metropolis filled with mountains of spires, floating buildings, and a river of Water Ether that floats through midair.

* AdventureGuild: The guild is as an "adventurer's guild", but is more mundanely portrayed as a passport agency and center of information that grants commercial access to other planets and cosmoses. Also, despite kicking off the central plot by introducing Shiki to Mother (or in the anime's case, refamiliarizing him with it), the guild as an entity falls to the wayside as soon as the ''Edens Zero'' is introduced, since exploring the cosmos the old-fashioned way in a big, fancy spaceship gives the main characters a more romanticized sense of adventure that they wouldn't get from simply booking a flight.

* FantasticRankSystem: The guild is said to have this, with Rank E (Shiki, Rebecca, and Happy's rank) being the lowest. Nothing else is ever brought up about it again, though.

* TrueCompanions: An {{enforced}} [[AvertedTrope aversion]] to hammer home the difference between this series and its [[Manga/FairyTail spiritual predecessor]]. Shiki is sorely disappointed that the guild is just a place of business where no one outside a few cliques gives each other the time of day, not at all like the warm and welcoming guilds from [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall a certain manga and anime that came out long ago]]. Apart from [[NiceGirl Clarisse]] and [[AlphaBitch Labilia]], the only time anyone acknowledges Shiki is to make fun of him for being [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer a friend-obsessed weirdo who believes Mother actually exists]], and no one notices Rebecca's existence at all until her channel gets a surge in popularity.

* AmbiguouslyEvil: Upon his introduction, the crew has ample reason to suspect him of having ties to Guilst's criminal underworld, which seems to be confirmed when they find out he willingly sold them out to Drakken Joe. Despite this, his motives behind doing so remain shrouded in mystery before he's finally confirmed to be a SociopathicHero who's secretly working against Drakken in a BatmanGambit involving Rebecca's Cat Leaper power.

* SociopathicHero: What he's revealed to be after being built up as a traitor to the ''Edens Zero'' crew. He doesn't feel a shred of guilt for any of his morally questionable actions, seeing them as for the security and goodwill of the Sakura Cosmos, yet he remains firmly on the ''Edens Zero''[='=]s side despite the bad blood between him and Shiki over his endangerment of Rebecca.

* CowardlyLion: Despite her emotional frailty, she meekly sticks up for Shiki and pretends not to know him when [[SpacePirates Elsie Crimson and her crew]] come looking for him. Granted, she didn't know that Elsie had purely good intentions, but considering that Elsie is one of the most [[TheDreaded dreaded]] outlaws in the cosmos, the fact that she stood her ground at all is nothing short of admirable.

The Planet of Adventurers, a bustling metropolis world where Rebecca and Happy live. Also known as the Water Planet, it is abundant in Water Ether that manifests as a river flowing through the sky.

[[folder:In General]]
* CityOfAdventure: The entire planet is regarded as such thanks to Shooting Starlight, an AdventureGuild where different races far and wide gather to obtain passports to all kinds of worlds.
* FloatingWater: There is a floating river of water in the sky as a result of the planet's Water Ether, which can also be seen from space.
* MegaCity: Every square inch of the planet seen by Shiki is a bustling metropolis filled with mountains of spires, floating buildings, and a river of Water Ether that floats through midair.
[[/folder]]

!!Shooting Starlight

[[folder:In General]]
An adventurers guild where members obtain passports to travel to different planets. Shiki, Rebecca, and Happy are members of this guild, but they don't have much attachment to it, seeing it as more of a window to adventure than a place to call family.
----
* AdaptationalJerkass: Everyone in the guild is already a jerk to Shiki from the start when they make fun of him for saying he's met Mother before, but the anime ramps it up a notch due to splitting his first visit into two separate ones across two episodes, since it gives the guild another chance to poke fun at him. It also sets up their reaction to Shiki better when he mistakes the hologram of Mother for the genuine article, with a couple of members muttering that he must have a screw loose as he tearfully wishes for his friends to go back to normal.
* TheCameo: The members of [[Manga/FairyTail Shadow Gear (Levy, Jet, and Droy)]] make brief appearances as members.
* FantasticRankSystem: The guild is said to have this, with Rank E (Shiki, Rebecca, and Happy's rank) being the lowest. Nothing else is ever brought up about it again, though.
* {{Jerkass}}: Right after Shiki says how he feels he's seen Mother before, virtually everyone in the guild (minus [[NiceGirl Clarisse]]) bursts out laughing at him and his utter failure to read the room when he thinks they want to be his friends. While their disbelief is somewhat [[JustifiedTrope understandable]] by how everyone who's ever claimed to have seen Mother turned out to be a faker, the way they beat Shiki over the head with something even he's not sure is true proves that his plan to make TrueCompanions out of them was doomed from the start.
* TrueCompanions: An {{enforced}} [[AvertedTrope aversion]] to hammer home the difference between this series and its [[Manga/FairyTail spiritual predecessor]]. Shiki is sorely disappointed that [[SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome the guild is just a place of business]] where no one outside a few cliques gives each other the time of day, not at all like the warm and welcoming guilds from [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall a certain manga and anime that came out long ago]].

!!!'''Ether Gear:''' [[MagicalEye Eye of God]]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ez_noah_anime.png]]

Shooting Starlight's mysterious guild master, which serves as his cover as director of the Galactic Intelligence Agency's Sakura Cosmos branch. His Ether Gear, "Eye of God", allows him to keep track of any human's movements across space and time.
----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: Upon his introduction, the crew has ample reason to suspect him of having ties to Guilst's criminal underworld, which seems to be confirmed when they find out he willingly sold them out to Drakken Joe. Despite this, his motives behind doing so remain shrouded in mystery before he's finally confirmed to be a SociopathicHero who's secretly working against Drakken in a BatmanGambit involving Rebecca's Cat Leaper power.
* TheAtoner: {{Downplayed}}. He doesn't feel guilty at all about using Rebecca as a pawn to defeat Drakken, but [[MoralSociopathy he also acknowledges that it wasn't very noble of him, either]], so he entrusts the crew with his secret identity to make them even, knowing that he will lose everything if his secret is leaked to anybody.
* BatmanGambit: It's implied that all of the danger he put the crew through was done with the knowledge that Rebecca would use her [[MentalTimeTravel Cat Leaper]] to get them out of it, honing her skills to use against Drakken Joe.
* {{Bishonen}}: He's a dashing young man with bushy locks.
* TheChessmaster: He refers to the crew as characters in a story, and reads their movements to predict their actions and use them to his own advantage.
* DeepCoverAgent: As guild master of Shooting Starlight, he acts as a [[AmbiguouslyEvil shady]] KnowledgeBroker who seems to have close ties to [[TheDreaded Drakken Joe]]. In reality, he's the G.I.A. director of the Sakura Cosmos and has been secretly working towards Drakken's downfall the entire time.
* DubNameChange: His Eye of God is called "God Eye" in Japanese.
* EasilyForgiven: {{Downplayed}}. Despite being used by Noah as pawns in his plan to defeat Drakken, Rebecca and the rest of the crew don't hold anything against him for it. Shiki, on the other hand, hesitates to be friends with someone who deliberately put Rebecca's life in danger without remorse. [[spoiler:[[TimeSkip Three years later]], Shiki still holds a grudge against Noah.]]
* GoodAllAlong: {{Downplayed}}. He appears to be an enemy of the crew when he sells them out to Drakken Joe, but later reveals himself to be a SociopathicHero who did it so they could defeat Drakken.
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: He admits that selling Rebecca into slavery on Guilst, and later giving all his intel on the ''Edens Zero'' to Drakken Joe, are completely inexcusable methods of taking Drakken down. He also doesn't feel the least bit sorry for any of it, simply seeing it as another part of his job.
* KnowledgeBroker: He's in charge of a guild where information from countless planets flows like the blood, including things that can't be found online, and he's readily willing to sell that info for a price, including to known criminals such as Drakken Joe.
* MagicalEye: His Ether Gear, appropriately named the "Eye of God", lets him observe the exact position of every person in the world through his eyes, which are covered in Ether lines. He initially believed this to be a [[WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway pointless power]] since technology has already advanced to that level, until he found out it also works on a person's ''temporal'' position, namely Rebecca's [[MentalTimeTravel time-leaping]], and lets him keep track of how many times it's activated.
* MoralSociopathy: While he feels no remorse for selling Rebecca and the rest of the ''Edens Zero'' crew out to Drakken Joe, putting them all in mortal peril to fully awaken Rebecca's Ether Gear, he also comprehends that it was still a horrible thing to do, and he still has the Sakura Cosmos's best interests at heart.
* MrExposition: He hands out {{Info Dump}}s about the true extent of Rebecca's power, Drakken's immortality, and [[spoiler:the nature of the {{Multiverse}} that Rebecca finds herself traveling]].
* NoOneSeesTheBoss: He apparently never sets foot outside his office, and Rebecca and Happy have never seen him in person for as long as they've been at the guild. Meanwhile, he has tabs on all the guild's members, including the crew of the ''Edens Zero''.
* RebelLeader: [[spoiler:He takes up this role in the BadFuture where Rebecca lost her Ether Gear along with her legs, acting as a source of council for Shiki, one of the ''Edens Zero'' crew's sole survivors alongside Rebecca.]]
* WellIntentionedExtremist: His plan to defeat Drakken Joe involves getting chummy with him and selling Rebecca out, letting her and her friends suffer horrifically so she can unlock her Cat Leaper and uncover information on his weaknesses.

----
* AscendedExtra: She has a fair bit more screentime and prominence in the Dream Corridor {{sidequest}}s in ''Pocket Galaxy'', which are set in an AlternateUniverse where the ''Edens Zero'' crew focus more on working at the guild than searching for Mother.
* BespectacledCutie: Clarisse is a glasses-wearing sweetheart.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: She has amber-blonde hair, reflecting her status as one of the nicest and most sensitive people Shiki and Rebecca know in Shooting Starlight.
* NiceGirl: She's the only person in the guild who talks to Shiki and Rebecca without being a total {{Jerkass}} about it.
* OutOfFocus: She gets a bit of prominence in the early portions of the story and a couple of chapter covers, but barely shows up at all after she calls the crew when they leave planet Guilst.

An insufferable, ultra-popular B-Cube celebrity who runs the aptly named Labilia Channel. She has an especially nasty relationship with Rebecca, and is dedicated to completely ruining her day whenever and wherever she can.
----
* AbhorrentAdmirer: She has her sights set on Shiki, if only because she's starstruck by his Gravity Ether Gear. However, he couldn't care less about her obsession with him, and is completely put off by her unrelenting spite towards Rebecca.
* AlphaBitch: She's one of the most popular members of the guild, but she charges insane amounts of money for autographs and handshakes (the former of which is really a drawing of a turd), and judging from their interactions, she insults Rebecca's videos regularly. For bonus points, her fans in the English translation call her "Libby", the former trope name.
* TheAtoner: [[spoiler:Due to the hardships she's suffered over the TimeSkip, including her looming terminal disease, Labilia has become remorseful over her behavior towards Rebecca and Happy, and decides to spend her final days making it up to them as much as she can.]]
* BadInfluencer: As TheBully who's also one of the most popular B-Cubers on the web, Labilia doesn't settle for simply making fun of her in person; she also hosts livestreams dedicated solely to her and her followers watching and making fun of her content. Then there's the prank [[CoveredInGunge gunge]] video she dupes Rebecca into starring in on Sun Jewel, baiting her into thinking it's a friendly collab out of respect for her recent boost in popularity, and rallying the entire audience to point and laugh at her once she's been had.
* BadassNormal: [[spoiler:Despite not possessing an Ether Gear or any cybernetic enhancements, she's a master of the Dancing Sakura Style of Karate, and is skilled enough to briefly overwhelm a WillfullyWeak Rebecca, who's spent the past three years fighting Ziggy's Skeleton Army.]]
* BreakTheHaughty:
** {{Subverted}} in the Belial Gore arc, where the usually smug Labilia is seen in World No.29 as a bloodied, trembling, broken mess after Drakken Joe put her through an off-screen NoHoldsBarredBeatdown. When the crew go to save her in World No.30, however, it's revealed that [[{{Humanshifter}} Amira]] took her place and stuffed her in a safe place to hide. Even though she's forced to acknowledge that Rebecca wanted to save her, Labilia's personality stays petty and demeaning.
** [[spoiler:She experiences this for real at some point during the TimeSkip, where she's lost most of popularity while Rebecca moved up in the ranks, and her illness has also started to catch up with her. She is aware she doesn't have much time left, and works to make amends.]]
* TheBully: She serves as one for Rebecca, lobbing insults at the "bottom-level B-Cuber" and her "junky little cat Hoppy" regularly, and publicly humiliating her on Sun Jewel just to make her feel like crap. It becomes more poignant when Rebecca reveals [[WeUsedToBeFriends they used to be friends]].
* BystanderSyndrome: She reports on Shura's decision to wage war on all robots in the Aoi Cosmos, but brags that it doesn't affect her.
* DamselInDistress: Between the Sun Jewel and Belial Gore arcs, Drakken Joe captures Labilia and has her beaten to within an inch of her life, thinking that Labilia getting her comeuppance would convince Rebecca to join him. Not wanting to leave Labilia in Drakken Joe's hands, Rebecca asks the ''Edens Zero'' crew in the next world to help her save Labilia. When they arrive, however, they find out Labilia was already saved by Amira, who took her place at the prison and hid her away at a dance club.
* DelicateAndSickly: [[spoiler:She was sickly as a child and needed to spend all her time resting on a hospital bed. In the present day, while fit enough to hold her own and even outmatch Rebecca in an Ether Gear-free fight, her sickness has reached terminal stages.]]
* EveryoneHasStandards:
** Despite her bad manners towards Rebecca and Happy, she can't help but look disquieted after learning how her fellow B-Cubers on Blue Garden are being kidnapped.
** PlayedForLaughs when [[spoiler:she meets Sister, who tells her about the kinky torture she's inflicted on Rebecca in the past, with Labilia muttering that she never did anything that mean to Rebecca.]]
* ExpositoryHairstyleChange: [[spoiler:By the time she shows up on Dahlia, her long, flashy hair gets cut down to a short bob to illustrate her change from a haughty showoff to a timid recluse, with only her floating ponytail to identify her.]]
* FamedInStory: By the time she's introduced, Labilia brags that there isn't a single person in the Sakura Cosmos who doesn't know her name.
* FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse: [[spoiler:A self-admitted example. After the TimeSkip, she admits that the reason for her nastiness towards Rebecca was out of disappointment that the girl who gave her a new lease on life wasn't reaching her full potential as a B-Cuber, but is quick to add that it doesn't excuse the mean things she's done because of it.]]
* GrudgingThankYou: After getting rescued from the ''Belial Gore'', Labilia sees fit to thank Rebecca for trying to save her life, but makes it clear that she does it because she hates being upstaged by her. She goes right back to teasing her immediately after that--with a video she filmed before thanking her, no less--though now on the grounds of a rival instead of a mere bully.
* HateSink: She only speaks to Rebecca to make unprovoked insults towards her and Happy, overcharges her admirers and treats them like crap, and is an easy target for Shiki's rage. Later, she pulls a nasty prank on Rebecca on Sun Jewel while also falsely claiming to have information to help the group before running off.
* HiddenDepths: [[spoiler:Due to her history as a DamselInDistress, Labilia catches Rebecca off guard with the fact that she's a highly skilled ''[[UsefulNotes/{{Karate}} karateka]]'' who can put her on the ropes in a fight (without Rebecca using Ether Gear, that is). The reason she doesn't fight more often is that it clashes with her image as an influencer.]]
* HitMeDammit: [[spoiler:She goads Rebecca into a fistfight to let her vent all her frustrations over the cruel tormenting Labilia put her through over the years.]]
* HowTheMightyHaveFallen: [[spoiler:Labilia is reintroduced on Dahlia getting heckled by a gang of hoodlums over her plummeted popularity. To rub salt in the wound, she watches those very same hoodlums fawn over Rebecca, whom Labilia had put down for years as a talentless hack who'd never make it to the big leagues.]]
* HumanizingTears: [[spoiler:Following her last fight and reconciliation with Rebecca, she's frequently moved to tears by how noble and selfless Rebecca and her crewmates are for choosing to treat her illness despite all she'd done, signifying that her days as an arrogant bully are behind her.]]
* HumblePie: [[spoiler:The events that happen during three-year TimeSkip are not kind to her, with her channel falling off the charts and [[YourDaysAreNumbered her death by terminal illness coming closer than ever]], all while she watches Rebecca rise to internet stardom after years of mocking her for never having it in her. This has led to Labilia dialing back her ego and making peace with Rebecca.]]
* IChooseToStay: [[spoiler:After being welcomed aboard the ''Edens Zero'' crew by Rebecca to be treated for her disease, Labilia chooses to remain on the ship with her despite knowing that they're heading into a war.]]
* IKnowKarate: [[spoiler:She reveals to Rebecca that she's an expert in the Dancing Sakura style of karate, and is skilled enough to completely knock Rebecca flat on her face when Rebecca [[WillfullyWeak holds her Ether Gear back]].]]
* ImprobableHairstyle: She has a ponytail that levitates on a ball right next to her head.
* InsistentTerminology: She corrects Rebecca for calling her merely "famous", insisting that she's "'''super''' famous".
* IronicName: Mashima says he gave her the name to sound like "lovely". [[AlphaBitch She's anything but]].
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: After narrowly avoiding the B-Cuber kidnapping fiasco thanks to Shiki, Labilia appears to [[TookALevelInKindness take a (slight) level in kindness]] towards Rebecca in the Sun Jewel arc, offering to collab with her as an acknowledgement of her (slight) boost in popularity in exchange for helping them rescue Shiki to repay him. This all turns out to be a malicious lie to set Rebecca up in a prank video where she's CoveredInGunge and mocked in public, and Labilia pretends not to know what Rebecca's talking about when she's reminded of her promise.
* {{Jerkass}}: She's a cheeky girl who treats everyone else around her like dirt, especially B-Cubers she deems to be of inferior talent to her own. Even after the B-Cuber kidnapping fiasco, she shows she still hasn't changed her attitude by humiliating Rebecca on video while stringing the group around for information on Sun Jewel she doesn't have.
* JerkassHasAPoint: As much as she gets a kick out of taunting Rebecca's channel, she does give a legitimate critique towards her unscripted approach towards her videos, citing it as a major reason her ratings are so poor--though she says this while wholeheartedly believing that, no matter how she may improve, Rebecca's videos will never truly amount to anything.
* JustAMachine: She proves to have this mindset towards all androids after angering Happy and Pino with her cruel prank on Rebecca, claiming it's only natural that robots wouldn't understand what's so funny about it. When this comment brings Pino to tears, Labilia gives a bemused smirk and wonders how an android like her can cry at all.
* KarmaHoudiniWarranty: [[spoiler:Her years of mocking Rebecca and flaunting her own popularity have finally caught up to Labilia after three years, with her channel stagnating while Rebecca enjoys her own steady surge of popularity.]]
* KickTheDog: Her reaction to Pino's crying upon seeing her prank on Rebecca and Labilia's taunting about how the video will get a large number of views is to mock the very thought of [[JustAMachine an android having "feelings"]].
* LaserGuidedKarma:
** ZigZagged in the Belial Gore arc. After last being seen pulling an especially cruel prank on Rebecca in the Sun Jewel arc, Labilia is shown [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown bloodied and beaten]] to Rebecca as a welcome favor from Drakken, who brags that she deserved it for all the bullying she did. When Rebecca leaps back in time and rallies the crew to save her, they find she's already been rescued by Amira, but was forced to endure the humiliation of hiding in a cramped closet. Despite this--apart from a comment from Couchpo that Labilia's channel lost its ad revenue for malicious content, and a brief scare where she runs into Jinn (who kidnapped her) while touring Rebecca's ship--Labilia still gets off scott free for her years of bullying little more than a slightly bruised ego.
** [[spoiler:Played straight during the three-year TimeSkip, where she goes from a very popular B-Cuber to a has-been being hassled by perverts while on vacation. Meanwhile, Rebecca's channel has gone from obscure to wildly popular, though nowhere near as popular as Labilia's was in its heyday.]]
* LoveAtFirstPunch: A variation. After Shiki flips her upside-down in retaliation of her hurtful comments towards Rebecca, Labilia becomes totally starstruck and decides to put him in her next video. Whether that nosebleed she gets in the process is due to arousal or getting dropped face-first on the floor is anyone's guess.
* MaliciousMisnaming: She tends to call Happy "Hoppy" when they meet each other, and later subjects Pino to the same by calling her "Pipo". However, it's {{averted}} with Rebecca despite their antagonism, and {{inverted}} with Shiki, whom she gives the AffectionateNickname "Gravity Boy".
* MustMakeAmends: [[spoiler:With her time running out because of her disease, and wanting to die with no regrets, Labilia apologizes to Rebecca for bullying her so viciously, and [[HitMeDammit coaxes her into a physical fight]] so Rebecca can vent her pent-up frustrations with her, knowing this won't make up for anything she's done, but hoping it will give Rebecca some closure.]]
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: While calling her an outright villain is a stretch, Labilia's prank on Rebecca at Sun Jewel unintentionally helps her save Shiki and Homura like she falsely promised, since it gains Rebecca the sympathy of one of Madame Kurenai's men.
* TheNicknamer: She gives Shiki the AffectionateNickname "Gravity Boy" after getting a personal taste of his Gravity Ether Gear.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: [[spoiler:Labilia proves herself to be a more talented martial artist than Rebecca, but that's not saying a lot since she's surrounded by superpowered humans and androids. The only reason Rebecca struggles against Labilia at all is because [[WillfullyWeak she holds back on using her Ether Gear]] the entire fight to avoid seriously injuring her.]]
* PrivilegedRival: It's all but stated that Labilia is far more well-off than Rebecca thanks to her massive popularity bringing in greater ad revenue, with a team of bodyguards following her in public, and her [[AllThereInTheManual character bio]] in ''Pocket Galaxy'' stating that she's a household name who lands herself big business for corporate promotions.
* ReformedBully: [[spoiler:Labilia ceases to be an arrogant bully due to her loss of popularity and Rebecca's rising stardom over the TimeSkip, going out of her way to make amends with her former friend before she bites it.]]
* TheRival: She serves as one for Rebecca in terms of B-Cubing, pumping out much more popular videos and having better production values. To Labilia, though, Rebecca is of little more worth than an easy bullying target. After Rebecca tries saving her, however, Labilia openly acknowledges Rebecca as an opponent, though their relationship hardly improves beyond that.
* SameCharacterButDifferent: [[spoiler:Labilia's character does a complete 180 over the TimeSkip, going from an AlphaBitch and TheBully to a ShrinkingViolet and TheAtoner. She's able to slip into her old attitude like a glove to [[HitMeDammit give Rebecca the incentive to get back at her]], however.]]
* SayItWithHearts: Her sentences are occasionally punctuated with hearts when she says something nasty to Rebecca, as a way of showing how much she enjoys it.
* SecretlyDying: [[spoiler:When she returns after the three-year TimeSkip, Labilia reveals that she's been suffering from an apparently incurable condition since childhood, and doesn't have much longer before she dies. Rebecca, however, refuses to give up on her and invites her onto the ''Edens Zero'' so that Sister can treat her.]]
* SitcomArchNemesis: She is a pompous rival B-Cuber to Rebecca who hardly spends a scene where she doesn't belittle her to her face or behind her back, something she proudly admits she enjoys. In a tragic case, Rebecca says [[WeUsedToBeFriends they used to be friends]], and it's indicated that their friendship fell apart after Labilia became popular.
* SmugSmiler: Her typical expression is a cheerful sneer that she wears when bragging about how much more talented she is than those she deems to be talentless hacks (i.e., Rebecca).
* SoapOperaDisease: [[spoiler:She reveals after the TimeSkip that she's been suffering from some kind of incurable disease since childhood, but no on-screen information about it is given whatsoever, not even its name. She claims to have sought out the best doctors in the cosmos to treat it, but no one could help her. When Sister examines her, she admits she doesn't know a thing about the disease, but is confident she can find a cure that none of her doctors have thought of.]]
* TermsOfEndangerment: She frequently addresses Rebecca in Japanese as "Rebecca-''san''", an honorific used to indicate politeness and respect between peers. In this case, however, Labilia uses it to belittle Rebecca's status as an inferior B-Cuber.
* TooDumbToLive: [[spoiler:As a guest and patient aboard the ''Edens Zero'' crew, she recklessly runs out of the ship's safe room to join the fight in a SpaceFighter in a harebrained attempt to make herself useful in the Lendard arc. She nearly gets herself killed by Clown and Killer for her trouble, the only benefit being that it alerts the rest of the crew to their infiltration when they come to her rescue.]]
* TookALevelInKindness: [[spoiler:Before the TimeSkip, Labilia was a cruel and malicious bully to Rebecca, both online and in person. When she comes back, she's become far more humble and remorseful after her channel loses popularity while watching Rebecca's success overshadow hers, and facing the fact that her SoapOperaDisease will kill her soon.]]
* TwoFirstNames: Her surname, Christy, is more commonly used as a given name.
* UngratefulBitch:
** Proves herself to be this when she offers to help Rebecca save Shiki on Sun Jewel to repay him for saving her from Jinn, only for her gratitude to be thrown into question when it turns out she was just tooling Rebecca into appearing in a malicious prank video. She improves ''slightly'' in the Belial Gore arc, where Rebecca (thinking Labilia was tortured) attempts to save her from Drakken Joe, for which Labilia gives her a GrudgingThankYou...right in between filming and uploading yet another embarrassing video of Rebecca that captures her private moments in the ''Edens Zero'' on film.
** In ''Pocket Galaxy'', where Rebecca doesn't get kidnapped in the Guilst arc until after Labilia's close-call with Jinn, Labilia completely brushes her off for trying to help rescue her.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: Labilia was originally friends with Rebecca before she TookALevelInJerkass and became a cheerfully malicious bully. [[spoiler:More than that, it was Rebecca's videos that inspired her to break into the B-Cube business as a way to cope with her SoapOperaDisease, but Rebecca's lack of talent and improvement over the years frustrated Labilia, turning their relationship toxic. The two girls mend their friendship after the TimeSkip.]]
* WeakButSkilled: [[spoiler:Thanks to her Dancing Sakura Style karate, Labilia is a far more skillful hand-to-hand fighter than Rebecca, who's a trained Ether Gear user. She doesn't learn until after the fact that Rebecca has a greater specialty in sharpshooting, and could have easily dominated her with her Ether Gear, which Rebecca [[WillfullyWeak deliberately held back on using]].]]
* YouSeeImDying: [[spoiler:DoubleSubverted. When she and Rebecca reunite on Dahlia, Labilia declares she has something important to tell her before dying...which, as she elaborates to a concerned Rebecca, is a term for her retirement as a B-Cuber, as her channel has gone stagnant. Soon after, Labilia confesses that the reason she's retiring is because she really ''is'' dying of a [[SoapOperaDisease terminal disease]], and wanted to [[MustMakeAmends bury the hatchet]] with Rebecca before that happens.]]
* YourDaysAreNumbered: [[spoiler:She's been secretly suffering from a terminal illness since the beginning of the series, and is already close to death by the three-year TimeSkip.]]

!!Neepa's Gang

[[folder:In General]]
A gang of hooligans that terrorize the streets of Blue Garden. They cross paths with Shiki and Rebecca when they kidnap Happy to make a fortune.
----
* AdaptationalKarma: It's not known in the manga what became of the thug who took Happy, as he isn't shown among the thugs who get shot down or run away. Not so in the anime, where Rebecca caps him in the head ([[ImprobableAimingSkills with her back turned, no less]]) when he tries [[DragonTheirFeet avenging his fallen bro]].
* BoomHeadshot: Rebecca subjects many of them to this fate for thinking they could take Happy from her, though they all survive since her Happy Blasters only shoot non-lethal Ether bullets.

* BaldOfEvil: He has a cue ball head, and he's is willing to steal, kidnap, and kill for money.
* FatBastard: He's a huge, stout guy who represents the seedy underbelly of Blue Garden.
* GatlingGood: His weapon is a gatling gun, which he thinks is innately super to any other firearm.
* LargeAndInCharge: He's the biggest guy in his gang, who are sent running for the hills when Rebecca takes him down.
* MightyGlacier: The guy doesn't budge an inch once he whips out his gatling gun, which does him no good once Shiki gives Rebecca a solid aerial advantage.
* MoreDakka: He believes that mowing down his enemies is all he needs to take them out.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: He seems like a big, simple thug that Rebecca can easily run circles around, but in the Belial Gore arc, he's shown among the villains who forced Rebecca into a situation where she had to use Cat Leaper to survive.
* SignatureLaugh: "Nee pa pa pa pa pa!"
* UnskilledButStrong: Unlike Rebecca, who makes up for her physical limitations with precise blaster shots, this guy's basic attack strategy is unloading as many bullets as he can on something. While not hard for Shiki and Rebecca to beat, he's still dangerous to be around.

!!The 29 B-Cubers

[[folder:In General]]
!!The 29 B-Cubers

A group of B-Cubers who were abducted by Rogue Out and handed over to Illega on the planet Guilst to be turned into stone furniture. Counting Rebecca, there are 29 in total.[[note]]Labilia would have rounded the group out to a perfect 30 had she not been rescued.[[/note]]
----
* TheCameo: Two of them are based on [[Manga/FairyTail Mirajane and Lisanna]], even donning costumes that resemble their Take-Over forms.
* FanDisservice: In almost any other such scene drawn by Mashima, a bunch of young women getting bound, captured, and stripped of their clothes would be milked for all the {{Fanservice}} it's worth, but it's 100% PlayedForDrama here: all the victims are scared out of their minds to be put through such humiliation before getting turned to stone at the risk of death, and Rebecca, while having enough [[PluckyGirl pluck]] to put it behind her, has a brief meltdown over what she's gone through after she's rescued.
* FireForgedFriends: They start out having no clue who Rebecca is despite all of them being B-Cubers, but after going through hell together to escape from Guilst, they all become a strong, trusting unit.
* InnocentBystander: Every one of them was snatched off the streets of Blue Garden and trafficked to Guilst by a dreaded team of mercenaries.
* RecurringExtra: Not counting Couchpo, who becomes an AscendedExtra, these girls make more occasional appearances in brief {{Omake}} chapters and side events in ''Pocket Galaxy''.

The star of Tokkō TV,[[note]]"Suicide Squad" TV[[/note]] a B-Cube channel that produces death-defying stunt videos.
----
* TheCynic: Her first instinct upon learning she's headed for Guilst is to [[DespairEventHorizon give up all hope]], and she derides Rebecca for entertaining the idea of escaping. Thanks to Rebecca's optimism and quick-thinking, however, she quickly turns her mind around.
* FreakOut: She breaks down in fear when she gets kidnapped, stripped, and faced with being TakenForGranite for potential eternity. After Rebecca helps break everyone out, Milon manages to recover.
* FriendlessBackground: The "Illega Game" event in ''Pocket Galaxy'' reveals that Milon grew up alone and suffering from anxiety, but was accepted by the B-Cube community, which inspired her to put herself out there and live for her new viewer base.
* MistakenForBadass: She's seen as a kickass action hero because of her videos, which are so convincing that none of the other B-Cubers realize they were all scripted until Milon outright tells them. When faced with real-life danger after getting kidnapped, she proves to be just as terrified as the other B-Cubers.
* OneSteveLimit: DoubleSubverted. Her name is identical to Hermit's original second name, which led to the latter getting an official SuddenNameChange to undo this.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: The official translation uses both "Milon" and "Miron" to spell her name, though the former is more frequent, and the one the anime's English version sticks with.
* TearsOfFear: When faced with genuine danger, Milon's cool demeanor crumbles and reduces her to a scared, crying girl.

* BreakTheCutie: She's one of the first B-Cubers to break after getting kidnapped, unable to help crying and screaming when her life is in danger. Thanks to Rebecca, she comes out of the ordeal no worse for wear.
* TheCutie: She is the cutest and most innocent of the B-Cubers who Rebecca gets to know.
* TheLoad: She quickly falls behind during the B-Cubers' escape from Guilst, and Pino suggests [[TheNeedsOfTheMany cutting their losses is the most logical course of action]]. Nevertheless, Rebecca risks her own skin twice to make sure no harm comes to her.
* NonHumanSidekick: Her channel's co-star is a giant koala almost twice her size.
* RoseHairedSweetie: The anime and ''Pocket Galaxy'' give her a rosy hair color to compliment her sweet personality.
* SmarterThanYouLook: Although she gives the impression of a helpless and clumsy girl, she's the first of the kidnapped B-Cubers to notice that the foam Illega used to dissolve their clothes also dissolves glass and metal, which gives Rebecca the idea to escape through their cell's glass window.

* TheSmartGirl: She plays this role among the kidnapped B-Cubers, using her mathematical expertise to devise an escape strategy. Rebecca also recalls her scientific knowledge when fighting against Britney on Foresta.
* SmartPeopleWearGlasses: She deals in making STEM-centric web content, and is the most intellectual of the kidnapped B-Cubers, so it's only fitting she wears glasses.
* TheStrategist: She plays a version of this among the kidnapped B-Cubers on Guilst, where she comes up with the idea to form a [[HumanLadder human pyramid]] to help Rebecca make it up to the window to their cell after the others figure out they can melt a hole through the glass to escape.
