** There's a strong case to be made that one of the things that sets Morrigan apart from the rest of the party is that she is the only innocent -- even the Warden has more life experience than Morrigan, who is only just now experiencing life without her mother's direct influence. This is subtly lampshaded (if such can be possible) by comparing her interactions with the more straightforward members of the party with her romance with the Warden, and the ending to Witch Hunt: for a character who regularly gets the last word in every argument, it's surprising how often the Warden leaves her utterly speechless and confused. It's also implied that Morrigan and Flemeth do care for each other, just not as much as they do for themselves.

* SarcasticDevotee: As much as she snarks at both the Warden and the other companions, and as easy as it is to earn her disapproval by doing anything heroic or altruistic (even if the motivation for it is completely pragmatic), it's actually pretty difficult to piss her off to the point that she'll leave the party. Furthermore, there is no single moral choice in the game that will cause her to leave if mishandled, which is not the case for any of the other companions other than Dog. ** Multiple instances where she talks about women only needing to bat their eyelashes to get men to do what they want

* NoSocialSkills: She largely tactless and ignorant of/annoyed by social mannerisms (she considers shaking hands an offensive breach of her personal space, for example). This is because she was raised in the wilds, largely forbidden to interact with outside world (because most would try to kill her, coinciding with other, rather less altruistic reasons).
