In the previous timeline, after finding out that his son Lucius was brainwashed and his beloved grandchildren were held hostage, Duke Cesare Giornetti became an important ally who gave everything for the sake of the Human Resistance Army.

* InfinityPlusOneSword: The Sword of Light is this. It is described as being made of [[EnergyWeapon a ray of ancient light]] and is only wielded by a special priest chosen by The Goddess of Light Aria once every few hundred years. It can use [[BeatTheCurseOutOfHim <Dispel>]] of the highest rank, as seen when it purified Eurydice and Georgios with just one hit each. The Sword of Light is so powerful and so renown, just wielding it instantly boosted Zephyr’s status from nobody to TheChosenOne.

* IgnoreTheFanservice: In the current timeline Zephyr completely ignored Leah Testarossa's attempt at seducing him while she was imprisoned, forcing her to spit out her Marked Bug and then stepping on it before forcibly fixing her brain. It helps that he ''HATES'' her after what she did to him in their previous lives. Meanwhile, in the previous timeline, during Zephyr's and Altair's first meeting, Zephyr was completely unfazed when Altair stepped out of the bath with only a towel loosely hanging on her arms, demanding the credit stolen by her party when Zephyr's and Fade's party were the ones who put the prey on the brink of death in addition to the Tartarus Worshipper's corpse and items.

* MotiveMisidentification: Thought Polaris had let the Danakil territory wither away because he had given up on it. In reality, Polaris, as the Leader of the Tartarus Worshippers, ''purposefully'' had the Danakil territory polluted and sold his stocks and territory bonds in Danakil away to profit from the misfortune he had caused. However, if Zephyr managed to indirectly tell Altair the truth about her eldest brother, this might change soon...

They later married and had a son, Marius, together.
