* {{Irony}}: Despite being associated with water, like all fairies, they can't swim.

Added DiffLines:

* InformedFlaw: It's stated that Never Fairies can't swim, not even Water Fairies. Meaning that Silvermist can't swim either but in the Pixie Hollow Preview, ''Silvermist's Symphony", when the Water Fairy falls in a pond, she emerges out quickly with no signs of drowning. Though it's possible that this was just a very shallow pond that Silvermist could've just waded in.

* AdaptationPersonalityChange: She was perfectly normal in the chapter books, being somewhat clever, hard-working and with her main character trait being a calm, unflappable demeanor. The movies turn her into a complete space-case who can't even tell irony or exaggeration from fact ("And she just exploded!" "*gasp!* She exploded!?").

* LiteralMinded: In ''Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure'' when Terrance tells her Tinker Bell exploded she thinks he means Tink literally exploded, until he elaborates that he meant she lost her temper.

* AccentAdaptation: In the books, no mention was made of her accent. In the movies, she's voiced with a noticable SouthernBelle accent none of the other fairies have.

* InLoveWithLove: She’s something of a romantic, but her crushes tend to be as brief as they are intense, and her flings never seem to last, with her moving on from her love interests very quickly. In one book, she tearfully vents to Tinker Bell about how the sparrow-man of her dreams just won’t notice her, and eventually convinces Tink to act as her wing-woman and essentially ask him out for her—but by the time Tink gets around to doing it, Rosetta has already found a different man of her dreams and is no longer interested in the first guy. This is downplayed in the movies, but she does have an implied romance with a frost fairy named Sled at one point.

** LovableAlphaBitch: She eventually comes to terms with the rest of the gang, and stops being so rude and nasty to everyone. She's now just mildly-arrogant and snarky. Her book version, although quite a sum meaner, has shades of this too; she's can still be very cruel, but she has a soft spot for newcomer GenkiGirl Prilla, and they eventually strike up a friendship.
* AlternateContinuity: Effectively two different characters between the books and the novels. In the books, she's almost outright villainous and cruel, literally causing sentient beings ''pain'' and refusing to believe she's done so. She almost completely lacks empathy, gets one scene in nearly every book to needle someone for no reason, and is completely disingenuous at all times, showing a softer side (ie. a brief smile) only to Prilla. In the movies, she's merely snotty and a liar, and by the third movie, shows much more empathy and care for others. She's still snarky and rude, but tends towards being exasperated instead of cruel.

* GodSaveUsFromTheQueen: She's typically benevolent, but proximity to a [[ArtifactOfDoom very powerful, ''extremely'' mean-spirited wand]] turns her into a borderline dictator whose power fantasies including subjecting other fairies to outright ''slavery.'' She's appropriately horrified with herself when the wand is gone, but it's implied that things could've gone very badly if she was allowed to keep it much longer.

* NonstandardCharacterDesign: In the movies, she's taller, more elegant, and much more sparkly than the other fairies, with massive golden butterfly wings. In the books, her face and frame are pretty much the same as everyone else's, but she gets much more elaborate floor-length costumes than any of the others do, and a CoolCrown.
* PrefersGoingBarefoot: At least according to a story in one of the comic books called "Barefoot", where it is revealed that she sometimes likes going without shoes.

*FlowersOfFemininity: She’s a gardening-talent fairy and easily the girliest GirlyGirl in the main cast.

*WeUsedToBeFriends: Some of the books imply that she and Clarion used to be friends before they had some sort of falling-out. This was never expanded upon, though, and was dropped once both of their characters were retooled for the movies.

*WeUsedToBeFriends: Several of the earlier books imply that she and Vidia were friends at some point in the distant past before they fell out with one another.

* LargeAndInCharge: She's in charge of the tinker fairies, and somewhat more bigger than they are.

Added DiffLines:

* PrefersGoingBarefoot: Although she usually wears shoes with most of her outfits, Fawn goes barefoot in her summer outfit, as seen in ''Great Fairy Rescue'' and some of the Pixie Previews that seem to be set around that time period.
