Energetic, reckless, and generally just confusing to figure out, Polly's a big bottle of pep that doesn't seem to have a bottom. Though she causes a lot of destruction, she's ultimately harmless... On the surface.
* ArcVillain: Of season 1.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Polly embodies this trope wholly, which makes her status as ArcVillain all the more dissonant.
* WordSaladHumor: Talks in circles a lot, and will substitute puns, definitions, Shout Outs, or all of the above in place of or in addition to the word she's actually talking about. She drops this entirely when serious.
* WeirdnessCoupon: Does a lot of wacky things, and acts so strangely that no one really bothers to question her at this point.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: As kooky as she is, Polly is not to be trifled with. She's the closest thing Gaster has to a physical connection to reality, regularly tampers with forces beyond mortal comprehension (even having done so since she was a child), and has no qualms with severely harming others if it advances her goals or they harm her loved ones.
* ExtremeOmnivore: Can eat basically anything with no repercussions. This includes napkins, lava lamp goop, and actual poison.
* TheHeavy: Gaster's most loyal follower, and the one who causes the most problems.
* AffablyEvil: Aside from her goal of [[spoiler: bringing Gaster onto the mortal plane]], and all the immoral acts she commits in pursuit of said goal, she's a genuinely cheerful and silly person who cares deeply for her friends and family. She tries her best to not bring harm onto innocent people, either, though those she personally cares for take priority.
* StepfordSmiler: Of the Unstable variety. Her pep and cheer never lets up, even as she commits immoral atrocities.
* EccentricArtist: Absolutely off the rails, but also Debbie's songwriter and composer.
* MaskOfSanity: Played with. She's been mad for so long that people have accepted this as her sanity.
* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: Serves the Man Who Speaks In Hands, has crafted and used a multitude of unnaturally powerful weapons, and is certifiably mad.
* TheFatalist: Taken Up to Eleven. Not only does she believe YouCantFightFate, she knows it for a fact.
* MediumAwareness: Knows that she's a fictional character, down to being aware that the only reason she's like this at all is because her creator decided it.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Adores her friends and family, and will do anything to protect them.
* MeaningfulName: Her name is a wholesale reference to PLA, or Poly Lactic Acid. Pollyanna, and by extension, Polly, is phonetically similar to Poly. Laiche is taken from a term for milk, and Owsley refers to Blue Owsley, a way to refer to the drug acid.
* RetGone: Was erased from existence after falling into the Dark Fountain she tampered with.

Unlike her rambunctious younger siblings, Thia's got a fairly good head on her shoulders. Responsible, cool headed, and almost maternal at times, she's usually the one to clean up the other two's messes. Despite how annoyed she can get at them, she loves O'Malley and Polly with all her heart, and will get more than a little ticked at whoever happens to bring harm to them. A hard and competent worker, she enjoys taking care of people, even if ''some of them'' are more trouble than they're worth.

* OnlySaneMan: The calmest and most rational Laiche-Owsley sibling.

Calm, stoic, somewhat spacey, and usually the one who needs to be caught up on the conversation so far since they have their head in the clouds so often... Publicly, anyway. When behind closed doors, Cream is a much more sly and self serving individual, being willing to do a variety of morally questionable things in exchange for some cash (though they're too jelly-boned to do anything too awful). They're a frequent gossip with more connections than you may expect, and some rumors and hearsay to the right people can ruin people if they so wish.

* ShoutOut: Their color scheme and Rings are a blatant reference to [[Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica Kyubey]], down to them even having him as a voice claim.
* EveryoneHasStandards: While they have no issues with ruining people's reputations to build up their own, they're implied to have some qualms about sending those people to The Grand Device.

A trio of former mercenaries Queen hired to up security following a series of break ins and outs. Generally kind of unpleasant.

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Evil might be a stretch, but they all care deeply for each other and their [[TeamPet pet snake, Milk]]. They're also on very good terms with Doombound, another mercenary group.

* EvilCounterpart: To 5GB, though evil is pushing it a tad.

* CatsAreMean: Themed after tasques, and is certifiably a massive bitch.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: Minette refuses to let her siblings touch Lazuli when she's glitching out, implicitly worried for their health.
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Maisy. The two sling insults at each other almost constantly, Minette usually poking fun at Maisy's figure and the way the Swatchlings treat her.
* MeaningfulName: Minette is taken from "minou", the French term for "kitty". When pronounced like minou, her name sounds like "mean-ette", which is also incredibly fitting.

* VitriolicBestBuds: With Minette. The two sling insults at each other almost constantly, with Maisy tending to favor slut shaming and admonishing Minette for her sadistic urges.

* BloodKnight: Enjoys fighting to the point to the point that he even enjoys the pain that comes with trading blows, and often pesters B.T to spar with them.

[[folder: Kikuchiyo Himawari]]
Poised, powerful, intimidating, graceful; all things the heir to the esteemed Himawari family should be... and things Kikuchiyo wishes he was. Though polite and kind on the surface, it doesn't take much to break past that cordial exterior to find the fretful, insecure, and easily rattled young man underneath. He supposedly means well, though his difficulties with being honest with both others and himself often casts those intentions into doubt. While secretive and overly conscious of others' perceptions of him, Kikuchiyo ultimately just wants to bond with those around him. His upbringing has made him somewhat ignorant of the outside world, particularly pop culture. He's more than happy to learn, however.

* AbusiveParents: His parents place horrifically high expectations on him, constantly making him feel like nothing he did was ever enough, leaving him with terrible Impostor Syndrome. He's anxious to leave the Dark World because [[SkewedPriorities he's falling behind with his studies as a result]], and thinks if he shows them evidence of a whole different world, they'll finally accept him. The poor guy just wants his parents' approval, which is sadly a fool's errand.
* TheUnFavorite: His parents love his more talented younger sisters much more than they do him.
* InSeriesNickname: Pretty much everyone just calls him Kiku.
* LonelyRichKid: The heir to the incredibly affluent Himawari Dynasty Conglomerate and grew up almost totally isolated from his peers.
* OldMoney: As stated in his overly long and formal self introduction, his family's been around for a whopping ninety-four generations, and they're one of the wealthiest families in history.
* TokenRichStudent: Out of all the students at the community college, he's easily the most wealthy.
* TheWrongfulHeirToTheThrone: He may not be a prince, but Kiku's next in line to inherit the Himawari Conglomerate, and his parents don't like that fact one bit. Strangely, it's not because he's at all incompetent in any manner; he simply doesn't reach the astronomical standards his parents set for him.
* MeaningfulName: His name has the kanji for "chrysanthemum" in it. Not only are they his favorite flower, they represent royalty, longevity, and rejuvenation in Japan. However, they're also a common flower to give when mourning, and white ones (which Kiku is mainly associated with) specifically represent death, but also truth and honesty. They're also said to keep away evil spirits, which could come in handy considering the man he's in love with suffers from possession...

Cold, no nonsense, dedicated to her job. Doesn't quite have the same regard for life that most people do. Sees viruses as disgusting pieces of filth that need to be eliminated at all costs. Willing to commit rather immoral acts in pursuit of her goals. Has a fascination with causing the viruses under her study "payback".

* MeaningfulName: Lucidia is derived from LCD, or Liquid Crystal Display.
* IronicName: Novocaine is an anesthetic, which is incredibly unfitting for someone who takes such pride in making her test subjects suffer.

Chipper, hard working, and perhaps a little too enthusiastic, Bee takes pride in her work as a member of the Feet of The Grand Device. Can get a little overzealous when recruiting people, but usually gets reined in by her friend. A bit creepy to some, but not the worst Addison in the shopping districts.

* ObviouslyEvil: Not Beebee herself, per se, but The Grand Device she plugs so mercilessly is very clearly a {{Cult}}.
* GenkiGirl: Cheerful, energetic, and hard working.

* HumanoidAbomination: Whatever she is, Beebee is no longer an addison.
* BlackBlood: Or, well, rainbow blood. It's a mismatch of all the different kinds of blood inside her due to her... ''dubious'' origins.

Mysterious, cryptic, and somewhat distant, Lilith wholeheartedly believes in the nobility of The Grand Device's goals, doing everything in her power to further their agenda. For someone who essentially deals with TGD's PR and advertising, she's not the most social person. Despite that, she's a fairly warm person at heart, hoping to protect those she cares about.

* MeaningfulName: Is named after the Queen of Night on the Tree of Death.
* PrettyButterflies: Can control butterflies, and has them as a secondary motif.
* AloofDarkHairedGirl: Woman, but she's a very distant and cold person on the outside.
* AffablyEvil: Genuinely believes in the benevolence of The Grand Device, and would much rather sort things out peacefully. That said, she's still a high ranking member of an ObviouslyEvil {{Cult}}.
* LadyOfBlackMagic: Elegant, composed, and graceful, as well as a skilled magic user.
* SummoningArtifact: She uses her amulet to summon forth members of The Grand Device out of the pool they use for baptisms.

A cold, stoic, and no nonsense guard robot who was lucky enough to be implanted with an AI chip as the last Royal Scientist's final project... Or so she's been told, anyway.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Was forced into being a guard robot when Swatch found out Textile was building himself a daughter, first of all. While she lived a fairly smooth life with him, after her father was caught committing treason, she was forced to help detain him. However, due to her AI chip being on equal priority as her guard programming, she hesitated heavily. As such, after Textile was sealed in the underground labs, [[LaserGuidedAmnesia she had her memories of him wiped]], and she had her AI placed on lower priority.
* TheStoic: Rarely emotes, with a flat intonation and utter lack of expression. This is due to her AI chip having lower priority than her guard programming, which suppresses her emotions.
* StoicWoobie: Can't feel emotions properly, but still resents how [[YouAreNumberSix she's completely replaceable]]. Unable to feel or emote how she wants, and devotes everything she is to her job, since she feels like she doesn't have worth otherwise.
* LawfulStupid: Will fly into blind, violent rages if she catches anyone breaking the law within her sights. {{Justified}}, as that's more her guard programming than Sosou herself.
* BerserkButton: Rule breaking, as stated above. And God help you if you harm Gen or B.T and she finds out.
* BoisterousWeakling: Inverted. She almost never emotes and is the deadliest out of the three.
* KillerRobot: Slightly downplayed since she's programmed to not ''kill'' anyone unless they're specifically on the blacklist, but she's described as "a walking armory", so she's still deathly dangerous to take on in battle.
* BoringButPractical: Her main method of taking down enemies is rushing them, breaking their legs, and then shooting them in the face if permitted. Not as flashy as other versions of her, but certainly one of the most effective.

A former lighting and sound technician in the Land of Plush and Peace, he was donated from there to Chroma City following the daycare closing down. Neurotic, paranoid, and easy to scare, but ironically, the best at handling people out of the three.
* TheWoobie: Oh man, this poor guy. His brother's best friend goes insane, then said best friend sabotages their last concert, horribly traumatizing him psychologically. He learns he has to leave his brother behind, and the best friend from earlier gives him a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech that only exacerbates his anxiety. He arrives in Chroma City right as Swatch is beginning to head down a dark path, to boot. All of this has left Gen a nervous wreck who runs almost entirely on anxiety, afraid of what could happen if anything were to shake the delicate balance he has now.
* MustHaveCaffeine: Drinks way too much coffee and hot chocolate due to constant nightmares and anxiety. In addition, the uniform he wears covers up his solar panels, so he's already running on lower energy than he should anyway.
* {{Workaholic}}: In contrast to his canon counterpart, Wheel!Gen actually works incredibly hard, fearful of what could happen if he ever slacked or, Light forbid, dozed off on the job, which fuels his caffeine addiction and anxiety.

A radio darkner who was picked up off the streets by Swatch when they were relatively young. Despite being brought up as their protege, following a series of incidents that broke his trust beyond repair, they have some incredibly mixed feelings on their boss now. Misanthropic, pessimistic, and heavily distrustful, they've essentially given up on the world and are just waiting for the next catastrophe to happen.
* SilentSnarker: Much like canon, they don't speak. Unlike canon, they're much less willing to hold back any snide comments they may have, communicating via notebook or sign language.
* MentorInSourArmor: To the duo of Tasque kittens they care for, Olaf and Ziggy.
* BrokenPedestal: Used to hold Swatch in very high esteem, being one of the only people who showed her love and care. That was ruined after he was forced to receive bodily modifications he didn't want, only narrowly avoiding getting their voicebox removed as well.
* BerserkButton: Don't even ''suggest'' that they be "grateful" for their body modifications. And don't look under his clothes unless you're the palace mechanic.
* InSeriesNickname: Gen refers to her as "Beet" fairly often.
