* HateSink: If being a spoiled, manipulative, control freak bully didn’t make him this he definitely becomes this trope [[spoiler: when he sabotages Kit’s report card and gets her sent to Summer School and attempts to get Craig grounded, not only is he a bully when playing pretend but he’s willing to ruin the kids home lives as well.]]

Added DiffLines:

* FriendshipBribe: He manages to control his side of the creek by enticing the kids for their loyalty by having ample access to various candies thanks to his upper-class privileges. He's never had any friends who liked him for who he is, so being bequeathed the title of "King" makes him an Entitled Bastard who throws his money around. Part of his character arc is realizing that he can't just buy friends without putting in actual effort to make them.

* HeelFaceDoorSlam: [[spoiler:Xavier returns as "The Red Poncho" in season 4, who makes considerable progress in obtaining many pieces of the Heart of the Forest as the Stump Gang. He offers Craig a truce to find the last piece and combine their pieces together to make the map. Craig recognizes that he's at least making an effort to try and open up and become friends. Xavier senses the [[NiceJobBreakingItHero apprehension from Omar, Maya, Kelsey, and J.P. When they all finally reach the end of the map, Xavier acknowledges that they'll never see him as anything but the bad guy, and decides to go all in on being the villain]]. Maya later [[SubvertedTrope gives him a dressing down that he's not putting in enough time or effort for a friendship to actually develop. They're willing to give him a chance, but he has to work for it]]]].

* CorruptedCharacterCopy: Of King Bob from ''WesternAnimation/{{Recess}}''. Just like King Bob, he rules over the much younger children of his "kingdom" while they play. But whereas King Bob was a noble and fair, if often egotistical, ruler who wanted what was ultimately best for his subjects, Xavier is a mad tyrant who only thinks about himself, and will gladly bully and threaten anyone who stands in his way of getting what he wants.

* HeelFaceTurn: [[spoiler:After "Capture the Flag," she slowly works on rebuilding her friendship with Omar and starts to befriend the Stump Trio. It starts off rocky, due to the years of bad blood between her and Omar, and Craig's initially slow to trust her. For a while, she becomes ReformedButRejected when she's suspected of being the Red Poncho and accused of lying to Omar about wanting to change. While justifiably hurt by Omar's mistrust in her, Maya proves she's genuinely redeemed herself.]]

** [[spoiler:By the end of the fifth season, she's once again friends with both Omar ''and'' Xavier, calling out both about their own poor behavior and saying they all need to work on rebuilding their friendship after so many bad years.]]
* WomenAreWiser: [[spoiler:She proves to be more emotionally mature than Omar and Xavier by "The Heart of the Forest." She calls out Omar for his unwillingness to believe Xavier can change, while also calling out Xavier for thinking one afternoon of bonding was enough for people to instantly forget what a villain he was. She acknowledges they all have work to do to become better people, and it needs to start now.]]
