* BigBadWannabe: They're ultimately just a bunch of non-powered kooks with guns (save for Elcano who is an actual Counter), a far cry from the {{Eldritch Abomination}}s and superpowered people that show up as antagonists elsewhere. As such, they never become particularly prominent threats.
* BrownBagMask: The cultists initially wore these, but that made them very easy to track for SWAT 4 since Kang simply had to find the only place in town that was ordering a ton of paper bags and wasn't a bakery. They switch to balaclavas in later appearances.
* DrugsAreBad: They deal in a type of FantasticDrug known as Elixir, which gives the user a remarkable HealingFactor but also causes Corruption in them.
* FacelessGoons: Their members have their faces hidden by either brown paper bags or balaclavas.
